I'm guessing that those who are good with B/E type jobs have better, but what I've got might help.

Well my charecter may be a security rigger...but his toys are all specific for hacking networks of drones and building security, so he doesnt have anything like that... he just has a couple of drones for spying. The rest is up to him and his cyberware!

I've also got a Maglock Passkey (4), Keypad Sequencer (4), and an Ultrasound Emitter/Detector. Throw in a few tools for good breaking and entering too.

Preception for noticing if anything notices me:
2, 4, 9

Perception for putting together a mental map:

2, 3, 7

Perception for noticing anyone or anything magical:

5, 11, (and I'm not kidding) 25

Perception to see if I find/recognize the target:

2, 4, 5

Perception check for looking through the drones optical sensors: 4,4,2,2,1

Perception check for patrols: 2, 2, 5, 5, 11

Perception check for hiding spots: 1, 1, 1, 4, 13

Perception test for dead zone: 2, 2, 2, 4, 5

Stealth check to trash can: 2, 2, 15, 16

The Bicson Medical Depot does not utilize security drones, and therefore is not transmitting on any rigger frequencies. Further, none of the information you have received indicates that it is equipped for a security rigger. Even if it were, it would require you to access a hardwired component in order to conduct your intrusion.

Grendel, whats the world on me switching characters to a decker? I was originally going to play one when we first started, but I thought someone else was doing it, so I ended up going with something different. I just figured if we are going to be using a decker a lot, it would be nice to have it as a PC rather than NPC.

Actually, I've got a few questions for Grendel...

Can I build my own deck or do I have to buy a generic one?
I'm considering dropping the Decker idea and going with Otaku, is that ok?

Otaku is fine, and you can build your own deck. Just keep in mind the limitations for starting characters.

Between the fact that this game looks pretty dead, I'm running Bleeding Edge, and I am going to Gencon fairly quick here and need to write the run and make all the characters, I think I'm going to have to quit this game.

I have my new character for the game finished and Grendel gave it the OK. I just need to know from him how he plans to introduce my character to the group.

I'll keep running as long as there is interest in the game. It might get a little difficult for the remaining runners if more and more people keep dropping out. I'm not opposed to a recruiting drive if you guys feel that you need to flesh out the team.

You know my policy is first come first served, but I started this game at the request of people who didn't have any other groups to play in, so really the only practical limit on the people involved is the number of people available.
