Four successes is enough to open the lock. The system is setup to automatically log each time the door is opened. If you want to suppress that entry, it will require you to edit the security log.

simple. get us out of there, nuke the place from orbit. (it's the only way to be sure)
Also, could you keep us abreast of how much time has passed since they entered the complex? how long searches take, etc?

Ok, erasing astral signatures (pp 172) is vague on some points.
First, do my spell sustaining penalties apply?(in my games I rule they apply to all magical TNs, so I'd guess they do, but it doesn't say that explicitly)
For the spell, since I'm using sorcery, can I use spell pool? (I'm assuming I can use my focus)
Also, if I do not erase it fully the first time, is there anything saying I can't take more time, and another test to erase it further?
edit:
btw, watcher perception tests from having them scout:
05 03 10
02 04 02
05 11 04
02 10 05
so 11 is the highest

Two things... the first is can I please have a general overview of the area from Grendel please? I am looking for creative escape routes as well as some standard evasion types.....
the secound thing is (again) is that we arnt in a van!! there are two sports cars... there is a Westwind (who I cant remember who it belongs to) and Jim is driving a lonestar modified Honda.... the cars will be able to take the canisters in their boots I should imagine. but can we please clear this up?!

Yes, they apply.

Yes to both of these.

Yes, you can make subsequent attempts to erase the signature, but each additional one will be at a +2 target number.

The medical depot is located in a light industrial/commercial area of Tacoma. The surface streets are 3 lanes with curbside parking. The center lane is a turn lane. From your current position you have two secondary street routes to chose from and two routes which will take you on to the interstate system. In general, two of the routes (one secondary, one interstate) will take you north towards Bellvue, Downtown, and Auburn while the other two routes take you east into Puyallup, Renton, and Redmond.
Silverspur_2020
Mar 23 2004, 05:28 PM
Do any of these streets in question have any significant features? like tunnels, bridges, vehicle size allys etc?
grendel
Mar 23 2004, 05:43 PM
Both interstates are elevated about six meters above street level. The routes that are based purely on secondary roads pass beneath several overpasses. The area you're in features frontage and access roads instead of alleys between the buildings, all of which are large enough to pass a vehicle easily.

@Grendel:
If Mirage has to shoot anybody while carrying the canister in her other hand, is the penalty just +1 (light encumberance), or is it higher due to the bulk / awkwardness of the canister?
grendel
Mar 25 2004, 08:49 AM
It will be a little situational dependent but in all likelihood it'll only be +1.

Erasing signatures. no outward signs of this are show, I just seem to be staring into space for a few seconds in the non-van.
Erasing Barrier:
09 05 01 04 03 03 01 01 02 02 10 04 11 03 = 3 successes signature is gone
Also, I don't know if summoning the watchers left an aura where they were summoned, but if it did, I'd like to erase it, however, on those, I'll wait until I'm not sustaining anything. (I'm under the impression that I can erase them while astrally projecting, if this is false, please let me know).

the information is then transcribed into the pocket secretary, and I am then activating a previously created program for such an event. All it really is is a text search for the following words: tracker, microphone, bug, explosive, bomb, grenade, mine, camera, gas canister. (I figure that's a program I could hire a decker, to write pretty cheaply, if not, I'll just do a text search for each one like you would in a word procesor)

I've made this post in both Team Effort OOC & Reign of Shadows OOC.
I'll be going on holiday for two weeks this Thurday, I get back on the 29th. If my hotel has net access I'll try to keep posting while I'm away, but I don't think that my wife will be too happy if I spend a lot of time online.
Assuming that I can't post from the hotel, then from Thurday onwards I'm happy for Shadow / Grendel to make decisions for Mirage in their respective runs while I'm away.

I am waiting for those that are driving, or those involved with the meet at all, to post some sort of arrival actions. The team is, after all, nearly forty five minutes early. If no special precautions are being taken, though, we can simply move on.
