Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to All!!
Besides work and the bustle of the holidays, I've just gotten into a creative funk where posting was seeming like another form of work. Hoping to get through that and get my games moving again... at least that's my resolution.
I see that it has been some time since Karma/CSP awards. Ok. Jazz and Jake have been consistent and despite the issues, were able to successfully get the package away: 4 karma + 4 CSP. Spades at half that 2 + 2. Add in a holiday bonus of 2 + 2 for everyone. Current totals in the bank are:
Jake: 10 karma, 8 CSP
Jazz: 7 Karma, 9 CSP
Spades: 8 Karma, 9 CSP.

Here's a Data Search roll to check on those gangers and find out a bit more about them hopefully.
Data Search + Browse + VR = 3 hits
Though I think talking to them is kinda inevitable.

Doh!! I seem to miss those more and more often and I'm beginning to think I have a mental block

Darkside Five: Moderate size gang who hold sway over approximately 35 city blocks. She estimates gang membership somewhere in the 50-100 range. They are currently in turf battles with both the Silent Dragons and the Blood Baths. There was shoot out two nights ago with the latter. Blog entries also betray that the leader was wounded pretty badly in an assassination attempt last week.

In order to speed up the scene, feel free to anticipate rolls. If valid, I will adjust the dice pool as required. If your action requires a roll, I will go ahead and roll and post. Where part of the team is progressing slower than another part of the team, I will simply ask for a roll. Let me know if anyone is opposed to this strategy.
Thanee - I just reviewed the time line and location and realized that I miscalculated earlier.
Jazz is 5 minutes by GridGuide from the scene. Please make a driving test to try and shave time from that.

I don't like the diagram, only because it looks like the van is headed straight for Spades' car. That and Spades should have just stayed in my car. Stupid things shall not be repeated twice, also, we'll see how this progresses.

Sorry, you misunderstand the sketch. The van is accelerating
away from the car, not towards it.
Edit: Jake jerked the wheel (Attempting to knock down/run over the ganger who just shot his window) and drive through the bikes. The red brushing represents the distance that the van will cover in the first combat round.

With acceleration, it will cover twice that distance on R2 and triple that amount on R3. Its just surviving those rounds that will be the trick.. Then there is the fact the bikes accelerate faster than the van. I'm thinking you may have a hole or two in the smash em plan.

Rounds? Why did I waste all that money on extra armor then?
I have no problems with bikes being faster, they are structuraly weaker and I can push them off the road or trample them.

Good news is your drones have the rapid deployment launchers. Bad news is you didn't buy extra armor for the van.

I can't believe the van didn't go down. In any case, the van starts the next action having passed out the gauntlet. Spades is screaming away in reverse and pretty much ignored at this point. The roto-drone is in the air, its blades having snapped out and stabilized. The dobermans are in the middle of the combat spraying ammo like it is free, but the gangers are head down except the one trying to save face... and eating a lot of lead doing it.

How large is the package? Maybe it would make sense to relocate it to Spades car, just because the van has had some attention by the Star and such.
