Alright, so I'm presuming that Papa is going to begin decrypting. (I'm posting rolls and moving forward. Redjack can jump in here if he doesn't want to decrypt the node.)

What sort of roll did you want for tailing him? Shadowing and...? Or some unholy mixture that includes an actual driving test?

EDIT: Oh, lol... I read the quote from the rulebook there. embarrassed.gif Yeah, Strong Encryption changes that 1 Combat Turn to any time you want, basically.

Redjack--There is Strong Encryption (Unwired) on the node. Think about how you would protect the teams links if you had Interpol chasing your team.

I was peeved by it too but then you can use it to your benefit so it kind of balances out - just don't think you can read encrypted message/traffic on the fly.

Strong encryption is only for nodes or files, can't be used for transmissions.

What sort of roll for tucking the truck way out of LoS of the road (without getting it stuck wink.gif )?

Fenris--Piloting roll to put it there. You can also roll Disguise if you are cutting terrain to hide it. Any Perception on your side?

Parazoology: Nothing freaky that lives in the area, beyond the normal parafauna of the mountains. Most of the paracritters live much higher up in the mountains, further from civilization.

Survival: This is a predominantly evergreen forest. The highway is regularly driven on, a few hundred cars each day. The smaller road looks to see one or two vehicles a day. Line of sight is clear for about 50 feet (16 m) from the smaller road into the woods.

Saytr--The wreckage looks like the team will be able to salvage gear. The house is in a Rough Neighborhood, so other people may make a move on it if you leave it for more than a day.

Hamagen--If Dalma is going to project, toss me Perception and Assensing rolls. Father can make a Perception test to find stuff in the wreckage if you tell him what to look for.

All--Is the plan to hit the team now, or do you want to salvage gear from the safehouse and wait for Siren to get back?

I think the idea with Father is to just have him make sure no scavengers come around, not necessarily look for things.

Dalma is going to do some astral perception...

At this point we're outnumbered and out-gunned, as I'm understanding the situation. I definitely think we should wait for salvage...put someone back down at their vehicle that can follow if they split up in the meantime, but going in down heavy weapons and two teammates doesn't seem like the best approach at this point. They don't seem spooked.

Anyone got a laser mic?

BishopMcQ - How accurate is Brock's statement? Sans the dug up earth (which could, of course, be really really bad) is it impossible to approach the house from any direction besides the road, even on foot?

Fenris--There's about a fifty foot clearance from the treeline to the house with no real cover. The forest line does have explosives, so it will take a demolitions type person or extreme care to not trip those. The road is clearly designed for cars to drive single file and the ditch would make a fast approach reckless. Overall, the site looks like it is relying on its remote nature to protect it.

Anyone with Security Systems, Procedures etc want to toss dice at it?

I assume the two trucks to be pulled off the road somewhere together. When I arrive there, I will run hidden nodes. I will be running again with the team, but starting with the vehicles to see if we've simply been tracked to entire way, prior to scanning the woods to see if my teammates just slipped by hidden cameras or motion sensors.

Running out of time to post. As the game is pacing faster than I can keep up again, here are more things for Papa to do if the time advances before I can post again:
- Browse/Analyze for what files are here. Check for data bombs on any before opening. Looking for files regarding Locket, the team or the objects or locations (where the objectives were last known to be)
- Scan for hidden nodes using Brock's comlink where the team is.
- Determine multiple escape routes from the curent parking spot (both trucks modern? ergo: Can be remote controlled)
- Acquire the following software: TacNet, Targeting (all armed drones), Chaser & Covert Ops autosofts (ergonomic).
- Using LOS from someone who can see the camcorder, determine if it has a wireless node, if so, intercept the signal (determine what exactly is being watched and the spectrums being watched).
