Team-- Remember that you are all still sitting at the Noodle Stand. If the team is dispersing and taking time to gather specific info rather than what you remember from Kn skills, let me know.

Fenris -- Mara's name has not come up in Awakened flora, though Horizon has done some research into it. Similarly her name hasn't come up on the black market.

Public works -- Horizon has set up several prefab buildings near the Covina dam where a large number of refugees are gathered. They offer clinics and education support to the families. There is also a thirty-story apartment building going up where Horizon is guaranteeing housing and a job at their Fun City theme parks. Most of the employees are not doing full construction, but rather the finishing touches like drywall, painting and furniture installation.


Thanee-- generic is easier to track, so I'm fine with that. There's nothing specific about it needing to be per spirit type. Nothing in the data packet suggests a specific timeframe. Remember that the team is paying for the bunker by the week, and there is an Interpol investigation continuing.

Yeah, seen that. Of course, they won't have found any astral signatures from Siren there, since her effects (spells, spirits, etc) do not leave any up to her Grade (and the only higher one was the Stun Bolt on the Raccoon, which was cleansed away afterwards).

In fact, it could be wise to be apart for a few days, anyways.

Yah what is the plan y'all? Are we going to scatter and prep? How long before we actually try to do the job? Does anyone have a rough idea of how they want to do the extraction?

I was trying to figure out if we could describe yourself as a construction crew for maintenance team and it'll take the Enclave and get the extraction done that way.

Send a construction crews are nowhere near her house and be very hard for us to interpret as a construction crew into the residential side of the compound I was going to see if we could use the underground if there are any underground movement going on or anti Polly Club movements if we can maybe have their assistance

If we can find out when/if she does her community support or any other use of free time outside corp compounds. My preference is for grabbing her en route to her job.

What's the normal time to scope out a place and do the job? Is the next mission putting a squeeze on this one?

Copperheed--It's normal to spend a day or two digging around and watching the target's routine to see if there is a good time to grab them. The next mission doesn't have a specific timetable and the team has eliminated the other team that they knew was seeking the same item.

At this point, is the whole team going back to the bunker, just part of the team? It looks like everyone is wrapping up with the noodles and ready to switch scenes but I don't want to rush folks out of their RP.

I wanted to check in with you, RedJack. Personality-wise, I'd built my character to do sort of the leader thing, since it seemed like we were lacking some direction when I was running before. I dont' want to step on any OOC toes, however, with my IC actions. Does that work for you? Are there things I can do IC to smooth the transition?

In the data correlated from public sources & data havens about Mara, were there any details that could be used to construe any scheduling details, like charity work, etc?

No problems. I would say we role-play it out. As a player, I would welcome one of the more magically inclined taking a lead role though given the intertwining of your two characters I am challenged to see how one of them can differentiate himself as the leader.

Either for the preparations, which I mentioned, that will take a week... if we won't do this before that time (Siren will be "off the grid" for about a week then); but I can do that after the run, too.

Otherwise, I could do some "gather information" legwork, see if I can find out anything about her usual hangouts and such.

I think the twins are going to try the astral fly by and see what we can find out about her home and her if possible. We are thinking in the evening or early morning (think 3 AM) to try and stealth up then poke around her house. That's the rough outline for now. After that it would be summoning and binding some spirits just in case. I'll talk with Fenris later today and get some posts up with rolls and all that.

Our weekly total is 132.

Astral -- I'll need to know how close you are getting to the physical location before Astral Projection. Infiltration test if you are sneaking. Three Astral Perception tests. Also are you going to be possessed when approaching and while you are out is the spirit left there?

Bishop - Given the scattered nature of our data, Buddha and I were thinking we'd do the summoning now, waiting for the tech part of the legwork to get us a little more data on the specifics of her location, then do the astral snooping once we don't have to leave ourselves hanging out there as long.

I'll toss up Summoning rolls once I coordinate with Buddha, but this way you're welcome to move forward, nothing we do should hamper the movement of the thread until we get more data and head out for our recon.

Oy! My apologies you all. I should have told you earlier I was getting swamped IRL.

@Bishop: Butterfly, will start with finding a T-bird for transport, details to be provided by Papa. If no details, then I'll get one for the next week and ready to go anywhere on the continent. Yeah it's expensive. I'll answer papa IC and figure out the rest of my legwork after morning rituals today.

@Redjack: that was what you had in mind, right? The T-bird being ready to go right when we got done with the job?

Siren would start to acquaint herself with the area where our target is living. Find some spots to hangout and carefully try to get some information about her, if possible, or otherwise just fit in for now, which could be useful later.

Isn't it 5S? I think you took your own Binding roll to determine the damage. wink.gif

The drain from the binding test is increased by 50%, Fenris did the math correctly. 4 hits to resist becomes 8S, plus 50% is 12S, minus 3 on the Drain test leaves 9S.

Siren won't be getting too close to her office/home for now. Maybe close enough once to get a look at it from the distance, but not into direct vincinity.

I also have a question about Possession (just out of curiosity, since I am not generally using that stuff).

The Force is added to physical attributes of the vessel... is that on top of the usual augmented limit? i.e. a human could have Reaction 9 + Force (in the case of a F8 Great Form up to +12 with enough hits on Invoking)? Or is the limit the vessel's augmented limit, i.e. 9 for a human all things included?

Appearance: Style for look and clothes is sort of stuck up trendy, but done on a budget. She's pretentious and wanna be hipster and wears sunglasses even though its nighttime (I think its nighttime)

Going to use Rover SUV to drive in.
I think we're walking around Fun City when we get there. Is it a theme park like Disneyland and we have to pay to get in or is it a large collection of shops attractions and malls that you can walk around without paying an entry fee?

Can I also scan the matrix for noteworthy nodes or chat up some guards for information? How do I do it surreptitiously?
