JxJxA--After the first round of bartering is wrapped up, we'll call it an hour and the stun is gone.
JxJxA
Cool, sounds good.
Redjack
So sorry guys. I've been out of town; Meetings all day, dinner with the team, catch up work email from the day before starting all over again. All my games are lagging...

I won't be out of town this week, so hopefully I'll be able to post in a few times.
JxJxA
Any of you Troll Market experts know what that fog is?
BishopMcQ
Hey guys, just checking in with everyone. It's been awhile since I've seen Fenris post.

There are two open questions from Uetz -- Assensing the blood and what is the fog.

Are people waiting on me for items?
Buddha72
Sorry I have been lagging behind so here's some rolls to figure out the fog:

Troll Market + Intuition
6,3,6,4,1,5,1,6 (4 hits)

Metaplanar Traits + Logic
5,6,5,3,2 (3 hits)
JxJxA
Thanks Bishop. I'm still waiting for the first round of bargaining to end until I start taking any more actions so that the stun wears off.
BishopMcQ
Buddha:
Troll Market - Nothing in D'zan's experience or knowledge about the Troll Market matches this phenomena. It generally exists outside of time as far as dawn and dusk are considered.

Metaplanar Traits - There are many traits which can cause weather changes. It could be caused by a metaplanar convergence, a powerful entity such as a Dead God or Archfey extending its influence, or the will of mortal caster if the effect is localized.
BishopMcQ
JxJxA--At this point, the first round of merchants is over. You're free to move about the marketplace. smile.gif
Redjack
Sorry for the scarcity. Between work and teaching a class this semester, it has been crazy.
BishopMcQ
All--Please keep talking amongst yourselves, I'm just moving the scenery to the next step.
Buddha72
What skills can we roll to look for the oracle?
BishopMcQ
D'zan can roll Perception to look for the landmark that he was given. Others can as well, if he shares the info.

All others who speak Sperethiel or Or'zet can go with Perception to see if any of the signs say it. You can also try Etiquette/Negotiation to talk with folks.
Buddha72
Ok edited post to pass along the intel - sorry about that.

Perception
4,5,2,1,5,4,6 (3 hits)

I speak Sperethiel and Or'zet of course. smile.gif
Fenris
Or'zet here!

Intuition(4) - 1 (untrained) (3d6.hits(5)=2)
BishopMcQ
Perception Tests to get more detail about the Glyph.
JxJxA
Uetz doesn't know either of those languages and has know background with the Troll Market, so he'll be relying on the experts for any info on this place.

On another note, if anyone needs anything translated into Nahuatl...let me know. nyahnyah.gif
BishopMcQ
To clarify, examining the glyph doesn't need any of the languages.
JxJxA
Cool, then I'll try:

Perception(2) + Intuition(3) = 5d6 for 1 hit.
JxJxA
I'm apologizing in advance of any repercussions from saying that, but Uetz can't read any of those languages. rotate.gif
Buddha72
Leo's Perception
5,4,2,4,4,3,5,2,4,6,1,5,1,3 (4 hits)

D'zan's Perception
6,6,4,2,4,6,4 (4 hits)

What skills to figure out what "Hastur" means?
BishopMcQ
Metaplanar Threats, Dead Gods, Arcana (Active Skill), Folklore could all apply.
JxJxA
Arcana check to figure out what "Hastur" is/means:
Logic(3) + Arcana(3) = 6d6 for 3 hits.
BishopMcQ
JxJxA--From an Arcana standpoint, Hastur is one of the words of power that can be used during rituals to further empower rituals. It is often used by non-Awakened individuals in Calling and Binding rituals. It is believed that an actual entity known as Hastur may exist and funnel its power into the Sixth World through use of its name.
Redjack
Or'zet check: [2,2,3,6,1,6,1,3,5] = 3 hits

Perception Test: [2,2,5,4,1,3,6,1,5] = 3 hits

Wow! This game picked up all the sudden. I'll try to keep up better. wink.gif
BishopMcQ
Should I push on to the oracle that people spotted, or are people still intrigued with the statue?
JxJxA
I'm for pushing onwards.
Redjack
Working on a post now.
Redjack
Composure Test(2) = Willpower(3) + Charisma(2) [5,6,3,3,5] = 3 hits
Buddha72
Push on good man!
BishopMcQ
As a reminder, there are Social Skills--while I prefer roleplaying through things, if you want to simply throw Negotiation dice at the problem you can. Others can do a teamwork test with appropriate knowledge skills for other things to offer.

Arcana for chaffering/Calling. Metaplanar Threats, Metaplanar Oracles, Troll Market, if you think something else could apply, feel free to toss it in there.

Or you could try and take the oracle to the matresses...
JxJxA
I'll try an arcana check just to help Uetz figure out what exactly he's dealing with in the oracle, and then try social stuff from there. I'm inclined to take a backseat/supporting role in the negotiation because I'm new and also it looks like the troll market savvy PCs are doing a good job of navigating us around.

Arcana:
Logic(3) + Arcana(3) = 6d6 for 1 hit.
BishopMcQ
JxJxA--The exact type of creature is hard to determine, though Uetz recognizes the effect of the area as a confluence--a place where multiple realities (planes) touch. That would account for all of the voices being whispered into this place.
BishopMcQ
Hey all--To check, is anyone waiting on me for answers?
Buddha72
Sorry here are some skill rolls for me

Troll Market
4,4,3,6,6,4,5,6 (4 hits)

Arcana
6,4,1,5,5,6 (4 hits)
BishopMcQ
Buddha--Are those rolls looking for specific information, or teamwork tests for another person's Negotiation? If specific info, can you let me know what D'zan is looking for?
JxJxA
I'm good, and I'll try to keep the IC thread afloat. At this point, though, I don't think it's Uetz's turn to take the lead.
Buddha72
Troll Market to see what D'zan knows about this place/things and Arcana for what to offer or the dealmaking.
BishopMcQ
Buddha:
Troll Market--D'zan is not very familiar with this creature specifically. This area of the Troll Market is known for diviners who are much more accurate than those in the main part of the market. Their talent comes with eccentricity and a higher price. Most of the creatures here exist outside of the normal flow of time, even the odd flow of time which the metaplanes lend. It has been rumored that several of the oracles exist in multiple places in different planes, to aspect their divinations to bypass protections.

Arcana--This creature is probably looking to extend its influence. Information or secrets could be useful offers. Alternatively, something to bring information to it about things that it cannot know. Given the theme, and your familiarity with the Sidhe, it is likely that it is limited by darkness and shadow.
Fenris
Okay, so, what factors in? I've got a charisma of 5, Negotiate at 5, First Impression, and Trustworthy. I want to try and control this deal, since we've made so many questionable ones so far biggrin.gif

BishopMcQ
Fenris--Go with what you have listed there and a -1 modifier (Argent lacks the background knowledge, but the result is advantageous to NPC). Pheromones, if any, do not apply.

All--Now would be the time to throw those teamwork dice if you want to. Each character can pick one skill to use. Hits will provide Argent with bonus dice up to his Skill (5).

Redjack--Does Papa have Matrix Theory, Matrix Phenomena, etc?
Redjack
What timing! I sit down to work on a post and what a perfect time.
Computer Theory R3 [1,4,4,5,2,5,4,1,5,2,4] = 3 hits

BishopMcQ
Redjack--There are theories surrounding the Crash 2.0 that using VR in certain conditions, your consciousness travels into the nodes. This is based on the vegetative state that many of people were trapped in after the IPO. It's possible that the "thing" could travel with your mind in the Matrix in those conditions.
BishopMcQ
Fenris--I'll give today for any extra dice that your team wants to throw in there for you. (Edge will refresh when you return home and can get a good night's rest.)

Team--Throw out the Teamwork dice if you want to help. You can give Fenris up to five extra dice.
Buddha72
I will use my Troll Market skill (how to get deals here, etc) so that's 8 dice - how the hell do I do a teamwork test? smile.gif
BishopMcQ
Basically, you throw the dice. Hits on your test will provide bonus dice to Argent's roll. The only downside to Teamwork tests is that Glitches on your side can affect his roll.
JxJxA
I can try Arcana if you guys want me to risk it. I have 6 dice I can throw at it.
Buddha72
Troll Market
3,4,5,5,5,5,1,6 (5 hits)
BishopMcQ
GM rolling the bonus dice for Argent 5d6.hits(5)=2.
