Looks like Papa is in. Once someone picks up the rock you can start asking questions. Remember anyone is allowed to ask questions, presuming they stick to the basic premise of what was negotiated--questions about the job, the changes at the Market, and why the Hunter is interested in the Mortal realms.

Redjack--Papa does not see any other stones. It appears that the only one is the one Argent has in his pocket.

I'm going to let Buddha take the lead on this, since D'zan and Leo have had the most interaction with the Hunter and his plane. All Uetz really saw was the flickers of change in his spirit

Works for me. Does the team want to throw out a list of questions to make sure their stuff gets put in the queue by Buddha?
Leo--Besides the change in Argent's eyes, there is a very minor shift in the color of his hair. It is about half a shade darker.

Augh, I didn't even think about giving Uetz knowledge in Aztec lore. Is it okay if I spend some karma to increase it to 2 or 3 right now?

JxJxA--Go for it.
JxJxA
Mar 30 2011, 09:18 PM
Okay, my excel sheet is being funky and doesn't recognize karma spent on knowledge skills, so I'm going to transfer stuff over to another character creator. Just as a reminder for me, I'm spending 7 karma to give myself a rating of 3 in Aztec lore.

Fenris--
The East Hills of Hollywood form the natural barrier from what used to be downtown Hollywood (which is now completely underwater) and Pasadena. Northern Hollywood was shaken quite badly by the quakes, but avoided the flooding which devastated the southern half. There are caves in the hills which connect to the underwater complexes, but they have never been successfully mapped.

Redjack--There were several development proposals for this region before the flooding, which were all scrapped as resources went to shoring up the city and containing everything. UCLA has published several geologic survey treatises about the cave system in the hills, which seemingly sprang into existence when all of the caves beneath LA showed up. Abstracts basically say they don't know, but have several firm theories that it may be magical in nature. The area is technically patrolled by PuebSec under their global PCC contract, but it is for the most part uninhabited and monitored through unmanned systems.

Uetz is going to try a cure disease/heal spell on Etain for the rash. I never wrote them up as characters, so should I assume 1-2 points of Essence drain for random bioware/cyberware? Anything in here considered a pollutant? If so, I'm suffering from mild allergy effects.
Also, are there any raw chickens in the house? Were they playing chicken ball a la Aqua Teen Hunger Force?
BishopMcQ
Apr 28 2011, 01:04 AM
JxJxA--There are pollutants present in the area. No raw chickens. Uetz will know that anytime there is damage, social unrest, or discontent within the house or the surrounding several blocks, Etain gets emotionally shaken, and can begin showing signs of a rash or worse based on the nature of the damage.
Presume 1 pt of Essence loss for Etain.
JxJxA

Cool.

Casting heal on Etain.
Heal spell on Etain's rash:
Magic (5) + Spellcasting(4) + Power Focus(2) - Allergy(2) - Essence Loss(1) =
8d6 for 2 hits.
Resisting drain: DV = Phys Damage - 2

10d6 for 1 hit.

Sorry for the blackout all - dads are back and I am (relatively) kid free! I think we should clean up the trashed pad, see what we ca find out about the woman and start the hunt on the closest object. Just saying.

No worries, since this is my batch of rowdy friends that crashed the pad this time,
