I have a question though, my LE is in an order that includes Vice. Now I beleive Vice is still -on hold-, so that means my LE won't ship, how do I go about getting Vice removed from the order? (should I just send you a PM in this siutation like you suggested) I see people have been having trouble contacting battleshop with orders ect, so who in your opinion is the best person/way to contact someone and get this resolved? I don't want to wait for the issues with Vice to subside and have my LE not delivered.
Please correct me if I'm incorrect about Vice though.

Jason: could you post any info you get here as well? I suspect there are others in that situation (SR4LE + Vice order).

Hopefully the issues with Vice will be resolved before the LEs go out. But go ahead and PM me--I'll check on the order and provide more information that way.

I'm not sure of the time difference between the warehouse and Newcastle, Australia. It is close to midday here on the 14th April.

This makes me feel very comfortable with out national security. "Hey look, there's something about this container that is calling for us to x-ray it, should we do that here in LA?" "Nah, put it on a train, send it across the country, and then do it in New York."

Since it went from LA before heading east there is a very good chance that it passed by the tracks a mile from my place. So close, yet so far! Now it has to go to NY, then back to Indiana, then to who knows where, so it can get back to me in California.

Okay I ran my fortnightly session last night, and a player that works at the FLGS said he had received an email/letter/call (I dont remember which) from his suppliers saying that their LE orders were put on hold, due to the recent going ons with Catalyst, and will be till its sorted out.

Now fortunately my order is directly through Battleshop.. Am I (and I'm sure many other dumpshockers) affected, or is this an isolated issue?

The LEs should not be on hold. I can't explain the actions of different distributors, though.

Will the hardcopy be the same as the PDF? I ask because I noticed that AH has a story on his site (Happy Trails) that appears in the PDF version of the book. Given some of the issues involved, did that survive to print?

Rumors are that the LE are still in costums. Reason is unknown, maybe CGL cannot pay the costum toll or there is an investigation againt CGL so that their assets are being hold.

What source is that? It sounds like cynical speculation. Not saying you aren't reporting what you heard, but I question the source.

Here's the deal: the Limited Editions exist. They were printed and they were shipped. There is no reason that they should not be in peoples' hands already.

They have been locked in customs for some time. More than a week. There is now open speculation as to what the fuck has happened to them. Theories include "IMR is flagged by the FBI" and "IMR is flagged by Homeland Security" and "IMR has lost its business license" and "IMR has had inventory seized by the IRS." As you can surmise, most of the speculation tends to run towards the "Loren Coleman is in trouble with the government" what with all the stealing and the fact that the government isn't releasing a shipping container full of Catalyst stuff.

The LEs should not be on hold. I can't explain the actions of different distributors, though.

I have been told that the LEs are in the warehouse. Definitive information should be coming from Randall as Jason posted above. The normal process would be:
-- the books arrive in the warehouse via container (T day)
-- the books are unloaded and sorted (T+3 days)
-- the books get shipped to the CGL office for BattleShop pre-orders (T+8 days)
-- the books are received, packed up individually, and shipped out (T+ 12 days)
-- customers receive their order (T+ 13-19 days based on locality and shipping method)

The LEs have made progress. I'm told definitive information will be posted by Randall today or tomorrow. I will bug him to make sure that happens.

At least we finally have a light at the end of the tunnel. And I got a free PDF (I used that very nice $10 discount on the Eclipse Phase book/PDF combo).

At this point the light is either the day, or a train.

How did you get a free PDF?

Two or three months ago, CGL sent out a coupon code for $10 off a BattleShop order to people who had preordered the SR4A LE, by way of apologizing for the delay. Like I said, I bought the Eclipse Phase book/PDF combo (the EP PDF being only $10 rather than $15 like other PDFs), so I essentially got a free PDF of Eclipse Phase to pass around to my friends, plus the lovely dead-tree edition for my shelf (and hopefully eventually to actually play with).
