Nikoli
Glancing at the card and storing the location on the orientation system.
"When are we to neat our mew tsukaite?"
Murrey then bows politely to Stephan.
To the others in the room,
"Will anyone treed nansportation?"
Buddha72
Murrey

As you glance at the card you can see printed on one side is "ACTION DECKER" with an LTG on it. As you flip it over you see a an address for a corner that is located in Redmond.
Blitz
:: Moira slips the small card into her small ornamental purse and rises with the rest. ::

"No thank you, I drove myself here. I also have room for others if carpooling is a necessity."
Fenris
Bakatare rises, sliding the card into another of the concealed pockets as he nods towards Moira.

"I would be honored to travel with you, if possible."
Blitz
:: Moira nods. ::

"Who will be calling our...Action Decker?"
Grey
"I got a ride for me and my friend."

At Moira's question... "A better question, who will be our Face?"
Nikoli
Addressing his fellow runners, "If I may? A group of cars, heaving lear and heading directly into Redmond would be suspiscious to say the least. I suggest that we park our vehicles in a parking garage, I can then provide inclusive transportation that will more easily blend in or at least not draw as many eyes, while providing more than a bit of protection, privacy, and a more professional image."
Grey
Not exactly liking the idea of being without his Steed, Paladin asks, "Exactly what kind of transportation are we talking about here?"
Nikoli
"A well armed GMC and at weast one lell armed drone that will be deployed to watch our backs."
Blitz
"Im fine with that arraingment."
Fenris
"It does seem more sensible then a caravan through the Barrens. Of course, it also makes us a single target."

Glancing at the rest of the group with a slightly cocked brow, he looks to Moira.

"I'm assuming the job of negotiations will be regulated to either you or I. Would you prefer to handle them?"
Grey
"Hey, ah... What the hell are all your names anyway? You can call me Paladin."

At the mention of his name, you quickly realize who he is. The name has floated around the streets for the past few years as a guy not to mess with. He has big connections with the Ork Underground and has been known to head up security for them from time to time. What he is most known for is being the one to hunt down the Redmond Reaper, a mass-murderer who had escaped police for over three years. There are also a few rumors that he has been involved with (more than once some say) taking out Bug Hives that try to start up within the sprawl.
Nikoli
"Just mall key Murrey."
Blitz
:: Moira nods to Bakatare. ::

"I'd be happy to do so."

:: Turning to the rest of the group she smiles. ::

"Im known as Moira."
Fenris
Stepping up just behind Moira's shoulder, he nods slightly to the rest of the group again.

"Bakatare. Moira, if you would call our "Action Decker", perhaps we can finalize the details of this arrangement tonight. I do believe there was some mention of a time priority."
Digital Heroin
`You say it's well armed, I say you've got the right idea. Nice and roomy too.`

Immortal takes a long draw off his cigarillo.

`Folks got to calling my Immortal 'few years back, damned if I care what you call me.`
Blitz
:: Moira raises a single eyebrow at Immortal as she extracts a cell phone from her purse. She dials it with the thumb of that hand and then turns slightly from the group as she waits for an answer. People always tended to stare at someone when they made a call and she still felt uncomfortable being scrutinized so obviously. ::
Buddha72
Moira

The phone rings three times and its picked up. "Ib here, who's this?" The voice sounds young, it has a forced and tight cheerfulness to it. The sound goes muffled, like a hand has been placed over the receiver. "O-Girl!! Don't touch that!" You hear another voice answer but can't make out the words. "Sorry about that, you were answering?"
Blitz
"Good evening. I represend your new assets."

:: Moira takes on a neutral tone, her deep alto voice is quiet and smooth as silk. ::
Buddha72
"Great. Did Stefan give you the address where I'm at?" In the background you hear something being moved around, maybe furniture or large crates.
Blitz
"He did, indeed. We are coordinating transportation to the site as we speak."
Buddha72
"Excellent. I wouldn't eat anything first unless you have a strong stomach. I am at the site now, when you arrive head to the back of the building on the east corner. In the back will be a fire escape ladder, climb to the 3rd floor and enter through the window. I'm there now. Any questions?"
Blitz
:: Moira shakes her head, an unconscious gesture that is lost on the recepient since there is no video feed on the phone. ::

"No. That's all we need. We can save questions for the face to face."
Buddha72
"Then get your asses moving.' With that the phone line goes dead.
Blitz
:: She closes the phone and turns to look back at the group. ::

"Well, we best get moving. She's expecting us, and I have a feeling we're going to be greeted by a gory mess. Hope you've all got empty stomaches."
Nikoli
"Than I suggest that we adjourn from our kind host and make haste to Johnny's Bucking fest Parking deck in Snohomish. I can arrange for transportation from there to the mext neat."
Grey
"Girl, even if it wasn't, I've seen my share of gore before. I know a spot near the Redmond border where I'd like to leave my ride, I'll call you when I'm there and let you know to get me and Immortal."

Paladin stands, gives Immortal a nod for him to follow and heads out the door.

((ooc: If we didn't exchange phone numbers yet, he gets numbers before leaving))
Nikoli
Murrey gives you a LTG, "No phone, only a gaper."
Blitz
:: Moira gives the number from her current phone to the group before turning to Bakatare. ::

"Shall we?"

:: She leads him out of the club at to the well maintained Mitsubishi Eclipse. It's a few years old, but the black paint job seems relatively new and it's older style curves suit her tastes better than the more angular current model. ::
Nikoli
Murrey waits until all have left, then leaves the club, retrieving the checked items then exits to the Elite. Instructing the car to proceed to the parking garage, Murrey saves the sensor logs to chip and pockets it, then Murrey checks to see if the mysterious tracking device was ativated, and where the activation signal came from.
Buddha72
Murrey
The signal doesn't seem to have been sent out yet.
Nikoli
Once within the 40 km range of the house, Murrey will switch the Elite to autopilot and take control of the van, bringing it to the parking garage; aiming to have it arrive a few moments after the team is parked and waiting.
Blitz
:: Once outside, Moira stands on the street corner for a moment, her eyes close and her face upturned instinctively towards the moon. For a moment, the moonlight rejoices in her daughter and a glowing white aura dazzles around her. A slight breeze ruffles her hair slightly but dies as she reopens her eyes to smile at the small astral being that sits before her. ::

"Please guard us as we drive, and report any astral followers you may see."

Grey
Once he and Immortal are on the road, he glances over at his and asks, "So what do ya think of things so far? A few of em seem way to fraggin' stuffy, but at least they appear to be pros.

Oh, and the lot the guy named has an Underground enterance nearby, so if things go bad, we can get down there quickly and it makes for getting my ride back easily in case drek goes bad on the job."
Fenris
Bakatare stood to one side, eyes slightly unfocused as he watched the threads Moira weaved. There was always something joyous and unfettered in her magic, such a contradiction to the cold lines of logic and formula he used to manipulate the strands.

A quick command brought the stable of elementals he maintained into the astral space around him, flaring trails of mana trailing each form as they clustered around, awaiting commands. He left them there for the moment, preferring to have his tools close at hand.

He took one last look around before stepping into Moira's car, one last check for anything out of place.
Buddha72
Moira

Wisp of moonlight pool together from the air around you. A tall, well formed man steps from the light. His eyes clouded and unreadable. I will do so but beware the night swells with blood and pain. I see throats cut and hear screams cut short. The Tower of Light has its guards out, war rests heavy in the air. The spirit looks at the club but seems to peer deeper and darker.
Buddha72
Bakatare

With a blur, the gateways to the deeper astral realms, your elementals surge around you. Once again their many whispers flood into your mind, a chorus of voices. We hear your call and come as the old laws demand. Give us your will so we may carry it out. You sense a thread on unease ripple through them as they await your direction.
Blitz
:: Moira's pauses as her eyebrows slightly furrow. She glances over her shoulder at the club, then shifts to the astral, trying to see any telltale sign of that which the spirit speaks of. ::
Buddha72
Moira

As you shift to the astral, you see the exterior of the club swarming with small astral forms. They dart in and out of the building. It's hard to get an accurate count since they move so quickly. You can see heavy threads of mana being weaved around the building, a great work of some type.

Bakatare

You feel the pull on the flows of mana around you. You turn and see it being drawn into the area around the club. The complexity of the weaves are breath taking. You are witnessing a ritual work of some kind.
Blitz
:: Moira's voice whispers out towards Bakatare. ::

"I believe we have involved ourselves in dangerous events. Let us hope that we will be able to solve this matter before that danger comes to a head."
Fenris
Bakatare's sigh is restrained and resigned, the sigh of one who, despite all efforts to the contrary, always seems to find himself crossing the event horizon into the black hole of the weirdest magical shit.

"It appears we have. I'm curious to know how the Changelings are involved in all of this. Shall we go?"
Blitz
:: Moira simply nods as she enters the car. ::
Digital Heroin
`They've got the look, which is what I'm iffy about. They're trying to hard to pretend anyone's a pro at this drek.`

He scratches at his chin, and looks out the window at the passing streets.

`It's good to have the backup plan. Hell I'd wire the place to blow if I had the gear, just in case.`

Not to mention the skill.
Buddha72
As you all travel through the Seattle, you watch the city move all around you. As you cross into Redmond, the dark underbelly of the metroplex, you feel the pull of the area. The slow seeping poison, the bleakness that is seen on every person's face as you drive. The area was once prosperous until the Crash of 2029, almost overnight it became a refuge to the homeless and hopeless. It now looks like a working girl long past her prime.

You arrive at the address on the card and see the building. It looks to be an old office complex, about 6 stories tall though only the bottom 4 look complete. Seeing that there is no room for any mid-size vehicle to make it to the back, you all head out on foot for the rear. As you all move towards the back of the building, people begin to step out of the various shadows and pockets of debris. They move like a pack of rabid animals, desperate for food. There looks to be about 8 of them. All their faces are lean and gaunt.
Grey
Paladin shifts his sinces to the Astral, taking a look at them.
Buddha72
Paladin

You can see the waves of anger and need roll off of them. The area has a haze of emotions layered over it. The tones seem subdued and pained. Your keen vision also takes in the building. The 3rd floor a tortured mess on the astral. It looks like a gaping wound with fear, rage, and hunger laced through it. The air around it is a miasma, the features of the building in the real world are almost completely obscured.
Fenris
Lip curling in an unconcious reaction to the hate and fear that rolls off of the crowd and the area, he quells the thrumming of the elementals still hovering around him with a thought.

He shifts the grip on the short staff in his hand, feeling it's power surge under his fingers and mingle in with his own as he wills it to life, looking to Moira as the speaker for the group.
Grey
Paladin eyes them all, taking in the situation. "Stop, all of you, right now! This is not a fight you want to get involved with. I don't know what you have gone through, but I can see your hunger. If I had food, I could freely give it to you. However, if you choose to continue..."

His Bo Staff whirls around him in a display of fantastic skill as he takes on a fighting stance, “…I will not hesitate to lay you out and leave you for the streets to claim.”
Buddha72
Paladin

The crowd seems to fold back into its self. They all cringe from the display. The people shift back into the landscape. You feel the tension break as the will of the mob snaps against the stronger need for survival.

Bakatare

The area around the 3rd floor brings tears to your eyes and a twist to your gut. The area looks savaged and torn. You can see threads of terror, hunger and rage.
Grey
Paladin keeps his stance, ready in case action becomes necessary. He turns his head to look at the group and speaks softly, "Something very bad happened here. And we are headed into the depths of it..."

He slowly begins to move forward into the alley that would lead around to the back of the building. He eyes the urchins as he moves past them, making sure none of them make a move. Just as he is passing one, he stops and considers something, then looks down at the gaunt individual and asks, "Tell me, what happened up there?" He gestures towards the 3rd floor of the building.
