It is possible to beat them there if Willie does some fancy driving but you'll have to forgo the O.U. for the time being if you want to win all five challenges.

I didn't realize taking video of the slaughter was not enough. Can we just say Smiley grabbed a few items on his way back to the vehicle? It would save Willie from having to interrupt his awesome driving to go back.

Decision time then. Trolls or Orks? I also didn't think we would have time to get to the trolls before the other team, as we have done two other legs of the mission in the same time. Maybe Mulcarn is looking to set up some real competition for us?

So do we seal a safe win with doing the Orks first, or go for broke and try to beat the other team to the trolls? I don't know how we would interact with that team while still taking on the trolls. It could be a very tricky situation that could turn sour and disqualify us.

I guess it boils down to whether the overlap of objectives is complete. If it is, we have all but won already. Hence a safe win. If it isn't, and the other team has just the trolls in common with us, they could still win five and beat us. We're operating in the dark here.

I'm not narrow-minded. It doesn't have to be a head. It could be a disemboweled torso too. We could insert a rod up the spinal column, and spin it around like a weathervane.

Subspecies? Not a big deal, but one should have a reason. Random violence is boring. Directed, purposeful violence makes sense.

I was thinking of turning you into a decoration like on pirate ships to warn our enemies of danger. You could even throw spells or spirits from there.

Aiming for admin level access, so need a total of 10 hits.

Second Attempt = 3 hits, 8 total
Third Attempt = 2 hits, 10 total

Their commlink can make three rolls to try and detect me, threshold of 7 hits needed to set off an alarm.

Hmmmm.... what will it be like to be with a GM who has been to Hell and back?

Spent a good portion of my time learning and reading different horror stories. Replayed a few old PS1/GBA games to give me some ideas on plot hooks and such as well. I can already picture events unfolding that will take you down the rabbit hole, and even further.

OK, so to keep the conversation going, here are a few ideas for magical effects that may or may not help:

Increase Charisma: make Smiley even more lovable than he already is!

Stunball: I bet they are all in a small group

Influence: .... make Smiley even more believable than he already is!

Magic Fingers: just lift the tags off one by one

Improved Invisibility: not sure, but I always liked it

Detect Magic: suss out what's what

Analyze Truth: 'cause we aren't the only ones who lie

Kinesics: Wow, Smiley really -is- believable and lovable!

I kind of want to see how a super-powered Smiley will charm the badges off them. One or another, it's bound to be amusing. My vote is for Charisma and Influence.

Been kinda quiet guys and gals. Waiting on anything from me?

I don't really have much more from them at the current time, in game at least.

Can't speak for others, but at this point I'm waiting for the arrival-at-the-underground action. So far Kathy's just riding wherever Willy's driving is taking her.

Did they detect my attempts to hack their comms? Am I in quietly and able to start my mischief?
