Sorry, have been swamped lately and will continue to be swamped for quite some time. Pfft. Why is it that tertiary institutes give assignments in packs and set deadlines at almost impossible timings?!
I just dropped a superflash in front of their face. Theodor doesn't know what they are, but if physical damage doesn't work on them light is the ONLY possible thing that will.
Somebody make a description check, please?
Simple action: DROP Superflash grenade. (No rolling necessary)
Simple action: RUN AWAY!!!

Base damage of 15D, so that'll be a 15D+++++++++++++ - resist that ugly!
And here's a Knowledge roll of Paranormal Creatures (Spirits) 2/4 roll - you can ignore the last two rolls if they somehow turn out to NOT be spirits.
1: 6 + 1 = 7.

Paranormal Threats roll:
[ Spoiler ]
They appear to resemble what you've heard about a special form of critter known as the Brocken Bow. They usually emanate auras of cold like these seem to be doing. They appear at night and dissapear at dusk. They are allergic to sunlight and are fond of draining essence from their victims. They also seem to have immunity to normal weapons.
These particular bows seem different somehow. The red eyes must be new. And the room of shadows you've never heard about.

All three remaining Faders will attempt a melee attack on their corresponding targets. They all have a reach of 1 but they close in (what was that martial arts technique again? well, it's not MA here, but they surround you and the effect is about the same. reach is negated for both sides). They only have the chance to activate their cold aura now.
Fader 2 targets Roland:
10 net successes. Base 6M Stun. If you are hit (even with no damage), your quickness drops by 7 (paralyzing touch power). If it hits 0 or below, you're paralyzed and cannot move, as well as cannot breath. Either way, the fader has engaged you in melee, so you need to resist 7M physical cold elemental damage (9M if he hits you, even with no damage). Impact armour applies, you may soak with CP but not dodge this cold aura power.
Fader 3 targets Downtown:
Same as above, except 1 net successes. (not a typo)
Fader 5 targets Theodor:
Same as above, except 10 net successes.

Ahoy, I'm kinda back. So what situation are we in? Should I roll for stun too or am I in the back of the party and can now act... Though I don't know what I could do to help.
edit: Oh here's something to get the ball rolling. I take aim and shoot one of the faders, a burst from my AR. normal rounds. character not with me right now, I'm assuming rolling of five dice for skill, no combat pool usage.
You asked for 5 rolls and your target is unknown ... here are the results:
1: 6 + 4 = 10.
2: 6 + 4 = 10.
3: 4
4: 1
5: 3

I've decided to drop the game. My apologies to the few who have stuck with the game and posted regularly, but the rest of you...ugh. Originally I didn't mind coming back everyday despite a busy schedule to update it. When people started leaving...and now almost nobody continues with any sort of passion or dedication. Case in point, I give you a simple battle, or some simple damage to dodge and absorb. It takes forever. Some people I have to get on a messenger program to tell them something up. And even when I ask them nicely to roll, some don't even bother to post the result here. And I keep seeing messages like "What happened to so-and-so?" which is telling me I'm flogging a dead horse.
That's it. I've reached burnout. Frankly speaking, I'm sick of inactivity, no matter what or how valid your damn reason is. Ever wonder why I specified players need to be active in their posting at the recruitment topic? You've all killed the game, so I hope you're happy. It's over. End of story.

I was under the impression that the game was dying. Kadel was the only one who was responded quickly. The rest of you posted like once or twice a week on average. Not what I wanted when I started the game.
Now, I don't mind continuing. In fact I'm surprised people are enjoying themselves.
So here's something I propose: If you are having fun, I won't spoil that fun. Everyone who is willing and able to continue (I STRESS the able part. I want activity, 5 posts a week...although I'm a bit more realistic now, and a bit weary. I'll adjust my post rate to reach yours. You want a fast game, you post fast. You want to slack it off, I'll do the same)...
...anyway, if you want to continue, PM me and I'll set up a new game with the interested people working in the same team.
If I don't get any people PMing me, then the game will die. Nobody will say I didn't try my best to provide.
