Given the option I'll gun it for the alley and evade like mad with the ultimate goal of winding up in Redmond (we can't be all that far if we're in Bellevue).
However, I was under the impression we had chosen the T-intersection with the disabled camera and was unaware that it had an alley we could use.

Pragma:
there was an L intersection, but not a T. You stopped the van where it was preparing to slow down to turn the corner. Then, at George's request, you turned the car around, so you are now headed back the direction the Van came, (which is towards the highway)
Sorry if this wasn't clear, but Area #1 and Area #2 are along the same route, about 1000 to 1200 meters away from each other. so you still have access to that alley way.

In which case, the decision above stands; head for the alley and then for Redmond. Ideally avoiding highways -- police seem to be pretty good at tailing people on those.

As mentioned IC -- looking for a roof.

Quick question: what did we loot from the van exactly?
Glyph
Feb 19 2007, 01:50 AM
The other stuff was optical chips and manila envelopes, so probably paydata, mostly. If there is any hermetic library stuff in there, Caitlin might ask to get a copy first. She also has a decker and a fixer among her contacts, if needed for evaluating and selling the loot.

Well Markus grabbed the Assault rifle not sure if anyone took anything else?
Gonna be a bit hard to get away for him, considering he's wearing security armor you don't just walk around in the stuff
Probably have to ditch the rifle hard to conceal it.

We do have a lot of duffels. We could just take pieces of the armor and split it between diffeent bags.

George's plan is to get to the nearest bus/train/subway station, rent two or three lockers and leave most of his gear stashed in them. He'll then get himself a coffin in some motel, and lay low for a 2 or 3 days. He'll then go back to Bellevue, get his bike, go back to get his gear, and go home.

I should warn you that your loot (besides the optical chip you were paid to grab) is of value based on timeliness. Just for you to keep in mind if you guys go underground for 2 to 3 days before resurfacing to fence the loot.

Don't know if the computer trickery I outlined in the last IC post is possible but I don't think it requires either a deck or any programs. Let me know if it doesn't fly and I need to change the IC.
Possibly appropriate rolls:
Computer Background: dice = 6 || target = ? :: 11 4 3 5 10 16
Comptuer + Task Pool: dice = 9 || target = ? :: 5 4 3 5 4 5 3 3 3

I've pretty much done all I needed to do. As I said; George is going to stash his gear in a locker, rent a coffin, and wait for Cortex to tell him he can upload the data. Once Cortex gives him the call, George will get in touch with Miron to fence the data.

Feb 22 2007, 06:07 AM
Caitlin, likewise, will do little other than lay low for a few days, although she will let Hobbes and Spindler both know about Russ. After they fence the data, she will plan her next moves (depending on how quickly the situation with Russ gets resolved, and whether there is any further sign of Dassurn continuing to search for them).

Caitlin give me a roll for street etiquette for Spindler.
George, Please give me a street etiquette roll for Miron. You are looking for TN (6). Ordinarily you could assign successes to either speed or bankroll, in this case the street price for stock certificates and bearer bonds is relatively static, and the adjustment will be based on how quickly you can get them into circulation. so all successes will be assigned to speed. Note the fencing rules allow for cooperative etiquette (street) rolls, if you want additional members of the team to help you, I will take the average etiquette roll, with a +1 for each member helping out, but all members must attend a meet.
