Two Decrypt + Response (12, 1 Combat Turn) Extended Tests if you want. Not a huge problem, but you can always glitch.
After that it would be you estimate a Data Search + Browse (16 , 1 minute) to work with the results. Extended test capped by Browse program rating.

Just want to be clear, the areas do have nodes and wireless traffic, just not as much since it's just the internal traffic for the hotel itself mostly.
COmpared to outside it's several orders of magnitud less traffic though.

Ok, just some internal thoughts and stuff that Hikaru is having. She doesn't even think about looking for any clues or whatnot, annd even if she did, she wouldnt know what to look for. She would just wind up getting in the way.
Hikaru is sorta playing the 'Spoiled kid Shadowrunner wanna be' right now, but during the run she handled things pretty well and showed good potential.
Also, when she speaks to or about 'Tai-Lo' (MK Ultra's Char), she uses the Japanese terms for old man or grandfather, depending on the mood and time. Considering the great age difference, it seems to work, in her own mind at least. Sorta just a habit I guess.

And if we dont see him again, is his character just sorta out of this game? I can understand his character's reasoning for leaving so quickly, but he sorta did it in an unprofessional way and then took measures to make it so we would have a hard time catching up to him, which only one person felt they needed to do.
I mean, he did leave the team in a worse off situation that before in trying to explain why they were there. If he had stayed, everyone could had said that they were invited for a small party of friends and family, with the boxes being gifts to celibrate. Now, we have to try and work up that story and explain why one of our 'Friends' took a box, which I expect was stacked in a way that would show if one was missing, and left the room with his dead friend's body that wasnt even cold yet.

There's no direct contact to anyone in the room with a simple commcall. Everyone's taking messages. Or rather, you can record messages for when they get back to a general matrix node that will pass it to them.
Hotel Switchboard.

There's no Mr Wang staying, nor is the room occupied, but they'd be very happy to hold a message at the front desk for this mysterious Mr Wang for when he arrives.
You can be out on the street by 2:22 or so very easily. However parking, even for motorcycles is very highly regulated, you had to park several blocks away in a parking garage. In downtown Honk Kong and KLowloon it's actually faster to get around on foot ro with public transportation/cabs then using your own vehicle most of the time. Horrible inconvenient parking being one reason.
If you want to try somethign else before 2:32, let me know, I think you have some options that would work to either establish a connection or send a message. If you are outside at 2:32 you see the scene described from outside the hotel. There's an oppurtunity then for a direct commcall.

That brings up the issue of misc. lifestyle equipment - gear the average person might own that doesn't appear in any sourcebook.
In Fooey's background, I mentioned that he belongs to a bicycle touring club, and rides a dwarf sized mountain bike. This is the bike I was talking about, and I assume that there are bike racks either at the hotel or on the street nearby. On my one visit to Asia, I noticed that bicycles are very popular.
If you say that Fooey doesn't have a bicycle, then I can live with that. He could have arrived by bus or taxi. That could be the case even if he has a bicycle. Whatever you decide.
Fooey's plan is to observe the hotel, and alert the gang when the police arrived. He will try to leave Gabe a message to that effect. Now that he is outside, he will also do what he couldn't do before as described in PM.
Fooey considers hacking the Hotels comm network. Normally, he prefers probing over brute force methods. There isn't time for that now. The information he gained from the switchboard suggests that telegrams, flowers, and other tricks won't work, either.
Before hacking on the fly, Fooey will do a Matrix Perception Test in an attempt to guage what he is up against.

You have a bicycle as part of your lifestyle. No problem, it can be nearby.
While bicycles are common in many asian cities, there are not any in downtown HK or Kowloon. Be suicidal. Bicycles are more common in the outlying areas, such as the former New Territories, on outlying islands etc. They aren't anywhere in as much common use as in mainland china.
