I agree that the size of trolls should be a big fucking deal, and that the system has never seriously accounted for it. I think thats a stronger argument for fixing the system than removing trolls though, even if it just means hashing out a stealth penalty and the modifier to hit them.

Even if there's no money in it, I'm sure corps do this. It's in everyone's best interest to have troll-reinforced toilets.

Now, in order to rule 34 something, do you actually have to search for and find content, or is it sufficient to speculate about the existence of such content since, having speculated about it, as per rule 34, it can now be safely assumed to exist?

What does that mean? I'm referring specifically to the verb form of "Rule 34", as used by hyzmarca. I understand what the rule itself means, I'm wondering what, exactly, is the process of "Rule 34ing." Is the verb form the process of verifying a specific example?

The idea of "rule 34ing" something is paradoxical, except insofar as making something exist would force rule 34 to apply to it. Presumably hyzmarca is indicating that he has located or produced actual content demonstrating rule 34 with respect to the given item. It's a misleading phrase, but convenient.

As far as I know, you "rule 34 something" when you search for internet porn of it and find it. A confirmation of a secret wish or an illucid fear. However, I know some people use "rule 34" to simply make the statement that there is probably porn of whatever is being discussed. Still other theories indicate that the Matrix is such that merely discussing the posibility of type of porn existing on the internet creates a resonance structure which assures that it already exists. In any case, there actually is porn of Godzilla on the internets, so any definition Rule 34 is, in this context correct.

I've always preferred less cartoony orks and trolls. The ork action figure was what I'd consider the low point. Which what I like about these character models, even if it is just because you didn't have time to dermal and pustule out the trolls.
Attractive trolls? Hell, why not? Not every troll in the world has to be futtbugly. Maybe some are hot, and maybe some are born futtbugly and get an assload of cosmetic surgery for their bat mitzvah present. My next character just might be a troll with the human-looking quality. "I'm ten feet tall, bulletproof and I make it look good, chula."

Dec 2 2007, 08:44 PM
Well, trolls aren't eligible for human looking since it's about passing rather than being pretty. The whole ten feet tall thing tends to tip people off. There's nothing saying that a troll can't have first impression and be slick enough to make sure most people won't care though.
