You don't have much of a vantage point from where you are at the moment to see anything that coudl be along the walls over the lower section of the room. But I gave you some leeway with making educated guesses about the purpose for the terminal in-game

One other thing, did I notice a jackpoint?

Does Corbin see (or smell) anything of note? He'll be doing a slow sweep of the room.

Are you upstairs on the catwalk or downstairs on the floor?
Soluna
Dec 6 2004, 08:11 PM
Upstairs standing in the doorway.

Thanks. Then you see what I've already written on the IC thread
Sorry, the rest of the stuff is mostly outside all of your lines of sight right now. Stealth tests around for those who want to creep their way down stairs. I'll make up a little map at lunch to try and make this room a little more clear.

Missed this post a while back: not yet, but there's got to be something on the terminal to communicate with the central storage unit for the electronic funds.

Map of the RoomThat should help clear things up with regard to all of the perception tests flying around. If you want to see into the gray shaded areas, then you'll have to at least move out of the doorway. You could probably hang your head over the catwalk to see under it, but you don't really know what might be looking back at you when you do that.
If you want to move over towards the stairs and remain hidden, give me a stealth (sneaking) test and I'll be able to give you more information.

Below the door in under the catwalk right? If so would I be able to hang off the edge of the catwalk to deal with it?
Dashifen
Dec 8 2004, 06:43 PM
Yeah, but you'd be pretty much right in front of it. Trace's improved invisibility spell would help out in that case, but someone might resist it ......

True, but it is worth a shot. Soluna, you want me to cast it on you?

Once Shadow makes lynx all invisible and stuff is there anything else anyone else needs to get done before she starts to break things? Also, give me a sense of where people are.
Lynx, Corbin, Ikarus are in the money room. Where are Trace and Slash?
paul_HArkonen
Dec 13 2004, 11:15 PM
Slash would be just outside the room standing by the door ready to go in and cut things up if necessary.

Well, now that we're back to school or. for those of us who have real jobs, still at work -- who's willing to try and finish this out? Soluna gave me a call and bugged me about this. If you all don't want to continue, probably by vote where anyone not voting will be concidered a no vote (since you're absent and therefore I'll assume that you might be staying that way) I'll write up a final post in narrative format describing the end of the run and the wrap up based on what I expect to happen as you guys work towards the completion of the run. That way, if you don't want to keep playing this one, you can still learn how it might have turned out
Let me know as soon as possible -- I'll probably consider the voting closed this coming Monday unless a number of you chime in and say that we're a go.

SHIT! I just realized we're fuct! Last time we stalled for time over the comm to the guards, we used the bathroom excuse. Now that we used it again they're going to know that Max is out of operation. DAMN IT! Oh, well. The shit hath hiteth the fan :o) Perception wise then, let me know if I notice any other way out of this lovely room of soon-to-be-our-doom.

Nah, that was to see if the blood rushing to your head as you hang upside down with Slash hanging onto your ankles caused you to drop your tools. You got the camera fixed in about a minute and a half. Corbin give me a perception test.

Back the way you came. The hallway has two doors, the way you came in (where Lynx fixed the weapon system in the ceiling) and the door into the vault where you're standing right now. Let me dig up a jpeg for you

Nickoli...I was talking to Dash and he said the locking mechanisms on the vault are computer controlled so you'll need to jack in and deal with that before we can get the physical cred sticks.

TG, does Corbin come back into the vault room before Soluna screws the maglock? He'd have about a minute to cover the other door as Soluna is messing with the lock.

Anyway, I'm back. I had a rough few weeks. I'm in a play, had a death in the family, vacationed once and, honestly, completely forgot you were all waiting on me. Plus, I didn't get the usual email about posts being made when everyone before Soluna posted. Unfortunately, I'm at work right now and I have plans tonight, but I promise I'll get us back on track on Monday. I even hung a sticky-note on my laptop monitor so I don't forget
