@armor: Mike would have collected those to get rid of them on the black market as well - it's usually a bad idea to keep souveniers from a heist. But if you want, you can keep them, but he'd recommend you to give them a really, really thorough wash so there aren't any DNA traces left from Zola, Schmitt or Ramirez.

Per the rules the answer is clear: The more expensive the deck, the more expensive the nanite maintenance system.
Swapping out an implanted deck for another won't cost more essence.

Cerebral Boosters are Cultured Bioware, so they have next to no resale value. Still, I'd allow you to use the upgrade rules from the German Version: You pay [New Version - Old Version]x1,2 for the upgrade and we'll frame it as a retroviral gene therapy that unlocked existing features in your bioware.

As for the date: We are now at December 5th, 2076 or 77 - I'm never sure if I ever stated the year we were in.

In prime runner settings

Prime Runner Settings don't make retinal duplication or synaptic boosters cheaper.

Prime makes it easier for mages that can do priority E-resources and still enjoy foci with high availability. (E.g. Magic A, Attributed A, skills A, meta-type C) Would have given me my own character + edge 7 instead of 2, +1 magic, 10 more skill points and a few extra spells. It does not give that much more money than regular gen in my opinion - so I get your pain.

That is correct: Flight and SIN are part of your pay. Livestyle you'll have to find in Europe for the coming three months. Augmentations are always including the operation.

I think we should agree on a common lifestyle. If nothing else, on an OoC basis it's fairer if we both subtract the same amount of money from our incomes.
After this heist, I believe, high is suiteable. Not only because it is comfortable and our characters would like to spend their lives in a nice way, but it also offers an amount of protection we are going to need with all the money we earned. Anything lower, we'd be assaultet like nothing.
Can we agree on high lifestyle?
Maybe I'll customize it a bit. I think it was Prime Runners where you can tweak your lifestyle, isn't it?

I'm changing deck, as you know. Two questions:
a) Can i simply transfer the programs running on one deck to the other? I think that shouldn't be a problem, I guess.
b) Can my old deck be used without implanting it? Yael would purchase it from bnc for 100,000 and use it as an ordinary deck. I guess, this, too, would work, but I'd like to have your okay on that.

You can swap the programs with no problem.

You also can use the un-implanted deck - it just doesn't look like a normal deck (has no display or physial buttons and is shaped like horse shoe)

About Krestov, I don't know. It's okay for me, anyway, though it doesn't fit, really, as Krestov's usually very, very reliable. And also with the group.
Slobbertooth said he would quit anyway, so, as he said, unless it's necessary, I would just let him split on his own. And, if that's possible, I'd do the same with Special K. He never enjoyed Running anyway.

I think that they can just take a different flight or just disappear after arrival, go to their personal affairs. Perhaps Krestov would go to his own country or something?

About lifestyle, I kind of envision Yael trying to get into university again. Which means a student lifestyle, perhaps with a new roommate. Sure the money can be stolen (but perhaps this is how we explain how Yael lost so much money and has so much more karma). She's also going to have more spells, higher attributes/skills so she dedicated most of her time to physical exercise and magical studies. Perhaps, she and bnc do not even talk much until the next run where bnc calls in a favor and Yael remembers that at the end of the day, she needs the risk to feel alive.

I offer a character who actually did a run together with bnc (but since I'll rewamp him anyways, the part together with her could theoretically be cut out, if that's a problem), he is a mage (all-rounder, I think mostly manipulation, detection and a little bit of combat; there wouldn't be much overlapping with Yael's skillset) from Austria and can also work as a (supportive) face.

Bears two major questions:
1) Everyone ok with me kinda "intruding" in your OOC-thread (I couldn't find a "recruiting"-thread)? Will there be an official recruiting-process for possible newcomers, where I shall post anew?
2) What requirements - IC and OOC? Any reglementations for the chacacter, how often are we posting, ...?
