clean.
I only give 1 warning...

Just came back from the worst day at work and all I can say is that you two guys just made my day great.
This is the funniest thing I've read in a long time.

I’m thinking that most of this kind of stuff isn't seeming to bother the people involved in the run but if anyone else ever happens to read these treads well maybe someone would report us so I guess we should tone it down a little.

Thou I thought I used some good words to describe his situation. Trying not to just the obvious normal every day words we use to describe womanly features. I’m sure Ludi would be proud. But the man behind Ludi is laughing too much

Talk about building tention!
"Yes yes: the situation might be very dire, and you have no idea what is going on..... but I'm going to go get buff"
hehehehe
Just kidding buddy
Its just that here (Montreal), we just got a HUGE heat wave... there's nothing to do but stay in the basement and drink beer.
FrostyNSO
Jun 13 2005, 02:52 AM
They have heat in Montreal?
Mister Juan
Jun 13 2005, 03:14 AM
You best be kidding
We have a very cold winter, which is balanced by an equally hot summer. Very humide also (since Montreal is an island).
Mister Juan
Jun 13 2005, 03:28 AM
Ludmila will start clearing the rooms one by one, making herself as discreet as possible... and hopefully, will try to identify any target before engaging it. It would REALLY suck if the 1st shot in game was friendly fire

Oh BTW, I'm sorry I'm not a more skilled writer. If I had skills, I could really make a good scene.
I'd like to wait and see what Hank is gonna do before we move in too far.

Scene was more than good to me.
I actualy swore out loud like a sailor while reading it

Jack, to keep it simple, we'll say you're calling Hank about the time they are having "issues".
Mister Juan
Jun 14 2005, 05:18 AM
Basically, Ludi starts to search the house, looking for Kote's personal computer or thing of that kind. Once she does find it, she copies, if possible, everything on her pocket computer. She will also look for Cain's letter (the one Kote was supposed to hand over to the team).
Once that is done, she'll start a detailed search of every single room, taking pictures of everything and storing it in her head memory. She'll even snap a few shots of Kote's body.
If she finds any items that would be of interest in the next phase of the mission (finding Cain), she'll take a few shots, and bag it without touching it (using something like a garbage of plastic bag from Kote's kitchen... or wrapping paper).
Ludmila gone CSI I guess
Here are 10 perception rolls... I didn't know if how many you needed (one by room, one by "item", etc...). I just guessed that 10 would be enough.

Qillin, you may want to go back and delete that post. Read the last IC one I just did. You'll understand why.
Ludi, you have pictures of each of the rooms, a few of Kote's body, and a shred of grey cloth with some blood on it bagged and tagged. The entire contents of her computer is now on your drive, but you weren't able to find the letter from cain.
You can grab the copy of the contract copy too if you want.
Mister Juan
Jun 14 2005, 08:23 PM
Sure thing for the copy. She'd probably grab anything worth grabbing at this point
Anyways; I have to leave for work, and I'll be going out for the night afterwards. So I doubt I'll be able to post anything before the early hours of the morning, or tomorrow when I wake up with a hell of a hangover.
If you want to NPC Ludmila for that time, go ahead. Since I have to leave pretty soon, I don't want to type a crappy hurried post; so, Ludmila will probably turn off the trid and cover Kote's body with some sort of sheet (after saying a quick prayer). Chances are she'll notice the sirens at some point, which will make her bolt out of the place as fast as possible. If the sirens are really close, she'll leave out the back, jump over the fence and cut throught alleys. If they are still far enough, she'll leave with her truck.

He don't worry. I'm gonna be busy as a mother tonight, and then getting some teeth pulled tomorrow, so as usual won't be back til Friday. Post when you can. I don't wanna NPC anyone during a crucial moment like this.

Jun 15 2005, 07:09 PM
If I'm not mistaken, this is an Open Test: your result of charisma (-4 to your best roll), with the number being Ludi's target for her detect fast talk roll.
This situation could be approached from two different angle. I can roll intelligence on Ludi's part to see if she catches the lie... or roll her negotiation / fast talk (I mean, how better to detect bullshit than use what you yourself use to make it)
I'll just blank out my post in the mean time

i'm hoping its the fast talk rolls that count though
Mister Juan
Jun 15 2005, 07:16 PM
Yea
We could have easily chalk it up to Ludmila's sometimes poor understanding of english... or the fact she's just looking for a reason to let out some steam.
I honestly am loving this scene! It shows both character's personality quite well... as well as exposing Ludmila's short fused personality
I hope its the fast talk one also. Wouldn't be too cool to attract that much attention.
