Mister Juan
Now that I'm thinking of it, Ludi will also pack her Ingram and two clips. Yea, I know, thats a lot of firepower on one person but lets just say that she's a bit... nervous... I mean... She had quite a day wink.gif

Electronic (scanning the frequencies to see if Lonestar is watching the place)
[ Spoiler ]

And she's actually going to follow Hank's advice: they'll both go to see Stone.
FrostyNSO
Ok, nothing on the scanner out of the ordinary.

I'm going to give the other guys a post or two to make any preperations they were planning on before Hank and Ludi got there.

Can I do an Etiquette Test, or maybe just a Charisma Test, to try to calm the Johnson down?

Had one helluva day at work today (don't worry, it was in a good way...kinda), so couldn't make it to a comp. Going on a trip, will be back Friday.
Mister Juan
Shadow: Just making sure I've got it the right way: Gun's a mafia man, right?
Has he ever worked in Seattle before, or is this his very first time in the city?
Since Ludmila usually only works for the mob, there'd be some odds that she would know Gun.
But then again, it's your call in the end. Just tought it would be interesting.

edit: Boy... my english skills are down the drain tonight....
Shadow
This is the first time he has bene in the city for any extended period of time. He is the favoured one of the San Fran Don so she may have met him or at least heard of him, and visa versa. They probably would recognize eachother and it could be a cool little thing.

I think it would take better light, like after they came in.

edit: Sorry for the delay frown.gif
FrostyNSO
Bleh, shitty dialogue. My writing skills are crap today. Sorry for being off my game.
Mister Juan
Quit yer none such sense
FrostyNSO
Not much time, dialogue suffers, sorry.
Mister Juan
Don't make me slap you.
Mister Juan
Should I make a willpower roll for Ludi? See if she bolts for Stone wink.gif

Like a Will (4) test or something.

I mean, she's got one freaking mean temper... and Stone is pushing her buttons like crazy wink.gif
FrostyNSO
Hmmmmm...I'll let you make a personal roll for that one. Behind your computer screen =)

I love that guy...he can be a real dick.
Mister Juan
But whats your take on it?

I can't decide.

Edit: because, metagaming wise, I know perfectly that Gun and Wormwood are going to react with force wink.gif Especially Gun. I mean... Ludmila is going to get him in one mean arm lock / choke hold.
FrostyNSO
It's your character...not mine. Probably it will result in serious bloodshed...Hank may not even back ya...but you can't really know with Hank
Mister Juan
Well, the Impulsiveness flaw says: Character tends to jump into the middle of the action without thinking. Willpower(6) test to avoid this.

I guess the Bad Temper flaw would be close to that.
For RP's sakes, I'm rolling this one.

Willpower
[ Spoiler ]

Thank God!
FrostyNSO
Ok, well lets see what Wormwood and Gunther have to say, then we'll get moving.

Chime in you guys to let me know you're here, even if Gun or Worm don't have anything to say. I'm assuming they want to wratchet some more money though.
Mister Juan
I think I'll have to make a few adjustment to Ludmila's sheet after this run. Like add "compulsive behavior: nitroglycerine temper"
Shadow
I don't have my character on me but if you would be so kind as to roll the applicable skill, followed up by a intimidation roll.
Slacker
Sorry I haven't been posting much. I was busy all weekend and just now had the chance to read everything that got posted over the weekend. Wormwood has enemies so he is very leary of getting involved in something with this much heat, but everybody has their price 30k could feed him on the run for a quite a while.

Now that Gun seems to be trying to intimidate the Johnson, Wormwood has turned to keep him in his field of vision too. Even with all the possible changes in the job coming he is still trying to stick to the current contract of protecting Mr. Stone during this meeting, even if it means fighting a fellow guard. Though he's a bit worried about having three foes now.
FrostyNSO
Sheesh Shadow, good thing this guy's not a professional Johnson.
Mister Juan
I love how NO ONE likes Stone. I mean... NO ONE AT ALL! Even my friends who red over my shoulder as the game went along don't like him. None of the PCs like him. I say we shoot him dead and rob him blind. nyahnyah.gif
Slacker
Hehe...so far he hasn't been portrayed as too likable a guy. Wormwood doesn't particularly dislike Stone, he just doesn't like the situation.

He would certainly not condone shooting Stone, especially since he has currently been hired to guard him.
Shadow
Well Guns brand of negotiating is holding a knife to someones throat. And to be honest hes a high level mob guy, people don't normally say no to him...

well they do but its more like "Oh please no, please no!"

I have an intimidation roll now that I am have his character sheet.

Is the address Lars had on file. You also have his two phone numbers that were on file.

Sorry for the delay for such a short post, I've had a lot going down.
FrostyNSO
Did I miss something? Are you guys waiting on me?
Mister Juan
I believe we are waiting on Shadow (hasn't posted on our thread for 7 days)?
Mister Juan
Looks like our man is back! biggrin.gif

Anyways; Ludmila will ride with Hank. She'll have him go by the safehouse before, so she can grab the stuff she needs.
Slacker
Your characters may or may not know that Corsica, birthplace of Napolean, is an island off the coast of Italy that in the modern world is under the rule of France. They have a long standing history of wanting independence from France.

I created this character prior to when Shadows of Europe came out so that desire for freedom is in his background. But Shadows of Europe says that Corsica was became its own country in 2043 or something like that, so I am not sure how well that really fits any more.
FrostyNSO
Corsica is also home the 2nd Para Regiment of the French Foreign Legion, for those of you who didn't know wink.gif
Mister Juan
Why did I KNOW that was coming? wink.gif
Shadow
I am sorta ad-libbing on Gun and Ludmilla knowing eachother. I made it pretty clear earlier he had never been to Sea-town before so I figured Portland was the next best thing.

Frosty can you move us to the house?
Mister Juan
Frosty: I'll get you the exact list of what Ludi brings along.

So, in the time Gun and Jacques were sitting outside, was there any sign of activity/life in the house?
FrostyNSO
Just the trid flicking in and out. Kinda like when you flip channels.
Mister Juan
As I said, Ludmila has four micro cam setted outside the van, one of each sides, and is keeping an eye on the surroundings. The scanner is set to check all the LS frequencies, in case something goes wrong and a call goes out to the blue boys.

Beside keeping watch, she's also scanning the house with her thermographic binoculars.

Electronic (if need be for anything, I'm giving you a few rolls)
[ Spoiler ]

Perception (once again, giving you more than one in case)
[ Spoiler ]
FrostyNSO
How advanced is SR thermo, out of curiosity. You should see pretty much what the others see only with less detail. You can't really see through walls, and certainly not through windows, soooo...

But that is just from my RL experience with the stuff and maybe SR stuff is more advanced. Any info?
Mister Juan
The way I always envisioned with was how that alien badass thingy saw in Predator. I am aware that current thermo isn't all that great... altought you can spot a person hidden under a tree from a helicopter; saw that in some "COPS" show.

yea... I know.... I watch too much tv and movies rotfl.gif

Anyways, I'm pretty sure you can't see thru walls and such (altought some games have portrayed thermographic in such a manner... mainly the Rainbow Six series) and such. All in all, I have nothing useful AT ALL to say and I have just wasted all your time wink.gif
FrostyNSO
Well, regardless, the house is wet, so that couldn't help =)
Mister Juan
I guess she'll simply turn the thermo off and use them as regular longrange magnifier wink.gif
Shadow
You can see radiated heat, so if someone body heat radiated through the walls you could see that smile.gif
Shadow
Strength check to crash the door in.

Shadow: one thing concerning your last IC post... I LOVE YOU CHARACTER rotfl.gif
For some reason, your post really cracked me up (and I was in class so I got many odd looks)
FrostyNSO
Go ahead and roll some initiative if you like, then throw them up here and go for it.

Hank's got a 10.
Mister Juan
Here's Ludi's.... even if there isn't much she can do wink.gif
