I've been a GM on a few games
So, I have that little devious thing in my genes.
Anyways, just to say grats to Frosty: I'm getting very curious, confused, enthralled and pissed whenever I examine the plot. I know that this really isn't a run of mill run (hihi) but I can't quite put my finger on it. I mean, the whole Cain / the two Charles / the virtual meeting / etc... thing is just too creepy.
I mean, we could be getting f**ked big time and not really notice it.
Here are the numerous theories we've came up with.
Charles Whittingdude is "Charles" (that a pretty sure bet since that dude has been arrested for meeting with us... which means someone saw the meeting... unless the Charles we met with was a "fake" one, Cain in fact, that made the switch just before the meet.... that might be pulling it, but isn't impossible)
Charles works for Rick Stone (not sure)
Rick Stone hired us (pretty sure, since one of Ludmila's contact spoke directly to Rick himself, who asked her to contact Ludi)
Rick is Cain.
Charles is Cain (getting thin)
There is no Cain (that wouldn't be totaly wacky)
The whole deal is what we know it is: Cain is a killer, who was probably the homeless guy Hank saw, and he's the one who called the cops, the "witness", etc... And he might even be the one who observed the meeting. (this could be possible, but for some reason, I have a hard time believing it. We'll know more when we contact Rick directly.)
--------
What I believe we need to look into.
1-Is "Charles" (the one we met) the real Charles ? (Ludi has picture of "Charles, which can be compared to Charles pictures)
2-Is Rick Stone aware of the job? (trace the credsticks?)
3-What is the fiber we found, and who's blood is on it? Can Ernie track the person using the blood?
4-Do we split the vehicle money among us?
5-What is in Kote's computer and her portfolio's?
6-Who's the man that was in the car with Rick? (bodyguard? the real charles?)
7-Does Cain exist? If yes, who is he?
8-Is there a link between Anne Keller and Kote's murder? What is up with the water?
To think of it: the person who gave us a contact number was "Charles". Rick, or whoever, simply said "Charles will give you a number". Pretending there was a switch, any number could have been given. We have to know more about this....
So, if you have comments to add, do so before we move on. We need to get our thoughts togheter.
If you have other "questions" to add to mine, put numbers next to them (keeping with my current order... so next question would be 9, then 10, etc...). By doing so, we'll be able to keep track of them.
I didn't make this whole thing IC since it was just WAY too long... and would be sort of unrealistic to just have Ludi give one long freaking speech.
