The AR map is laid out with pinpoints for Greenstreets, Electron Skies, Jazz Nights, and a double star on Casanova. A broad stretch of Downtown is cloaked in red shading. Most of the sights are nightclubs and restaurants--Casanova is a casino, stylized in a 1920s mystique along with a smoking room library. The red shading covers all of the hot spots and is Horizon's latest civil improvement--the Automated Crime Prevention System.

In Studio City, you see UCLA tagged for a large library, and the corporate arcologies for Horizon and Aztechnology.

Fenris--To answer the call for damage, Papa also has 3 boxes of Physical from kicking the spirit. (No one magicked/treated Papa since he wasn't on death's door)

All--With the amount of stun people have (and the fact that it's the middle of the night), I'd recommend that the crew rests for awhile. Unleash some agents, spirits with Search, cleaning/construction drones, etc. and rest until a civilized hour for calling contacts. As a reminder, Edge will refresh when everyone gets a chance to rest and the scene changes.

Also, please be aware that Physical Damage requires a full day's rest without any stun damage to make the test to heal.

Ok Leo is going to cast Fix on things in the house to help get us back up and running. I am going to leave it to the GM to tell us/me how much things get fixed because it's flavor for me and I am not interested in dragging out rolls to patch up a fridge. smile.gif

Alright, so it's a new day. Everyone with Stun will have had a chance to sleep it off. Physical will stay with everyone until you take some days off. If everyone wants to take a day to lay around and call contacts, send Agents out on datamining expeditions etc, that's fine.

If anyone is unclear on the process of legwork, let me know.

Fenris--Not yet, though the day is still young.

All--If you are doing legwork, I'd suggest making a list of things that you want to accomplish, questions you want answered etc, then breaking it down on who/how.

:grin: I believe that is the third time they have been put in bed, but duly noted. They are officially "on bed-rest to heal."

Since everyone seems to be voting to rest a day, roll the tests for Physical damage healing.

Fenris--Remember if Argent wants the voice in his head, he needs to touch the rock at the same time that Papa is, with the intent to carry it.

All--I still need to know what your plan is. Are there Data Searches happening, more contact calling, further travels into the great beyond, and spirits being sent out to Search? Are you going to tie the pixie to the hood and drive through downtown until he starts pointing at something?

Uetz is asking if Caballero can take the wounded out of the way (and maybe wait on getting paid until I actually have some nuyen not locked into to future months' rent). grinbig.gif

Fenris--It depends on what you want from Naiomi. Fast Talk is to lie to her or obscure facts without her noticing. Negotiation is for bargaining. Etiquette for talking as you work through things.

JxJxA--You can go straight from what you said, or if you'd rather trust to dice, roll Etiquette + Charisma. (Modifiers of + Loyalty + Street Cred -1. The + cannot be higher than your base dice pool of Skill + Stat, and Street Cred cannot be higher than Cha.)

I'm hopping that Fenris will post on Sunday (pretty sure he was at the festival all day today).

It looks like there will be resting for a day before anything strenuous, so I need a Body + Body test from Papa Smurf, to see how much of his Physical damage will heal in the day.

There's probably some talking between your group next, since some of you have information and pictures that others don't.

Electron Skies - A popular club amongst the beautiful people and Horizon scouts, the dance club is heavily AR enhanced. It's rumored that some of the scouts have private offices in the club, with every luxury possible. Full of glitterati and those who can fake it well enough to get past the door.
Jazz Nights - Reminiscent of a speakeasy jazz club, it's in Echo Park and has live music every night. Drinks are strong and the smoke is thick. Older members of the LA Mafia spend nights here. Popular with musicians and fans.
Casanova - Highly exclusive casino, run by the Mafia, with a who's who list of politicians, executives, and starlets there every night. It was faithfully reconstructed in the 1920s style. By invitation only.

ACPS - The automated crime prevention system, is a state of the art security system implemented by Horizon. It runs motion sensors, active scans for commlinks, body-temperature scans, and analyzes audio and video feeds for gunshots, weapons, or arguments that could lead to a physical altercation. PuebSec has increased their response time dramatically, often arriving before the first shot is fired.

Willpower(6) + Charisma(5) + Focused Conc(1) = 12d6 for 4 + no hits. I rolled them separately because I am dumb and forgot that I have 12 dice to throw at resisting drain. x_x So the trauma dampener eats one box of stun and I'm rockin' the other. Uetz is putting the spirit on standby.

Casting Increased Reflexes at Force 2 through my sustaining focus:
Magic(5) + Conjuring(4) + Power Focus(2) - Stun(1) = 10d6 for 3 hits, but only 2 count. I'm at +1/+1 to Init and IP. (Edit: I ended up rolling the wrong amount of dice twice for this one x_x)

Resisting drain: (2/2)+2 for 3:
Willpower(6) + Charisma(5) + Focused Conc(1) = 12d6 for 3 hits.

Healing stun:
Body(4) + Willpower(6) = 10d6 for 4 hits. The stun will be gone in an hour. smile.gif

Uetz is going to see if his talismonger (Guillermo de la Cruz) has any potential info on jobs and also if he has any leads on a Force 4 sustaining focus (manipulation). Might as well find a way to maintain my shapes without having to sustain them.

All--It looks like all of the data search and oracle data has been spread to the team (except D'zan). Uetz is staying to read while Papa goes shopping. Argent is going to the casino to talk his way in. D'zan is at the house. Is there any other legwork being done on any of the locations, beyond knowledge skills?

BishopMQ - Going to task 'Janice', (rating 6 agent) to track down ID's on anyone seen entering or exiting clubs. I assume screamsheets that cover mover's and shakers, maybe vid crews, someone's watching and recording who's going in and out. I'm hoping to find someone in Horizon high enough up the line that I know has an invite that I can claim to be a minion far enough down the line that the person's actual office couldn't be expected to know about me, here to retrieve something from the library that I only have a partial description for. I'm hoping this will get me in the door (with a little bit of Con tossed in wink.gif ) and give me a reason for poking around the library a bit and not immediately grabbing an item.

Starting to draft a Force 5 Ally Spirit formula for my Animal Twin: 25 successes needed.

Day 1:
Logic(3) + Arcana(3) = 6d6 for 2 hits.

This is probably going to take some time based on what the group's plan is, but that's cool. I'm still gathering the needed karma.

Fenris--It's a Data Search extended test for somewhat private information. 12 hits will get you a name, each 12 after that will get you information about the person's activities inside the casino.
