Well, for whoever is doing First Aid here is an Increase Logic spell.
Increase Logic at Force 6:
Magic(6) + Spellcasting(6) + Specialty(2) + Power Focus(4) - Depression(4) - Wounds(3) =
11d6 for 3 hits.
Resist Drain: (Force/2) - 2 = 1S
Willpower(9) + Charisma(5) + Centering(2) =
16d6 for 8 hits. If depression counts against drain tests, knock off the last four dice to reduce it to 6 hits. Either way, no drain taken.

Saytr/Buddha -- Can you post a "day in the life" for your new characters so that we can get a feel for their attitudes etc? I'll get the info about the job to you in follow up posts.

Probably a few weeks, or at least until Uetz is feeling up to 'running again. If it's okay to RP a metaplanar quest to get Quauhtli back, I'd like to do that. If you want to me to game it out, that'd be cool too. I'm interested to see what what her metaplane would look like, if it's really on the dangerous road to Mictlan or something a little less nightmare fuel-ish.
Just for future reference, Bishop, was it because Uetz got super pissed and started tossing overcast stunballs that caused the negative modifier or is it because he took a life in the line of the run that was quickly spiraling out of control? If it's something that's going to come up a lot (especially mid-escape x_x), I might consider buying off the quality with karma during the downtime.

JxJxA--It was the active choice of bloodlust and "kill them all" rage. An accidental death should have some RP impact--you didn't know they had been hurt before the fight began is different than overcasting to pound them into the pavement.
Always remember that some threats are not meant to be faced in a knock down fight and that your team is a group of criminals--being sneaky or ignoring the ARO that says you must be in Active Mode goes with the territory. You can also lay the ambush instead of stepping into the bad guy's trap.

Yeah, I just wanted to make sure what was happening and why. I figured I'd probably have some repercussions because it was kind of a snapping moment for him. In the course of a few days, he was nearly burned to a crisp, watched his friends get turned into puppets and attack his teammates, and then get his animal twin sister blasted into oblivion.
Also, I think this is maybe my sixth or seventh run in Shadowrun, and my third with Uetz. I'm still getting to know the rules and strategies.

It feels weird having been in Shadowrun games for nearly two years, but having a very limited understanding of the system. x_x I just keep forgetting everything. Maybe I should have bought the common sense quality.

Go for it, and Uetz can try and back him up (sort of). It's times like these that I regret not having the Increase Charisma spell, but I just couldn't afford it after all the healing spells x_x. He has etiquette, so depending on how injured he is, I have anywhere from 0-2 dice to add for an assist.

JxJxA/Redjack--I need a decision for how long you are going to take as downtime. With Leo's magic before he left, First Aid, and natural healing, presume that you can be fully healed within 48 hours. (I'm not going to sweat the dice rolls.)
If Uetz is going on the Astral Quest, I can fast time it or the whole group can go together. Which would the group prefer?

From an IC POV, I think Uetz will be in downtime for at least whichever takes longer: depression to wear off or Quauhtli's return. Bishop, you are always welcome to start it up sooner than that and I'll be happy to roleplay my mopey Nahualli.
I'm fine either way with the astral quest. I've never done one, and it looks like a trippy time, so people are more than welcome to come along as
Xolotl's heralds (the Hangover's Alan would probably consider them members of Xolotl's wolf pack

).

Another thing to think about is that if the team picks up after say a week, even if you aren't ready to travel until the end of the month, you can spend the time doing research, legwork, consulting the rock, etc and planning for the next leg.
As a refresher both of the items are a good distance from LA (combining sources):

Sounds like a plan, and something Uetz would be more capable of handling. He's still a little shaken at how quickly he veered into violence when his sister was disrupted.

Ack, I should probably mention that I can get my talismonger to assess and possibly buy the reagents. I'm not the best at assensing (I passed that role off to Quauhtli), so I can try summoning a spirit to do it and maybe get a ballpark idea of the value before trying to negotiate prices.

Bishop, can I ask a few questions about shapechange? I want to have Uetz grow so that he can use the spell sort of like a D&D druid, employing the spell as a combat option and just a multipurpose skill/ability to have. What skills should I think about taking to make that possible. Would he be able to learn the flight skill, too, since he can practice flying as a bird?
I'll get an IC/OOC post up soon about what Uetz is doing. He's probably going to contact his talismonger and then summon a spirit to help him evaluate the magical potency of the reagents.

Fly and Unarmed would be good skills, some of the Athletic group (Climb as a monkey for example). Having a sustaining focus that doesn't leave your body--a piercing for example would be a good way to keep the form up.

Van. More from a point of being thorough; I kinda feel that not being thorough was problematic for Papa on campus so I'm seeking to rectify that. Despite taking the head and hands from the previous owner, they left a fake SIN intact on the com so I have a picture (and surely fingerprints) so I'm just checking for teammates (if any) of the previous owner (so that if we bump into them we won't be completely off guard) or anything recorded that just stands out as odd.

Doing a bit more casting. I'll let my sustaining focus drop the Increase Willpower spell

7d6 for 6 hits and a glitch (got three 1s in a row at the end). Good use of edge!
Hopefully, that'll give me an idea as to how much they are or what they can be used for.
