Yes, the drug trade is pretty evenly split between the mafia and the yaks with the yaks taking the edge in BTL and the mafia in chemicals. The obvious supply route is through Denver but Book has gleaned some useful information that the mafia has contacts through the Carribean League as well. The most notable gang involved in drugs is Avenue J and they have managed to piss most of the other gangs off as they don't obey normal territory restrictions. They get away with it becuase the members run it more like a franchise business than the typical territorial gangs.

Local to Dick's neighborhood (and obviously not terribly effective) would be the 51st Street Nomads. Mostly underage kids who dable in feel good BTL but aren't seen as anything serious.

Based on personnal experience Book also knows that as least part of the Star is dealing as well.

Got my hard copies of Runner's Companion and Unwired.
Played some a LOT of great Shadowrun. Like 40 hours in 4 days.
My buddy picked up Cthulu-Tech, a new Catalyst game and they started hinting about Eclipse Phase - another new game they are bringing out.

Give me another day or so to catch up. I lost my voice Saturday (playing the tournament all from notes will go down in the annuls of gaming history) and I'm a little run down and a lot behind.

When you get your head around it all, send me a summary - it sounds like it was awesome!

I ran five games, Th-Su 8am games and a NY Missions at noon on Saturday. I played in a NY Missions and the the Scramble (1/2 LARP, 1/2 NY Missions) as well as the two nights of the tournament. Two of the most memorable games were both ones I ran. In one, a team was trying to find the missing daughter of an exec. She had been kidnapped by mantis spirits and was cocooned. When they realized it was spirits, they called the father, told him to send Doc Wagon then they assaulted the nest. The gave the spirits heavy casualties causing them to flee. Then they played one of the NERPS cards (find 2kg R15 explosives), freed the girl, blew up the hive and just as the Doc Wagon High Threat response team was arriving, the Matnis spirits were coming out of their escape tunnel a block away. The ending was very epic.

In another game, the team got traced to a safehouse. Two heavy response teams arrived. One consisting of four trolls, one of whom had a Vindicator. To make a long story short, they hacked his com, wrote a program that reversed the friend/foe on the smartgun and engaging the trigger. Then a vehicle they stole crashed into the troll vehicle just as they dis-embarked. The timing and rolls all came out just right and as he swung around towards the crashing vehicle he crossed ALL three team-mates in his field of fire..... Troll pudding.

The poor trolls.

Tank notices that the symbols being removed from their stakeout at Dick's are Los Samurai signs. Perhaps the lazy youth outside was supervising the removal of the signs in his territory?

Question though. We had been expecting Junior to leave around 10am. Where do we sit in relation to Daddy's place (where Junior & girl are now), Junior's Place, the girls place and the meat packing plant? If we are between Daddy's place and all the the others and Junior is still sitting there, we are good. Otherwise, I may need a small back track in time.

They are around 15 blocks from the meet packing plant. They are across town from Daddy's house and Girlfriends house (same neighborhood). Daddy's apartment (next to the precinct) is closer to 35 block away.

Let me know how you want to handle the time.

When I rolled for compiling a sprite, System nailed a Rating 6 with a single service on the first try. The next three tries with a Rating 4 were failures. At least he didn't glitch ....

If you're using canon, you know he can only have one unbound sprite, right? I assumed he would have had a number of bound sprites ready for the run, like Book has bound spirits. Of course, if you're not using canon, then I am as bewildered as my characters about what he is doing.

OK, let me make sure we are on the same page:
You want to intercept Junior before he goes to the girlfriend's place? He hasn't left yes (that is, as of 1007); however, he normally goes over there around 1000 so he might be leaving any minute.

If you want to catch him before then you will need to back up time.

If you would prefer to fetch him from the girlfriend's place then you will need to hit him before 1130 as that is the earliest he has ever left from her place. The normal time he leaves is closer to 1200.

Somewhere I missed the trend to be at the GF location till ~11:30. That actually works for me. I'll post up IC tomorrow.
