Sorry for a lack of posting lately. Been busy myself. Khote is awake and on guard. His normal reaction would be to go chameleon, but if he's need to do the talking he will step up in front of the gate to greet any oncoming traffic alert the others over their comms that we have company coming.

With Nova's warning of an incoming attack, Khote will switch on his own chameleon coating and head outside. He will head away from the gatehouse suspecting that will be the target for the incoming mortar fire. How far away does he think he can get before the SUV arrives?

Standard human speed 25m running. On a running test I got 1 hit which would bring it up to 27m per turn.

I just did some math.

25 meters in 3 seconds is 500 meters in a minute, is 30,000 meters in an hour.

30,000 meters is about 98,400 feet, which is 18.6 miles per hour.

So humans in shadowrun do a 3 and a quarter minute mile, finishing a marathon in under an hour and a half.

I guess for the first combat turn, Khote will simply cross to the other side of the road to be against the inner camp wall and ready myself to either fire on the SUV should violence start from it or at the outer gate; or run should we get information that mortar my current location is targeted by mortar fire.
