I'm with you. I was in Indiana for vacation earlier this year but it just didn't work to be there during GenCon. Oh well. Hopefully he will share some thoughts when he gets back.

Back from GenCon but had to put my 13 1/2 year old Rott (got him when he was a puppy) to sleep. Work will be hell catching up. Try to have everything caught up by the week end.

No, he is using it to sustain invisibility. That may change but I think it holds for now.

As an FYI, you have to declare the category of spell to which the focus applies (health, illusion, etc)

Ok. I'm gonna roll to round number #2. Remember, each combat turn is 3 seconds so free actions of speech chew up combat turns quickly.
Val & Jonathan: Init rolls. Thugs are on a 9. If you meet or beat, declare your action and make the appropriate rolls.
Hawk: No init required. For this round, roll Palming to slip out his pocket contents and Con to fool the crowd.

Val is looking for any exposed body part of the thugs from around the car. basically a called shot on anything he can see.

There are several types of called shots [BBB149/SR4A161]. For expediency, I will say you are shooting for max effect (+4 Power). In turn you take a -4dp.

Hey guys,
I just wanted to let you guys know i sprained my ankle friday afternoon. Despite being off my feet for a while i probably won't be checking the boards every day. Give me a few days before you write me out of a phase please. This is by no means me trying to get out of the game! I'm still interested and anxious...i just need a little time to get back moving around.
