Bishop never spoke of his past. There were several times when he seemed caught up in flashbacks or strong memories, generally in relation to the church. As far as an accent, he sounded as if he grew up in Boston.

Back up and rolling, just to let everyone know.
Anything we need to move forward at this point, or are we proceeding with recon to try and track down any acomplices this guy might have?

None from me yet but my fellow players we need to come up with some plan of action. Do we want to nominate a leader type so decisions get made and the thread starts moving?
Fenris

I second the leader type. Sparky, you're character up for getting involved and committed? What about Downtown?

Feb 22 2006, 01:23 AM
Hey
McQuillan, since we're trying to expose the Templars, are there any actitives or indcidents in Seattle that have happened recently that we think are linked back to the Templars, or possibly even Ulrick himself?
Or more specifically, what should we roll to find out?
BishopMcQ
Feb 22 2006, 04:44 AM
Current Catholic Church (Templars), Current Events, Megacorporate Politics?
"I'll take 'religious zealots' for 500 Alex..."
Also some dives through local data havens might turn something up...

And the answer is?

Leader type is fine with me too, I missed answering that. We're effectively down to three active posting for the time being so it's gonna need to be one of us. I vote
Herne.
Seriously, I think
Gellawyn or
Kraxus should take it.
Edana's short on experience.

Fenris--Beyond the Great Form spirit...there has been a recent reorganisation within the Arch-diocese leadership. Most of the leadership is pushing supporting a set of documents and edicts known as Vatican III. Basically it's an revision (read: overturning) of Vatican II and a return to certain conservative values. This shakeup comes on the coattails of whispers that the cardinal was harboring a cloistered order of Priests who believed they should offer services in the Matrix to reach out to the youth of today.
Fenris
Feb 24 2006, 04:38 AM
Okay, the plan was to take the guy out, but I wanted to know if there were other people he contacts on Templar business that we could get to as well.
So, as a quick information roll, does the church usually directly support these rabid zealot guys, or are they left to their own devices?
Current Catholic Church[Templars] 5/7: 08 05 04 04 03 03 02
I'm going to vote that Kraxus take the leader roll then, since that's how the pair of them are built.
BishopMcQ
Feb 24 2006, 03:53 PM
The Templars have high placed influential leaders within the regular clergy that will support their field agents. If some of the new leaderhsip is actually a member of the Templars than Ulick will be receiving direct support from them. If not, then he will have to operate solo until he can get support from another part of the organization.

How long would it take the spirit to get to Bishop's to let Kane out? And when should I expect to get keyed in to how that is going or went?

SHE'S HERE!!!
My niece was born yesterday morning.
She's 6 1/2 lbs and 20 inches long. Both her and her mommies are doing great but I will be taking the week off from posting to help them all settle in. Big brother stuff very serious in our family.
See ya next Monday!
Fenris
Mar 3 2006, 02:40 AM
Who's Kane?
So just to get a general consensus, it sounds like we should do something to catch Ulrick's attention that would make it important to check in or get support, and see if he's got support, and if so, who?
McQ, from what I understand of our character's status, we're hunting Templars. Does that mean we have basically a standing warrant to take down anyone we know is a Templar that we find, or do we actuall have to have things like evidence and proof?
BishopMcQ
Mar 3 2006, 02:44 AM
Kane is a German shepherd...
Re: Templars--Proof etc that he has done something illegal would be best to avoid a diplomatic incident. The embassy will be able to keep you mostly safe unless you do something like shoot him in the middle of the street in broad daylight. Without proof, the best thing to do would be to make him disappear quietly with as little direct evidence linking you back to the "event" as possible.

Alright, so the task at this point is to verify if he's got any connections with the local churches, and then make him disappear
Any idea where they picked you up, or how much of your going's on they know about? Where would be the best place to make sure that this guy saw and identified you?

Centering for additional successes and the question will be when/where she will be attacked. I am going to assume that's a pretty high TN. 10 is for very specific and that seems to be what I am looking for.

Assensing... I know it's INT based. Edana doesn't have the knowledge skill, though she does have Legendary Foci.
She has and Int of 6 and a Legendary Foci of 4. I seem to recall making this roll long ago, but I can't recall the number of dice.
My brain is totally broken to SR4 now too, not that I was ever really broken to 3.
BishopMcQ
Apr 11 2006, 04:56 PM
Sparky--Without the aura reading skill to act as a complementary, Assensing is basically an Astral Perception test. You roll your Int. Because it is an astrally based activity, you can use your Astral pool generated by initiation.
In short, give me Int+Initiate Grade, TN unknown.
I also need a memory test--Int + any modifiers from bioware/edges.

McQuillan - I want to do an astral assensing on Crash. I'm looking specifically for whatever markers indicate mental instability, defects, or damage.
Assenssing: 14 08 05 03 03 03 02 02 01 01 01 01

Fenris--
Crash has an Essence of 1.73, no magic attibute and is a metahuman. Implants are heavily weighted towards the headware side of things, with wires that seem to course along his entire central nervous system and branch out along major muscle groups.
He suffers from no physical diseases or toxins, but there seems to be a schism in his mental focus. At the same time, he is excited because he feels that he is being helpful and hypervigilant because he is surrounded by possible enemies. The closest mental disease you can apply is Multiple Personality Disorder.

This is just a coincidence, yeah? How many Michaels in the world, right?
BishopMcQ
Apr 13 2006, 06:56 AM
Yeah, just a coincidence...that's it....Bishop just happened to come across a letter written to a different Michael and keep it in his momentos box with a lock of your mother's hair and her wedding band.
The other possibility is that he played a part in the death of your parents, but that was just an "accident".

EDIT: Yes, I know he's in a coma.
Edana's gonna probably get herself thrown out.
AND, I made the post end with her going up to the door so that you could make the place as secure (or not) as it needs to be... I have no idea how a 'gray' hospital handles its security, patients or anything else like that.
BishopMcQ
Apr 21 2006, 06:18 AM
Well, how do you plan on getting answers out of the unconscious guy? I don't see Mind Probe on your spell list, though you do have Stunbolt on there twice...
The hospital which Bishop is at is only a few steps above Street Clinic, but as long as the money keeps coming in, your erstwhile companion won't be sold on the blackmarket as a neatly-arranged, self-contained sack of spare parts.
HeySparky
Apr 21 2006, 11:42 PM
I'm not sure. And one of those stun bolts is for Herne.
Shouldn't I have some Karma lying around? What should we have for the 5 posts we've made in as many months? ... :/
Fenris
Apr 22 2006, 05:03 AM
We've made more then five posts ;P
You should have 32 points of karma lying around, assuming you haven't spent any of it.
Just for reference, you'll need a copy of the Mind Probe spell and several days if you're planning on learning it.
