Spellcasting 6+Magic 6-Background Count 4- Sustaining invisibility 2+3 edge: 9d6h5: 9 [9d6h5=2, [6, 3], 5, 5, 4, [6, 3], 5, 5, [6, 6, 5]] So I think that's 8 hits capped at 6! Let's hope he rolls a bad resistance test!!! Orokos likes me!

Yikes - hell of a roll when you needed it. Yeah, I think he'll be staggered - anyway, most opponents are not at the fight-to-unconsciousness professional rating!
No need for a Simple to move past him, it's just movement - it's on him to use an Intercept interrupt if he wants to stop you. Oh, there's an option to use Gymnastics to get around the Intercept but that's a Complex. Anyway, moot point. The spell kicked ass. See IC.

More of just a thing... it's the link to the Wiki...guess it could be called something else?!? Of course if you want to start something that would be fine, it would even be worth rewards

Jayde did this with the Shaking Shadows OP page and it worked well for that (for a while) but in the end it meant trying to track too many places (for me anyway). We could start an IC Jackpoint type thread linked to 2075 here along the lines of the general IC but with wider scope? I'm all for 'world building' and it might be fun?! To keep it in the context of our game perhaps it could be part of Silk's informant network...hmmm something to ponder!

I was thinking more like a Seattle Data Haven that posts reports of the state of Seattle's Shadows and posts practical advice for runners. But if I have your blessing I can work up something here on Dumpshock. Sort of an "Runners from all perspectives" sort of thing...

Gimme this afternoon and I'll provide a starting point if you don't mind...it got me thinking about Silk and her network...yes, it will be a data haven of sorts (on a much smaller scale than ShadowSEA or Jackpoint), you can post as your own characters or any other denizen of the shadows that might reasonably be invited to access it
For some nice in game consistency let's use the format that is used for Virtual Underworld 93

Looks like we are now ready to push time forward to Wednesday night for you three, but I won't probably be able to do that for a couple of RL days.

Rave has eyes on and is supposed to find out all she can about D-Pop, and is maybe an ally of Vexboy as they share an interest in child trafficking.
Vexboy hopes to talk to her as she's supposed to know about a child sex slave shipment - but so far he hasn't been able to ID her in here...hoping for help from Rave or Pyotr.
Use your own threads if it's your own action, or if you approach another PC then use your own thread or theirs, and we'll then keep that interaction in that spot.
If we get to a point where it looks like peeople will be sticking together, then we can talk to Dire about some sort of thread consolidation magic on the admin side.

This works by each thread being combined into a single thread with all the posts from each thread in the new thread in the order they were originally posted. What this means is the best thread to combine are those where each post has a timestamp header in it. Otherwise where there are a series of posts in response to each other they may get disconnected because a post from the other thread may have been been posted in between those responses. e.g. just because post 1 and 2 in one thread are next to each other, when you combine posts that may longer be the case.

Up to you. Which options do you prefer? New Thread, use existing thread? Combining one or more threads? And even the option of renaming an existing thread and using it? I personally don't care which method. It's all the same to me.
Though since we didn't prepare to merge thread we should consider a new one or use a single of the existing ones for best flow for reading.

Yeah, now that we know about this cool bit of technological wizardry, we can maybe plan for a merged thread if I'm ever laid up in a hospital with eight broken bones for six months, and thus find myself with the time to take something like this on again!
Tentatively speaking, what if we drift towards consolidating in the DES thread, since that was the one with D-Pop's first appearance.
If that works out, we might rename the thread.
But really right now the most important thing is just cool roleplaying - don't let all this thread stuff affect your play!

You could always use one of the existing ones, DES as Adamu suggested, and mod the first post to include the links to the other sub IC threads?!? That way anyone picking up from scratch can still see the originals without any complicated merging!? The links should be copy/pastable from the master OoC...if I can catch up with the new ones anyway

Looks like we're moving everything over to DES' thread for the time being. Wanted to get my establishing post in Rave's thread and will bump future posts over there if that's the consensus

Once Vexboy started tailing D-Pop I thought of tossing in a post where DES spots the tail.
But looking the sheets and eyeballing the probabilities, I had to hold my tongue - seems there is very little chance of Vexboy being spotted in here if he doesn't want to be.

For the presnt moment, a few problems.
First, I have no idea what you are wanting to achieve with the roll - did you have a question of some sort?
Second, I really have to rule that you can only make a phychological analysis of someone after extensive observation and hopefully some conversation.
Third, and yeah, this is just me being cagey, I suppose i'll have to decide if D-Pop is a criminal....
Like I said, get yourself some face time and get me a question, and we'll talk again based on your roll.

AH CRAP! IT NEVER OCCURED TO ME THAT D-POP COULD BE INNOCENT...or you know... not a criminal in the strictest sense. Dang... should I just change it to psychology? Criminal psycholgy seems more like a specialization now that I think about it.
