Fortune--There are 2 types of Chem Protection, if the mod listed protects against inhalation, then it will add. If only contact, then it won't add.

Questions for Bishop-

1) IC post said smoke was beginning to "creep" under door, and it was indicated that if Flint closed his door it would prevent smoke from filling office. Am I to conclude that, as long as the bathroom door is shut, the smoke in the bathroom is in only very small quantities? (Naturally I am going crazy for having first contaminated and then vented my air tank right before the one scene where we get hit with poison gas! YIKES!!!)

2) Mitch was included in the initiative roster. Due to RedRightHand's lack of posting (a SERIOUS bummer - great posts from that guy), I know we have all been sort of writing him out of our posts, uncertain of the character/player's status. Since you have included him in the initiative, can I ask where our characters last saw him? Was he sleeping in the van? Did he come into the bar with us?

Adamu--as long as the door is shut, minimal amounts of smoke will filter into the room. When last seen, Mitch was in the bar. I'm including him in initiatives for a matter of continuity until such time as he takes a graceful exit offstage.

Amra--Simple to put on the respirator, simple to analyze.

In game terms, I will hold the delay until the end of the combat turn. If nothing comes through the door by then, I will take the following action so as not to waste my IP. Then start from scratch next combat turn.

In RP terms, Al basically feels like he is still on delay, but slips the following action in while still being "ready."

My action will/would be to simply use the whole complex/free to whisper into my commlink - "Clara shows and has shown no movement out back. Waitress appears unaware anything's happening."

Bishop - hated to waste that action on comms that are probably now meaningless, but I reckon Al doesn't know Pesto's already tipped to the enemy hack.

Don't know how much of my actions that little speech takes, or what sort of action a Memory test is, but if it can be squeezed in, Al will think back on the image of Hayden while looking at the current feed -
any chance there is a loop there?

I didn't mention this to you before but Pesto's icon is a floating, sauce covered meatball with eyes, mouth and arms.

If the doll doesn't get to attack before pesto's next action he will attack it by throwing smaller meatballs at it.

Defense if needed: Response + Stealth
3,1,1,5,1,2,6,3,2,6 = 3 Hits.


Pesto's Attack if needed: Cybercombat + Attack(6)
3,4,2,2,6,3,6,3,1,2 = 2 Hits.

I assumed 'close the door' was one Simple Action, and 'get respirator' was another Simple Action. That's why he dropped the Roomsweeper (temporarily). If Ryan still has another Simple Action, I want him to pick up his damn gun again. smile.gif

I wish I had a third pass!

No, just as stated above - hold delay until end of combat turn, and if nothing happens take the action declared so that people can have that information before they declare their next combat turn's actions.

If it does, my first IP will be to use a free action to get it out and and another free action to put it on. Then a simple action to stand up.

Second IP just depends too much on information I get on what's outside the door to declare right now.

If there is no such oxygen mask,
first IP is simple action to stand up, free action for ongoing comms, and last simple action delayed to shoot anything coming through door.

Again, second IP depends on information flow.

TABLE TALK: Al unlikely to leave bathroom before he thinks the team's gunslinger has swung into action, or before he coordinates some move with team's gunslinger.

to free action get it out, free action shoot it into tank, simple action stand up for first IP.

EDIT - Actually, while I believe Al has the ability to shoot the air into his tank in a free action (Use Simple Object = Simple Action --> Free Action), I recognize it will take more than a split second to empty into the tank. So when I say shoot it into tank, I mean attach the capsule to the intake under my ribs and open her up - I'll just leave it fastened there to do its thing.

I actually figured opening the door would take a whole Complex Action. If not, I don't really want him to take the shot yet and scare away the others (and he doesn't have a silenced pistol ready).

I'm a bit confused though (or maybe I just think I am), so let me see if I have the scene straight. The chick walking in the bar is the other barmaid-type chick that was expected? And she came in the front door? And there are 'others' at the back door? It is these 'others' that threw in the grenade-like object? None of these 'others' (from what Ryan knows at the moment) has yet entered the bar?

How much of that is wrong? biggrin.gif

Fortune--According to Clara, the other bartender is standing at the front door. She has unlocked but not opened it yet. Clara never reported movement at the back door, though it was opened and the grenade tossed in.

Ryan is the only one with information about the person or people at the back door. One of the "others" is wearing high heels and moving down the hallway.

Thus far no one has made visual contact with the person coming in the back door due to the smoke and other factors (hiding etc).

Ahhh, ok. I think I got it. In that case, Ryan will take a shot (or three) at the first opportunity. (He seems to be developing a bad habit of having the wrong damn guns in his hands! biggrin.gif)
