Perception for the search. I left out vis/audio enhance as she's using at least three senses during it, probably 4

14 dice = 5 hits

That as nice.

If an enhancement would apply

3 dice =3 hits!!!!

So 5 or 8 hits.

Sorry for being quiet several other games mostly IRL have been eating my brain.
amra28
Pesto's new loaded programs:

Analyze, Armor, Attack, Stealth, Biofeedback filter, edit, browse, medic, decrypt, command
Response -1

initiative just in case:
5,4,3,4,4,2,3,2,3,6,6 = 3 Hits = 12 Initiative

Let me know if or what you want me to roll to create an admin account for Bubbles

BishopMcQ
Data Search to find the file, then Edit to make the adjustment.
amra28
Data Search + Browse:
1,6,3,3,3,5,5,3,2,4 = 3 Hits

Amra--Done and Done.
DireRadiant
Buying all hits to make this easier, and all I'm doing is being a spider sprite punch bag or web target.

Login, get their attention, let them attack, and go full matrix defense

3 IP
AR Reaction 9 + WR2 2 + Init 2 hits

Matrix Full Defense
Response 4 + Firewall 5 + Hacking 4

Damage resist
System 4 + Armor 0

Let's see how long she lasts, and if it's enough time for Pesto to do something.
BishopMcQ
Can I get some attack rolls from Amra/Pesto and then I'll bump through the combat?
amra28
Not sure how many rolls you were looking for so here are a few:

Team--Sorry for the lack of posts this week. A new writing project fell into my lap which I need to have a rough draft by this weekend for. Unfortunately that needs to take priority for me. Thank you for your patience and expect a post from me this weekend.
Fortune
No problem. Priorities and all that ... smile.gif
Ophis
I'm about to be away for about a week. You'll probably not notice giving my post rate here biggrin.gif. maybe the matrix combat will be over once I'm back wink.gif. If it comes up Sun is flirting with Flint. If anything comes up from that assume filthy behaviour.
Fortune
Sure! You say that now, when you're going away and all it would amount to would be playing with myself. nyahnyah.gif frown.gif biggrin.gif
Ophis
But I always figured you were an expert at that. wink.gifnyahnyah.gif
Fortune
That just means I don't need more practice. biggrin.gif
adamu
Eager to hook back up with the others, was tempted to add "And just in time, too. He didn't figure it would be long now before they rolled into Tarislar."

But didn't know if that was actually cool.
amra28
Analyze:

5,3,5,1,3,2,5,6,2,6 = 5 Hits

Adamu--it would have been fine.

Team--the van has just entered Tarislar and is about five minutes from the church.
Fortune
Yay! biggrin.gif

Well, that's five minutes any of the three of us can make go away right quick with an arrival post...

But unsure whether there is still more hacking to be done...a lot of which can happen in five minutes.

So if you guys are still busy with that stuff, I am happy to hold off.

On the other hand, if you are done for now, let us know or just go ahead and post the arrival.
amra28
Pesto uses his medic program on Tara's icon. If she really is a Technomancer this won't do anything for her but Pesto doesn't know that.

5,4,6,2,1,5,5,3,1 = 4 Hits

http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/1526775/

Other then this I am out of ideas. So unless someone else wants us hackers to try something then I guess we can arrive.
DireRadiant
Worth a try, and good thinking. Be interesting if it does work.
adamu
Yeah - that's a very cool thought. Could learn a lot from the outcome....
Ophis
I'm back. That's all for now, I'm just looking forward to getting to RP with the rest of the group.
Fortune
Were you gone? biggrin.gif

Thoughts on safehouse activity:

While Pesto and Bubbles get the two girls inside, Al will be policing up all their stuff.

Still wondering about what Hayden was carrying. Last IC mention was when Ryan stripped her.
I have mentioned this in OOC post #s 729,739, and 749.
Fortune, did Ryan take it, or is it maybe in the van? Could we have carelessly left it?
I'll probably have Al look for it in my next IC.

One priority, for Al at least, will be sleep. Maybe a few more short actions, but basically it's time to be a good little role-player and catch 40 winks.

Also, I think we are still hauling Mitch's body around.

But other stuff needs doing, just off the top of my head:

Examine aerosol found in Tara's shoe. (Carefully, since we have not determined what the detonator she was carrying in her shoe was for.)

Inventory Hayden's stuff - useful in itself, but maybe also she went into the bar to GET something - she must have had some reason to take all of us on, and it was that or a rescue of Tara. So if it was an item, she probably has it.

Does Bubbles still have the RFID we found in the Ragman?

Start data searches or calls to contacts on that clinic where we think the main lab might be.

And of course interrogate the girls.

Since Hayden went all cowgirl to maybe save Tara, the fact that we have both alive could be a huge interrogation bonus....

And besides having not talked to Hayden, I think Tara knows a lot more than she said (or a lot DIFFERENT than she said - her Ragman story only rang half true based on things we know).

A quick list of interrogation topics:

We need to interrogate Hayden.
How to find Keith?
Who is the Major? Who is the other faction?
Where is Location Bravo?
Security at South Seattle Medical Center?
Who has she told there is trouble - how long for a response to the bar burning, them going missing?
How did she hack Mitch? How does the drug work? Are there different forms?

Finally, I guess it's pretty obvious from my earlier IC post that Al has pretty much decided he's not going to be cool with any girl-prisoner executions. Now, he may or may not be sleeping sooner or later, and I'm sure not telling anyone else what to do with their players, but I just thought I'd toss out there that that dynamic may be present as we go into dealing with the girls.
Fortune
Ryan stripped her and put the crap all in a pile. Later he went through and checked for weapons, but even later he threw the bag with the weapons in the back of the van. All of these actions were done IC. He didn't mess with anything else, but we had quite a bit of time, so I am sure someone checked the pile of stuff out.
BishopMcQ
Dire--Were you taking any actions to ascertain why the signal dropped?

Just to verify which signal dropped, the details are left to Pesto to work on.
BishopMcQ
The signal from Tara which was still leaking past the jammer is the one that dropped.
amra28
Analyze on changes in tara's node

1,2,5,6,5,4,3,1,1,4 = 3 Hits

http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/1530413/

Anyone have any thoughts I am all ears.
BishopMcQ
Tara's node is rating 4. There are no active alerts.
adamu
Inventory

Besides two naked and half-dead girls....

Things I know we have:

Desktop forge

Contents of box behind bar - in Al's pockets

Various crap from Ragman (who has the RFID we took out of him?)

Tara's reversible red/blue plaid skirt, blouse, boots with removable platform hidden compartments, and I assume socks & panties

Tara's compressed T-shirt, skirt & panties

Tara's underwire monowire (garrot?)

Tara's unidentified aerosol and Bubbles-claw-pinched detonator

(No money at all found on her? Weird, since TMs by themselves have no storage capacity.)

***

When we picked up Axe, I took his shotgun ammo. Not sure what else was taken or by whom - we assumed at the time that any cred/the commlink belonged to Bubbles per our original loot agreement - not sure if she kept all that.

***

Ryan took shotgun from bar, and any weapons from Hayden.
Which weapons may have been....? If it's something only Ryan is privy to, that's all cool.

Hayden's other stuff? Per IC, Al is checking in van for it. I'd like to think we took it, in the spirit of assumed common sense actions, but it is true that no one specifically declared taking it so far as I can find.
Objective Observer? Al find anything in van besides above-listed inventory items (and Pesto's stuff, of course)?

To be honest, if I was told, I sure don't remember. I seem to recall a slivergun somewhere along the line, but that might be my imagination.
Ophis
I think Sun may bave Ragman's RFID tag.
adamu
Good to know. Thanks.

If so, please note that I haven't been able to find a post in which we specified disabling it....

You might want to post doing that or making sure you did that or something, as just one more door to close on possible nasty surprises.
BishopMcQ
Inventorying Hayden:
tres-chic Longcoat (Equivalent to Zoe Long Jacket)
Armored clothing (woman's slacks and blouse)
Designer shoes with a 3" heel
Platinum ring w/diamond inset
AVS

The covered platter she was carrying:
1 grenade (appears to be smoke)
2 extra clips for AVS
1/2 dozen danishes
adamu
Sweeeet.
This obviously necessitates a thoroughgoing series of Perception tests and searchings and divvyings (and eatings).

Al is currently chatting with Ryan outside, so if anyone wants to start on that before I get in there. Or else I will do it soon enough.

Obviously we know Ryan has the AVS.

If there's nothing hinky about it, I suppose the jewelry must go to loot-queen Bubbles.

Most interesting thing is that she had the grenade and spare clips in with the danish tray - so she knew she was coming after us at least as far back as some point before she was fumbling with her keys at the front door - and still didn't call for any sort of back up...reinforces personal interest idea, or the fact that she doesn't have access to that many resources here in Seattle???? Just thinking out loud.

Conversations with both young women are certainly in order.
Fortune
Ryan does not have the AVS. He doesn't even have the shotgun from behind the bar any more. He put them both in a bag and chucked them in the back of the van back at the bar.

Getting to the IC now. smile.gif
adamu
Another quick question, probably for Fortune/Ryan - what finger was the diamond ring on?
Fortune
Shrug ...

I'll ask. wink.gif

Bishop: On which finger did Ryan find the diamond ring?
BishopMcQ
Left hand, ring finger. As was mentioned in Adamu's post, there is a band where the skin is lighter than the rest of her tan.
Fortune
adamu: Ryan seems to recall that the ring in question was on the ring finger of her left hand. One might even spot evidence of its long-time presence on the finger in question if one were to look. wink.gif biggrin.gif
adamu
Cool - so odds are she has a significant other that she is currently happy about her relationship with...but is it Tara or someone else?
Fortune
Can't help you with that, but if you have something else that you need me to ask the GM about, just let me know. biggrin.gif
adamu
Not at the moment, but I appreciate your helpful nature!

No, sorry, just felt weird taking the question straight to the Objective Observer about something that would have been done by your character.
Fortune
It's cool. For a moment though, it kind of reminded me of the olden, golden days of passing notes to the GM and the like ... wink.gif biggrin.gif
adamu
Well - here's my next note!

Going to have to be offline for about the next three days. As usual, don't let that stop anything - Objective Observer has the dice and the charsheet.

In any case, once he's done examining all the stuff, Al is headed for a quiet corner for a nap.
Fortune
That's going to be quite convenient in a couple of hours. biggrin.gif
BishopMcQ
Is anyone throwing dice to look at the pile of scraps that used to be armored clothing? Otherwise, I'll push on to the interrogation.

Ophis/Fortune--Since I presume you two will be doing most of the interrogation type activities, are there situational mods you would like to set up while they are unconscious?
Fortune
Um ..... dunno! biggrin.gif

I assumed we were doing it the same as last time, with Sun doing the questioning and Ryan doing the posturing. wink.gif
