Bubbles is into teamwork, but often works independently or with others.
Pesto is used to working in a structured team with clearly defined roles. As for whether or not we have worked together before or not either way works for me.
Maybe a combination of the two, where some have worked together before but others are pulled in by the fixer?
As an aside, is it possible to get the characters' respective races put into the top post?

Human, as McQ said melee weapons, going Adapt with it also.
Axe - Definitly a lone gunner, however he has been a guide in the wastelands of Aferica and South America so he knows how to wok with a team, has a trust thing with most people though.
He will work as a team as long as it benefits him and the other members are competent, he is not as ass but he can't stand stupidity. He calls it as he see's it and doesn't like politics or beating around the bush.
Axe would know most fixers that have to do with travel and Corps who need people dug out of wastelands or information about Awaked animals ect.
I have no problem with knowing fixers from all over teh world since Axe is a very specialized guy he is caled upon by all ranges of people from all over =P

So what is the general area of BP's being thrown around?
I always have trouble with "open ended" character creation, because on one hand I know what the character should have given his background, but on the other hand you don't want to make him "complete" and then have no where else to go with him after the game starts.

Sun due to background reasons comes out moderatly hard but is built from a 330pt start and then I've put quite a lot of karma to get her up to somewhere in a 450 to 500 region, but I haven't power gamed her much (nothing maxed, about 34 Bp equiv spent on Knowledges...)

Sun is a team player as she couldn't do most runs on her own. Her major trick is Legwork, she's social skills and perception mostly.

IIRC, most of us were coming in at around the 450 BP mark ... give or take a few.
Sun will probably know some team members but may not have done many runs with them. She may have been an extraction target for some, they may not realise this as he r appearence is variable.

Al has only ever been on one "shadowrun" in his life, which ended badly a few weeks before this campaign kicks off. So he would definitely not be part of an established team.

He has also been in Seattle for less than a year, and mostly knows only dock workers.
But it is certainly possible that he could already know some of the other characters, though personally I'd prefer a clean slate in terms of relationships with other team members.
At the start of the campaign (if I get my 'druthers) he'll be slumming around sleazy waterfront dives dropping names and trying to get more "shadowrun" jobs, 'cuz he's broke and that last one paid real good, even if it did go south.

Bubbles is a thief. She steals stuff. She lives a "street" lifestyle, conning her way through life stealing little things, big things, and things that no one in their right mind would steal. She can hack because you need to in order to steal some of the more valuable devices. That's the only reason she hacks. She's young, social, and has origins as a street ganger. In fact, in many ways she's still a street ganger. She'd be a petty street criminal, except she isn't petty, and she's skilled enough to make a decent living stealing and not get caught.
She's also a small troll... relatively. So while trolls are reputed to be big combat monster machines, she obviously isn't anywhere near the same as some of the big monster trolls you've seen. Still, she's bigger then any other non troll, and is capable enough to not get hurt in a fight. Fights are kind of exciting, but dangerous, people get hurt, so it's always a struggle against temptation when there's a fight. Stealing is just exciting, and people don't get hurt! Better to steal stuff.

I have no objections to Pesto working with anyone before. He is a rather friendly, likable fellow.
One thing to keep in mind though is that he is relatively new to Seattle, probably less than half a year.

I'm easy. Ryan could have worked with any of the others at one time or another, but would probably not be part of a regular 'team' ... at least not as yet.
Axe has been mostly indipentdent, possibly worked with others but i doubt it as mst i assume are North America based.

I really need to read everyone else's open BG idea's before I make more comment on that. But I like the idea of her knowing Bubbles, looks like the Troll Cick is the centre of the group, which is cool.

Dire, this is fine with me. I definitely like the "planning" part - I think it's best they haven't actually "done" any of that yet - though come Monday, anything goes!

Amra23 what part of the world is Pesto from? H ecould knwo Sun having worked for the same people, theone form of info grabbing she doesn't do is matrix stuff (yet). Her background would work well for her knowing and working with a decker.

He's a blond. Ryan's alright looking, but he isn't what you'd call typical in the 'ephemeral' way that is usually associated with elves.
Not that he looks anything like a human! Perish the very thought.

Under her glowing chrysanthemum flowered see thru rain slicker is her four color Dazzle pattern camouflage jumpsuit in Glowing Puce Green, Violent Magenta, Tokyo Neon Yellow, and California Blazing Orange. Clear plastic slip ons reveal her artistically painted toe nails with a variety of the latest holovid cartoon show characters in cheery poses. Around her waist is a worn utilitarian brown leather tool belt with a variety of standard hardware tools and measuring devices. Stuck in one of the tool belt holders is the latest issue of Teen!, with the cover of Simplicity, the latest hot synth sensation. The belt buckle is a large shield emblazoned with a horned troll head over a script "E Simpson".
She's constantly chewing gum, blowing bubbles of various sizes, and continuously moving about, tapping feet to music, picking things up and examining them, occasionally taking them apart or checking them with her metering tools.
