Happy new year everyone! Today is my first day back at work, and consequently, the first day of the Team Effort IC. I need everyone to be thinking about what they want out of this game, and what there idea of a team is. The IC thread will start tonight. Those of you who have gamed with me before know I don't like to waist time. I would also like everyone to go back and read the 1st OOC post again, just to make sure you understand the rules for our little drama.

Ok, now people can post the wheres and what fores of the characters. It's Thursday nigh, November 10th. The only requirment is that you be in Seattle, and not in jail or something, the rest I leave to your imagination (remember PG-13 imagination).

Thanks for letting Mirage keep her custom gun, I actually sent the wrong copy of her character sheet by mistake, that was her "reign of shadows" sheet. The sheet that I should have sent had a Savelette instead, but I would have asked if she could keep the custom manhunter anyway if you hadn't said no begging in your original post.

If you like you can make the gun use the same burst fire rules as the savelette (ie one burst per complex action), just let me know before the first IC combat so that I can post accordingly.

I've been getting up to date on forum today, I'll post IC tonight and will post regularly from then on.

Okay, sorry for the somewhat legnthy post in the IC. I thought it was good to set the mood. I hope I did a good job introducing Ohanzee to everyone who's not yet familiar with him.
If I set the mood to dark, I apologize. Been reading a lot of William Gibson lately... But that's just how Ohanzee is. People who've already played with me are used to this.

Shadow, I don't know what you define as PG-13. I'll try to keep 'foul'-language out but if my descriptions get too graphic or too dark, just tell me, 'k?
I'm planning to take Ohanzee quite a bit further than I did in the past games so this might uncover some pretty dark parts of his personality. If you've read his background you basically now what to expect but I might go a little further than that... just so you know. If I slip too far out of the PG-13 area into the adult area, let me know.

And I do have some plans to change his life in the near future, so be prepared for some initiative from my part. Some of it has been hinted at in my little introduction.

Danny's Description

Daniel is slim and wiry, standing 1.81m tall, and weighing in at 75kg. He has a fair complexion, emerald green eyes, and close-cropped, jet black hair trailing to a small, braided ponytail in back. He sports a tattoo of a leaping leopard across his right chest and shoulder, and a small amethyst teardrop pendant dangles from the lobe of his left ear. Daniel tends to speak English with a southern 'twang', and when preoccupied, will occasionally be heard to utter a curse in French. He normally dresses casually, usually in the 'jeans and t-shirt' style, and often wears a black Stetson. His worn leather jacket bears the 'Gibson's Gypsies' logo; a t-bird superimposed over a burning Aztech pyramid.

Okay, did I get that right, the calls are coming in the middle of the night? She was at the meeting at 2200, so getting home and going through files for two hours I would estimate that she would start making calls at 0100, right? Just so I know what Ohanzee will be doing. Seelping probably, though his pensum of sleep for the day should be about filled at that time. But the call, if made to his cyberphone, will jolt him to instant wakefullnes.

As I missed it before, here's a descirption of Ohanzee:
Ohanzee is a tall, impressive Native American with long black hair and brown eyes. His right arm, parts of his torso and legs and a bit of his neck have scars from severe burnings, which he usually tries to hide. Normally he wears his hair open to cover the scars but when he goes on runs or sees a fight coming up he ties it back to a pony tail for practical reasons.
He mainly wears black and artfully braided real leather clothing and he usually tries to cover the scars by wearing something with a high collar. Most of his equipment is usually coated with this artfully braided black leather, like the quiver for his arrows or the sheath for his sword.
When not talking to close friends he is usually very reserved. He shows hardly any emotions on his face and it's always hard to tell what he things about a given situation. He avoids any uneccesary movement or word and if he moves or talks he does so very precisely and effectively.
His english is very good and cultivated and he usually talks in a very calm and quiet tone.

Well, this should be enough. You'll find out the rest in the game.

BTW: Shadow, as a German I have to say your translations are... priceless (for the lack of a better word)! Where do you get them? Do you talk German yourself or do you use a translator? If you let any help, let me know... But I don't think anyone here is caring much for linguistical corectness and I make enough mistakes with my English as well...

Ghost Dragon is a male elf. He is six feet tall and slender. His straight hair is all white and worn loose at shoulder length. His skin is very pale and almost white. His eyes are a pale blue color. Ghost Dragon typically dresses in all black, usually wearing expensive Tres Chic clothing, dress shoes, gloves, a long coat of some kind, and sunglasses. He takes off his sunglasses only when talking business or giving orders. He believes that allowing people to see his eyes during those times is very important. At other times, hiding them works better.

By the way, I'm assuming that Zoe told Ghost Dragon the address of the warehouse right?

Jessie is human, racially she is half-amerindian and half-white. She stands about 5'10" and has a fairly athletic build. For starters, shes gorgeous (Good Looking and Knows It). Shes got a great body and makes sure to take care of it (she is a Face after all). Her normal outfit consists of tight fitting black leather body suit with a black leather long coat worn over that.

Jessie has made a name for herself in the years that she has been a Shadowrunner (Good reputation 2). Shes a shrewd negotiator, quick and deadly with her pistols, a wiz with electronics, and stealthy has hell. Shes built a rep for being a professional that goes out of her way to make sure that no needless deaths take place on her runs. She almost always uses non-lethal methods in combat, only using deadly force when absolutely necessary. She sometimes comes off as bossy, but its more just her wanting to get things done right and if someone stops her to give an opinion, she is always open to it.

Mirage is human and from Marseilles, France. She can speak fluent accentless English , but prefers to use her native accent.

She is 28 years old, 5'3" tall, has a gymnasts build, and is very good looking (good looking & knows it edge). She's white with lightly tanned skin, black hair cut in a bob and brown eyes.

She has very little noticeable cyberware, her two small datajacks behind her left ear are normally hidden by her hair, she has an induction pad in her right palm, and her natural looking eyes are actually cosmetically mod'ed cybereyes.

She always dresses in smart casual clothes from top Parisian fashion-houses. She normally wears a top, plus trousers and low heeled boots, she rarely wears skirts or dresses, except when the occasion demands it.
She also wears light grey, ankle length, hooded, "cloak like" long coat, also from Paris.

She is a former bodyguard, who has developed a good-rep (level 2) as a street-samurai, she always uses her gold-plated burst-firing Manhunter in preferance to heavier weapons, but also packs an MGL-6 for emergencies.

She's pretty friendly and sociable for a street samurai.

Looks like Mirage and Jessie are modeled from the same template.

Shadow: I didn't see a post from you that Zoe actually made the phone calls yet, but see people posting as if that happened. Should we just post as if the calls are made, or wait for you to make a post about that?

Well, I basically only hopped onto the train as well, assuming that Shadow wouldn post the basically same phone call for every one of us and roleplay the dialog. That in itself would take forever.
So, since people where going ahead posting their responses, I did so as well... if we where supposed to wait I apologize.

Pitty I don't speak Sioux or Japanese. Those are the only other languages that Ohanzee can speak. Unfortunately he doesn't speak any German. I feel a little singled out here...

Way to take the helm!! I didn't actually make the calls but I can see from my wording how you would think that is the next step (which it was) so everyone go ahead and act as if you got a call from Zoe. The meet is at 0800 at the same warehouse Ghosdragon was given the address to. Zoe told GD, and everyone else to be there at 6 so that you could get to know each other a little before the J arrived.

Should have guessed. Sound's rather Babelfish-ish. But it's good to see that Babelfish does a much better job at translating English to German that German to English.

BTW: just for the correctness: Ohanzee is wearing for gear his small assortment of smaller arms. Two silenced Savalette Guardians with gel ammo, two Cougar Long Knifes and two Tomahawks. I don't think (don't hope) but just in case... so that no one can say I was making this up.

Well, that's a bear of a post. For reference, Warpath tried to call his arms dealer for some AV and APDS ammo. The rolls were bad, so I won't bother posting them.

He's a pretty nondescript human (he is a pretty big guy, though), currently wearing an Armante suit with a secure long coat over top of it. He's got a couple of Predators about his person, a holdout in an ankle holster, and a couple of grenades. In the bag is his stealth cloak and various bits of portable tech.

Alrighty...

Arden is about average height (1.7m), caucasian, pale blue eyes, and shoulder length straight black hair. He has a runners build, slim yet still fairly muscled. Despite being clean shaven and well groomed, he still looks like he should be sprawled out on a couch in someones doss.

At present he's wearing a pair of midnight blue cargo pants, a matching turtle neck shirt, and a sturdy looking pair black boots (well polished). Topping it all off with a leather aviators jacket (Crimson sky line), which has a rather well rendered image of a tank with a parachute attached on the back.

And... As for gear, just the Roadmaster, a Lynx, the Crimson Sky jacket, Alpha in the van, and a Pred in the back waistband with a clip in each pocket.

Sink is a very solid looking Troll in his twenties. He's about average height for his metatype, but very broad and thick, with a barrel chest and huge arms and legs. He moves suprisingly gracefully for his size though.

He's not very attractive, even for a Troll. His face and hands show some scarring and he has the look of someone who's had more than a little work done. He's bald with no eyebrows, and the texture of his skin is slightly off.

Leowulf, you may want to give Danny a chance to make a post. There is a good chance that he would check out the area astrally while we're all there and in that case, he would have seen you.
