Speaking of which, are you going to give me feedback on Danny's actions?
Shadow
Yes, he dies vegm.gif !

HAHAHAHA.

No seriously. Yes I am. In a few minutes even.

Cool. Catch ya next game. wink.gif
Raiko
[Mirage]

I've posted for two initiative passes worth, hopefully given surprise I can do both before they act, but I'd perform everything anyway unless I'm incapacitated. I've been very busy this week and I don't want to hold things up if I can't post again quickly.

Mirage's gun is normally loaded with EX-Explosive rounds.

Fast draw:
01 02 02 02 03 03 04 04 04 07

First shot:
01 02 03 03 04 05 08 10

Second shot + 2 combat pool:
02 02 03 03 04 04 10 10 / 04 14

Shadow
@ Raiko,

Your camo cloak saved your hoop. Resist two 11m's

*edit* and it is your turn again.
Leowulf
Damnit! I'm missing the fight! smile.gif

I take it that Ghost Dragon is still driving?
Shadow
@ Leowulf,

unles you have a hyperdrive installed, the fight is going to be long over before you get there.
Grey
@ Raiko

You made a phone call to Jessie, but there was never any dialog. She picked up but I never got a reply post from you about any reply. Did you tell Jessie what was going on, or no?
Fortune
Mirage did state that she 'calls Jessie's LTG number, using the pocket secretary connected to her other datajack, trying first for an encrypted connection, and fills her in on the situation.'
Grey
doh!

What a coincedence. I do have a hyperdrive installed, along with a flux capacitor and a mini spacejump drive. silly.gif

So that gives me the option to get there in an instant or to go back in time once I get there. biggrin.gif

11M - 5 Armour (Long coat & partial FFBA) = TN6

First body roll + Plastic Bone Lacing + 3 Combat Pool
09 07 07 04 01 05 / 09 05 01 biggrin.gif

Second Body Roll (3 Combat Pool Again)
08 01 05 04 01 01 / 03 04 05 frown.gif
-- 05 02 04 03 01 / 07 03 05 (1 karma pool to reroll)

@Shadow
Would it have been possible for me to use the combat roll dice to dodge instead (rolling out from under the table), if so then I'd have used the 3 dice for each shot, and not rerolled. I'll post IC as soon as I know.
Grey
As far as I know, if you want to use Combat Pool on a defencive roll, you roll those first at TN4. If you get more successes than the attack did to hit, then you dodge completely.
Raiko
Yeah, I'm hoping that the two successes on each dodge roll will avoid both shots, (given that the damage wasn't staged up).

I just rolled everything at once, as I'm not sure whether Shadow will allow a dodge roll as I'm under the table.
Shadow
Sorry Raiko but I don't think so, I am pretty sure you have to declare and roll for dodge at the beginning of your turn. You could do it now with whatever dice you have left, but you can't do it retroactively.

It didn't stage up because the TN to hit you was so astronomically high that they only got a single success each.
Grey
Thats how White-Wolf works, but Shadowrun is different. On page 113 of SR3 it says the rolling order goes: Attack Test, Dodge Test, Damage Resistance Test.
Shadow
I want to move the game along, and I don't want to get bogged down in the rules, so I am going to make a decision and that is law.

You can either have the benefit of a Ruthyium Polymer cloak or you can dodge, you can't have both.

because I don't want to re roll the attacks (I already described them IC) I am going to say in this instance, no you can't use your combat pool to dodge. In the future you can, but I would like you to declare it before you attack (you being everyone).

Just so were clear,

the TN to hit her was like 12 because she was hiding with the polymer. If she were to dodge she wouldn't be hiding, the polymer would be less effective. What I don't want is a situation where someone hides, makes the TN to hit them incredibly high, Then if they actually get hit, dodge to avoid it. To me, this seems like a double negative. You were so hard to hit because you are practically invisible, but then as a player when you realize you got hit, you dodge.

I hope everyone understands this decision. So moving on. Raiko post away.
Grey
Totally cool, sorry if I upset you, I just wanted to point it all out. But I'm a bigger fan of the Golden Rule than I am of the core rules.
Raiko
@Shadow
That's fine by me, that's why I asked. I'll use the karma point and take a light wound as per my post.

Nice Raiko.

TKG your up.
grimshear
Basically Arden is going to go as fast as he figures he can get away with. He knows it won't be in time to help, but he can at least give a hand with cleanup.

Any rolls that need to be made, just gimme a heads up.
TinkerGnome
Throw a grenade:

10 05 01 01

Warpath is using ultrasound and infrared to sight by. He's got 6 points of thermal dampning on the cloak, as well. He'll be moving straight toward the goons, sliding diamond coated blades from beneath his fingernails for the close-in work that's about to follow.

If this is the last pass in the turn for him, he'll be allocating his entire pool to dodging hits. If it's not, he'll allocate half.
Smed
I'm assuming at the moment that Sink knows nothing about the fight and is coming back in no hurry.
Shadow
Just so you know, the two guards are going to be on either side of you.
Shadow
@ TKG,

ressist 2@ 11M and 1@11S
Shadow
Oh yeah, I need driving tests from everyone driving.

Grim, Leo and Sandman I think.

@ Smed, since you don't know I assume you are still driving the neighbor hood, getting the lay of the land very wise.
TinkerGnome
Did that take into account combat pool for dodging (last OOC)? Otherwise, that's a LOT of successes for the kinds of TNs they should be rolling against.

I'd roll right now, but I need to know how much pool I used up doing the dodging.
Shadow
Doh!

Ressist 1@11m

Sorry forgot to take into account the dodge, since you are make sure you describe it IC.

EDIT

It is the last pass for you, so I rolled your whole pool.
TinkerGnome
I also mentioned it OOCly wink.gif Resisting 11m with 8 body and 6 ballistic:

11 10 08 04 03 03 02 01 #D:8 TN:5 HR:11 S:3

He'll take a light wound, looks like. If he'd had pool left over he would have used it, as well.

Oh, and next round initiative: 12+ 05 03 03 - wound penalties = 22 (probably)
Shadow
I meant work it into the way he moves, not because I missed it or anything.
Shadow
Raiko, your up, you have the last action.
TinkerGnome
QUOTE (Shadow)

Heh, I wasn't sure you did, I was just momentarily terrified that I'd jumped into a firefight much larger than I thought it was wink.gif. Next round I get to see how melee works wink.gif Hopefully the answer is "well" wink.gif
Fortune
Da do do do
Da da da da
That's all I've got to say to you. smile.gif

For the moment, anyway. wink.gif

Until Tuesday, I'm not going to have a lot of computer access, after that I'll be on my regular all day posting frenzy.

Shadow
@ Leowulf,

Can you change your post? Like I said earlier, this fight will be over before your character even got back to his bike. Only eight seconds has gone by since the Germans entered the bar. There is just no way Leo could get back in time to affect the outcome, let alone hear gunfire. Don't take this the wrong way, I'm not coming down on you, I just need to keep the two timelines separate. Soka?

EDIT

I changed it to reflect your bike.
Leowulf
Sure. No problem.
grimshear
Alrighty... here be my driving test:

Base TN: 3 (Handling-1 as per Vehicle Empathy)
Possible Mods:
--Weather: +2(bad, snowstorm), +4(Terrible, blizzard)
--Terrain: Restricted +1 (Suburban Streets)
--Rigger in control: -2

For the hell of it, I'll do 2 tests, Using 5 Control Pool for both.
Test 1: 2, 4, 4, 4, 5, 7, 7, 8, 12, 12
Test 2: 1, 2, 2, 3, 4, 5, 8, 10, 13, 17

In short, I make the road mine biggrin.gif

ROUND 2 *Ding*

Init from all parties involved.

@ Fortune, perception check please.

Shadow
@ Everyone,

I apologize if some of you feel left out. Rest assured everyone will get an opportunity to showcase their special talents.

Please refrain from posting IC until this fight is resolved. It will help us avoid confusion. I think it should be over right quickly.

Shadow
Raiko, Mirage is just baad.

TKG, you have until 6pm (PST) tonight to roll your init.

Like that wink.gif

Anyway, Warpath will melee one of the thugs, attempting to use him as cover against his friend. He has a +1 wound penalty and whatever other modifiers.

To Hit: 15 08 07 07 07 04 03 03 03 02 01
Damage: 15M + Gamascopaline at the end of the round

He will also be setting aside his entire combat pool for dodging this round.
Shadow
I'm sory TKG, I guess I missed that.

Raiko your up. Then TKG, then the bg's.
Fortune
Meanwhile, Danny's being either quite observant, or blissfully ignorant (or even both!). biggrin.gif
