I've posted for two initiative passes worth, hopefully given surprise I can do both before they act, but I'd perform everything anyway unless I'm incapacitated. I've been very busy this week and I don't want to hold things up if I can't post again quickly.
Mirage's gun is normally loaded with EX-Explosive rounds.
Fast draw:

You made a phone call to Jessie, but there was never any dialog. She picked up but I never got a reply post from you about any reply. Did you tell Jessie what was going on, or no?
Fortune

Mirage did state that she 'calls Jessie's LTG number, using the pocket secretary connected to her other datajack, trying first for an encrypted connection, and fills her in on the situation.'

What a coincedence. I
do have a hyperdrive installed, along with a flux capacitor and a mini spacejump drive.
So that gives me the option to get there in an instant or to go back in time once I get there.

[Mirage]11M - 5 Armour (Long coat & partial FFBA) = TN6
First body roll + Plastic Bone Lacing + 3 Combat Pool09 07 07 04 01 05 / 09 05 01
Second Body Roll (3 Combat Pool Again)08 01 05 04 01 01 / 03 04 05
-- 05 02 04 03 01 / 07 03 05 (1 karma pool to reroll)
@ShadowWould it have been possible for me to use the combat roll dice to dodge instead (rolling out from under the table), if so then I'd have used the 3 dice for each shot, and not rerolled. I'll post IC as soon as I know.
Grey
Feb 12 2004, 06:36 PM
As far as I know, if you want to use Combat Pool on a defencive roll, you roll those first at TN4. If you get more successes than the attack did to hit, then you dodge completely.
Raiko
Feb 12 2004, 06:43 PM
Yeah, I'm hoping that the two successes on each dodge roll will avoid both shots, (given that the damage wasn't staged up).
I just rolled everything at once, as I'm not sure whether Shadow will allow a dodge roll as I'm under the table.
Shadow
Feb 12 2004, 06:58 PM
Sorry Raiko but I don't think so, I am pretty sure you have to declare and roll for dodge at the beginning of your turn. You could do it now with whatever dice you have left, but you can't do it retroactively.
It didn't stage up because the TN to hit you was so astronomically high that they only got a single success each.
Grey
Feb 12 2004, 07:04 PM
Thats how White-Wolf works, but Shadowrun is different. On page 113 of SR3 it says the rolling order goes: Attack Test, Dodge Test, Damage Resistance Test.
Shadow

I want to move the game along, and I don't want to get bogged down in the rules, so I am going to make a decision and that is law.
You can either have the benefit of a Ruthyium Polymer cloak or you can dodge, you can't have both.
because I don't want to re roll the attacks (I already described them IC) I am going to say in this instance, no you can't use your combat pool to dodge. In the future you can, but I would like you to declare it before you attack (you being everyone).
Just so were clear,
the TN to hit her was like 12 because she was hiding with the polymer. If she were to dodge she wouldn't be hiding, the polymer would be less effective. What I don't want is a situation where someone hides, makes the TN to hit them incredibly high, Then if they actually get hit, dodge to avoid it. To me, this seems like a double negative. You were so hard to hit because you are practically invisible, but then as a player when you realize you got hit, you dodge.
I hope everyone understands this decision. So moving on. Raiko post away.

Basically Arden is going to go as fast as he figures he can get away with. He knows it won't be in time to help, but he can at least give a hand with cleanup.
Any rolls that need to be made, just gimme a heads up.

Warpath is using ultrasound and infrared to sight by. He's got 6 points of thermal dampning on the cloak, as well. He'll be moving straight toward the goons, sliding diamond coated blades from beneath his fingernails for the close-in work that's about to follow.
If this is the last pass in the turn for him, he'll be allocating his entire pool to dodging hits. If it's not, he'll allocate half.

Did that take into account combat pool for dodging (last OOC)? Otherwise, that's a LOT of successes for the kinds of TNs they should be rolling against.
I'd roll right now, but I need to know how much pool I used up doing the dodging.

Oh, and next round initiative: 12+ 05 03 03 - wound penalties = 22 (probably)

@ Leowulf,
Can you change your post? Like I said earlier, this fight will be over before your character even got back to his bike. Only eight seconds has gone by since the Germans entered the bar. There is just no way Leo could get back in time to affect the outcome, let alone hear gunfire. Don't take this the wrong way, I'm not coming down on you, I just need to keep the two timelines separate. Soka?
EDIT
I changed it to reflect your bike.
