Raiko, Mirage is just baad. |
A few posts ago I thought she was going to be baad, and dead
I'm delaying my action.
In the unlikely event that either bg looks like they'll shoot before Warpath gets into melee, I'll shoot them twice.
Otherwise, as soon as Warpath enters melee with one bg, Mirage will immediately shoot twice at the other one.
Here's the dice rolls ready.
First Shot:05 05 04 04 03 02 02 01
Hmm, maybe not so good, so I'll use 3 combat pool for the second shot.Second Shot:10 07 04 04 04 03 03 02 / 04 02 01

Warpath is definitely expecting an ambush out the back door or out the end of whatever exit path it provides, if that matters

IIRC, Danny had a Watcher spirit set to guard his body, if you guys touch him the watcher would let Danny know about it.
Shadow

The guards are clean, no ID, credsticks or personal property. The only thing that could posibly id them is their clothes, the labels are in german. Sprekinzee doitz?

Four of them, in fact.

Actually... Warpath moved Danny before the firefight began. So the watchers probably went off then.

Sure, but it took a while (6 seconds) for his watcher so to find him
Ok TKG and Raiko, how are you guys getting out of there. The only exit besides the front door, is a door behind the bar.

Hi guys!
Sorry for my extended absence. Just wanted to announce that I'm somewhat back. Things still haven't quite returned to normal but I'm slowly recovering from several blows I had to take lately and I'm adjusting to the new circumstances in my life. Right now my online time is still limited since I just managed to totally blow apart my Linux system, which has been my main working system until two days ago, when I broke it. Since I don't really have any other system to use (I'm currently using Windows, which is installed on the same computer) I won't be online as often as I would like to. Most of the time while rebuilding the system I'll have to use one of those console based text browsers and DSF is very uncomfortable to read with that thing. I'll be able to follow the game but I don't think I'll be able to post a whole lot for the next days. I'll try my best though. I'll try to find time every now and then to boot to Windows to make a post and I'll try to get some kind of GUI and browser up and running as soon as I can (which will be very soon, I hope)
Anyways, just so that I can find my way back into the game: where's Ohanzee? I mean, I did follow the game but how does Ohanzee fit into the timeline? Does he arrive before or after Ghostdragon? Do they meet on the way? Are there any radio transmission telling him what's going on? It would be nice if Shadow could set me "back on track", if possible. I would really like to get going again.
Shadow
Feb 22 2004, 05:47 PM
GD left the scene first so he would have gotten back first, Ohanzee and the rest of the crew would have bene right behind him. I'll post today to get things back on track.
@ Mr. and Ms. Sandman,
You get hitched yet buddy?

Hey guys, a heads up here, I am feeling pretty sick, a head cold or something. My posts will be on the minimalist side here for the next few days until I am feeling better. PLease continue to post. Unless you need specific knowledge about something just assume any tests you make work (ie perception tests). I would like it if the game kept rolling.

Get well soon, dude!
Leowulf
Feb 26 2004, 03:33 AM
Here's a remedy that works well for me. Drink an entire bottle of plain V8 over the course of the morning, and follow it up with an entire bottle of 100% fruit juice during the evening - not that high fructose corn syrup crap! Juicy Juice is especially good because it has a low acidity and is easy on the stomach. Take the day off and lay in bed all day, except for bathroom visits. You might have mild diarrhea from the vegetable shock, but you'll feel tons better when you wake up the next morning. Take a Centrum at lunchtime for additional effect. Basically, this will add up to a little over 4000% of your RDA for vitamin C as well as double or triple what you require for all other vitamins, giving your body plenty of ammo to shoot at that cold bug. You'll also get plenty of fluids to flush your system clean. Eat heavy meals, like ham sandwiches.
Whether you decide to try that or not, I hope you feel better soon, Shadow.

What also works for me every time is the following: pour the fresh juice of a whole lemon into a cup. Fill the cup with hot water (close to boiling, like for tea). Sweeten with honey but not too much. drink as hot as possible. Repeat once a day for about two or three days.
Get well!

That is also great but sometimes not as readily available as lemons.
And then again there's always the chance of infecting your partner, which you may or may not care about. But then again, you don't necesarily
need a partner to have the healing effect of sex...

It not , and if Ghost Dragon is the only one without a (secure) radio, maybe he could provide astral cover during the run.

Wife waiting on me hand and foot
Followed with more computer games
repeat as needed
Oh yeah, don't forget the paid time off from work.

There is now a +3 TN to all driving tests, and a +3 TN to all visibility tests. The vis tests are only offset by thermal, not low light. It is also now damn cold outside). So unless you are wearing more than a coat, all tn's like Athletics, and stealth become much harder (from +1 to +4).
The good news is it is easier to hear someone sneaking up on you, so -2 tn to all perception tests involving hearing.
More bad news. Riding a motorcycle (without special modifications) will now become next to impossible. Double all tn's if you are riding a bike.

Why does it become easier to hear someone? Wind and snow tend to muffle noises rather than amplify them. But whatever you say, you're them GM.
Shadow
Feb 29 2004, 06:36 PM
The crunch crunch of walking in fallen snow is what I was getting at. Your right over distance snow absorbs sound. And wind muffles it. But I was thining more up close. It is easier to slap a generic number and keep track of it rather than for me to say "at 5 meters it goes up but for every meter after that it goes down".
It's not the most realistic but it works for me.
