Don't really have much to throw into the equation. Ohanzee is not a great negotiator and usually he doesn't do so but considdering he wasn't too happy about the job to begin with he is a bit dissappointed, upset and insulted by the behaviour of the Johnson. So he lost controll a bit...
I'm defaulting from Etiquette. For the numbers I could as well default from Intimidation, going by his aggressive style and his piercing stare but I think that wouldn't turn out too favorible results so I will use Etiquette.
Well anyway, here's what I can contribute:

You know, I have to say, it was nice to see a group of runners introduce themselves without one hand on their pistols, and another on their knives.
Smed probably recalls the horrible debacle that was the meet for
Razorblade Smile . that was a complete disaster. Anyway having said that, I am awarding everyone 1 point of karma on the spot for handling it so well.
Karma award: 1 pointAs a side note, how do you get stuff to cross out Grey?

German doesn't translate well into english
If he says anything aloud in German, and any of you can speak german, a language skill roll with a TN of 3 will get you a translation, the more successes the better the translations.
Raiko
Jan 8 2004, 11:41 PM
I figured you might say that, and Mirage doesn't speak German
Still I guess it's ok to keep translating online for myself, Mirage could do the same using her pocket secretary, I got the jist of what he said.

What would you like me to roll to see if I can figure out what is going on in his head (or at least get a feel for his emotional state). Perception? Charisma? Etiquette? Negotiations?
I'd also like to make a Corp Etiquette check to see if I recognise this slitch.

Whats the HR and S mean?
He seems unhappy to be dealing with the group, as if it is beneath him. He seams unhappy in particular having to deal with Jessie and Ohanze. He also seemed very interestred in Mirage untill she started pouring on the "I can kill you with my pinky" look
He seems somewhat open to a skilled eye, so you think he may be letting you see what he wants you too, or that he just doesn't care.

I just wish more people were online during the time when I can be here. I mean, it isn't like I'm not online enough, since I am usually checking back here off-and-on for 13-14 hours straight.
As to the game: I can post more, but I got the feeling I was stepping on Jr. Woodchuck's toes during the last game, and didn't want to seem like I was doing the same again here.
Shadow
Jan 9 2004, 03:11 AM
Jr just didnt have time to post in the last game, and I don't want anyone not posting cause they think there posting to much. You can't post to much. I won't let things move forwrd until I know everyone has had a chance to post. In the rules I mentioned that you had to be able to post once a day, I prefere 5 or 6 times
but I know that can be had for people who arn't hitting the refresh button every five seconds (like me).

Well, I'm the German in the group, so I'm pretty much with Raiko here (ok, one hour off...)
But at least this gives me the advantage to understand our Johnson (unless Babelfish is producing complete nonsense, like in the last post). And it's true, Babelfish doesn't do a good job translating German to English, especially if the German wasn't so high a quality, like the stuff coming from Babelfish...
Unfortunately I'm bound by several real life challenges, like going to university or having a girflriend. I'm online whenever I'm at home though, which is usually from 1400 hours to around midnigth GMT (Greenwich (sp?) Mean Time - British Time Zone)
Weekends are usually a little tough, since I usually do something with my gf all day, so I can post only in the morning or at night, if at all.

I like the gaggle of people going at the Johnson all at once when they all say the same thing. "That ain't no way enough money!"
As for perception (late, but whatever) 11, 7, 5, 4, 2, 1
And as to Ardens knowledge of German, it's nonexistant, but in something like the Legion, you would tend to pick up parts of the languges of people you serve with. Mainly the parts referring to bodily functions and unnatural acts, but learning insults in another language is half the fun!

Ok the bar has been 'introduced' take it from there.
From now on there is a +1 TN to driving tests due to the slick conditions. There is also a +1 TN to all vision perception tests when outside. This is only offset by thermal, not low light.
