I always knew the fiber-optic stuff allowed spellcasting, but didn't think it helped at all with actual perception. It's been a while since I looked at it though.

@ Everyone,
Just so we are all clear, you can astrally perceive through glass. Looking through a telescope or other magnifying object in no way ehnaces your astral perception.
@ Grim
I need Electronic or other applicablke roll from you for the electronics scan.
@ Smed, Grey, Raiko, TKG, Leowulf,
I need a perception check from you all.
@ Sandman, where is Ohanzee?

Since no one can find a reference, let's just leave things the way they are. I could see it going either way really. It's a grey area that requires a GM decision, and we have one.
Perception Roll: 5, 2, 2, 1, 3, 3

Ohanzee is basically totin' along and doing his recon thing. As I was stating above I really haven't got the time and leisure to come up with anything specific IC. If you want me to I'll do some IC rolls anyways.
Anyhoo, Ohanzee can't do much else than what Jessie did. Climbing around in trees and houses doesn't exactly look inconspicuous. Yet, if you want me to, I'll repeat all of Jessie's rolls. Maybe it turns out he'll notice something that Jessie didn't.
Here goes:
Perception: 8 4 4 2 1 1
+5 for hearing (filter): 13 8 5 3 1
Comlimentary skills:
Security Devices: 5 4 4 2 2 2
Security Systems: 9 5 4 2 2 1
Other possible comlimentaries that may or may not apply:
Psychology: 11 9 5 3
Cybertech: 5 1 1 1 (phew, close one!)
Magic (knowledge): 4 3 2
Stealth: 10 7 4 3 2 1
Stealth to stay unnoticed: 5 4 4 3 2 1
Of course all my sense enhancements are on. You have my character sheet so I won't list them all here.
I'll see when I can come up with someting IC but that may very well be after you post your IC, Shadow.

My pocket-sec has encryption(4), I'm assuming that if Jessie's phone is encrypted, the two phones will be able to poll each other or something in order to establish a secure link.

@ TKG,
Sweet, I was worried that you would miss combat, yet again.
Suffice to say you (Warpath) are not suprised. Mirage has been giving him the blow by blow the whole time. So you (Warpath) get one action before they get/open/destroy the door. So post what you want WP to do to prepare. You can do what he could do in 3 seconds.
Shadow
Feb 11 2004, 12:53 AM
@ Raiko,
it is obvious they intend to breach the door. You rolled the highest init (by far) so you can go before they do, unles syou want to hold your action. They are 6 meters away from you, and have partial cover (all the customers).
Grey
Feb 11 2004, 12:55 AM
Not to be argumentative, but wouldn't she get a surprise action plus her normal action once combat started?
Shadow

No.
