Sink is going inside to carry the target out of there. He'll be packing a T-250 Shortbarrel Shotgun loaded with Stun Rounds, and a second Shortbarrel with normal rounds. He'll also be carrying some Gas, Concussion, and Smoke Grenades, and a few throwing knives. He'll also be carrying his climbing gear. If he has to take someone out, hell try to do it in hand to hand.

Sorry y'all!
I've had no access for the past couple of days, and I apologize for holding things up. My access for the (hopefully only near) future will be spotty, as I'm in the process of moving and the net cafe I use is inconvenient to my new domicile.
I need my own dog-damned computer!
Anyway, on with the show.

Ok, great to see this threat moving again!
One more question: Did Jessie get those custom rounds? if so how many and for what kind of weapon? I don't remember her ever telling and I can't find it right now.
I know I asked her to get me "a handful" for "either my Remington or my Savalettes" depending on whether we want to ambush the bodyguard or face him in direct combat. Could anyone help me out on this one?
Let's get this baby going then! Yeehaaa!!!

Mar 16 2004, 05:03 PM
Thats a good question. I assume that I did, but I never got final word from Shadow as to how many I could come up with.
Shadow, I was looking for Capsule rounds that had either G-S or Narcojet. Mostly I want pistol rounds, but if I could get a few rifle rounds for Ghost Dragon, I'll get those too.
MrSandman666
Mar 16 2004, 05:04 PM
Edit: didn't see Grey's post.
I'd prefer pistol rounds right now since it doesn't look like I'm gonna get a good shot with my rifle. If we don't hear anything by tomorrow I'm gonna assume I get 24 shot of pistol ammo for the savalettes.

Ghost Dragon doesn't use rifles. He carries a Browning Ultra-Power. Is Jessie planning on aiming them at him?

Force 4 Imrpoved Invisibility; all Spell Pool dice for drain.
Socery (4) Test: 3, 7, 1, 8, 3, 1 = success
Drain (4/2+1 = 3)M Test: 4, 7, 9, 4, 3 + 3, 4, 10, 5, 8 = 10 successes!
No drain

keep in mind that because you only got 2 sucesses on the spell, you only have a +2 modifier for people to notice you or not.

Grey you could have gotten 4 mags in the time availible. About 60 rounds pistol. Whatever flavor you wanted.

Ok so my understanding of the plan is this.
Arden, Warpath, and Danny, are remaining on the outside.
Everyone else is going in to extract.
GD will burst the water main on the road before entering.
You guys will go for the front door, Jessie will use the codes her decker procured for her to get into the building, then the elevator. Mirage is staying outside the front of the target building, covering the front door and the balcony until everyone has safely rappelled. GD, and Ohanzee deal with the Bodyguard. Sink and Jessie extract the target using rappelling gear and exiting off the balcony. Hopefully Ohanzee and GD will follow. Then you all get into Ardens ROADMASTER and evac....
Correct?
Raiko

Mirage is staying outside the front of the target building, covering the front door and the balcony until everyone has safely rappelled.
I realise that it may not be possible to cover both at the same time.
grimshear
Mar 16 2004, 11:43 PM
Arden is staying outside, and is basically getting ready to use the twin-linked Alphas to pump concussion grenades into the compound if it proves to be necessary. So I guess I'm going to spend some time to get a really good bead on the area around the exit from the security building.
Whatever type of roll you may want for that, let me know...
Against the Gates:
Sensor test to see how solid they are: 4, 4, 5, 5, 9
Complimentary Electronic warfare roll: 2, 3, 4, 4, 7, 11
ECCM to reduce interference (if needed): 2, 4, 11
Complimentary Electronic warfare roll: 3, 3, 3, 5, 5, 5
To find the guards.
Sensor test to try and locate/track the guards via radio/thermo sigs: 3, 3, 4, 9, 9
Complimentary Electronic warfare roll: 3, 4, 4, 5, 7, 9
ECCM to reduce interference (if needed): 1, 7, 11
Complimentary Electronic warfare roll: 2, 4, 5, 5, 5, 5
ECM to hide (if needed): 4, 5, 7
Complimentary Electronic warfare roll: 3, 4, 4, 5, 8, 8

The vest I mentioned is actually custom made but it's a standard secure ultra vest (3/3) for all rules purposes. The only thing custom about it is the looks.
And, yes, that plan looks right to me. How was that with the communication again? Warpath and Danny are out in the van with Arden, so they're covered although they do have their own communication AFAIK. GhostDragon only has a cell phone which he should keep switched off during the run but he'll stay with me so he's taken care off. What about our two ladies and sink?

Warpath going to be primarily armed with an Ares Alpha with ex-ex ammo and a mix of HE offensive, smoke, and flash grenades in the underbarrel. Camo and stealth cloak, as well. He'll also have a bit of other gear on him, but only what he can carry and move in snow. He's talking through a transducer and comm unit so he is also silent until he starts shooting.
I'll catch up on the actual game tomorrow
I'm a bit tired from driving all day.
[edit] Okay, caught up. I'm not 100% on the surrounding buildings. Warpath is looking for somewhere low enough security to allow him access to the roof while being close enough to be useful and along the alternate route of retreat (if possible). Possibly relevant rolls:
Intelligence: 04 04 03 01 #D:4
Security Proceedures: 08 05 02 01 #D:4
Stealth (complimentary): 07 04 01 01 01 #D:5

Um... one last detail (that shouldn't keep us from getting started at any rate). I'm pretty sure we've discussed this before but I can't for the life of me remember what we concluded on: what's the lowest common denominator when it comes to encryption for our little comm system? Do we have someone broadcasting without encryption at all? Ohanzee can handle anything up to level 6...
Just thought that would be interesting to know...

The walls are made of cased concrete, they are about four feet thick and are domed at the top, presumably to make climbing them rough. They are also eight feet tall as far as you can tell, and if they have any special alarms, you can't see them.

Thank ya. Is there any trees nearby that I could hook a grapple line too?
Shadow
Mar 18 2004, 06:57 PM
There are no trees on the outside of the wall, just a sidewalk. The inside of the area is treeless with the exception of the park which is lightly wooded, mostly small alder trees.
Grey
Mar 18 2004, 07:06 PM
Ok, that is our insert point. I'll use my grapple hook gun on the trees there and tie it off on a street sign on the outside. This sound good for everyone?
Shadow
Mar 18 2004, 07:25 PM
You can't see the tree's from the street, you just know they are there from your earlier reconnaissance.
The wall is 8 feet tall, about the size of a short troll. So Jessie can't see over it.... but a troll could see over it.
Grey
Mar 18 2004, 07:54 PM
Right... duh.
Good thing we got a troll with us.

Defaulting to Body (TN + 4): 11, 5, 2
Hopefully, the 11 will be high enough. We're working with like a +7 TN or something right?
I don't know where I saw the reference for radius of control. I can't find it. According to SR2, an elemental service is a remote service if the elemental leaves the caster's line of sight to perform the service. SR3 doesn't really specify. I would consider 'remote' being something very distant or something that the elemental has to go and find to do something to, which would likely be out of the controlling mage's line of sight.

09, 05, 04, 03, 01, 01
