Sorry to be the one continually asking questions here, but I'd also like to know if there are any house rules we should know about in your games?

I despise houserules. The 3rd edition rules work fine the way they are as along as you use a little common sense. That said, remember, I, and I alone am the sole arbiter of the rules. If I make a ruling, thats the way it is.

Most times though it is not even needed. So just use the character creation rules from the BBB and SR comp and make the character you want to play.

Right. I'm sending you Ghost Dragon now. He has a custom firearm, but I just won't have him use it during the game, if you approve him.

Well, for my concept to work even semi-decently, I'm going to need to grossly violate the rules of availability and do some Frankensteining of electronics as it were, so if that isn't a problem then yay, if not then I need to rework my character. Most of the equipment isn't horribly unbalanced, and you can rule that because of the way it is set up, the only thing it can do is Trid broadcasts or something. Let me know either way.

Okay, I got a nice idea. A rich Salish kid, grandchild of a former tribal chief maybe, who's gotten sick of living the high life and has moved to Seattle (since I assume that's where the game takes place). I'll think about it, and start writting the character once I get back from the pool.

Before we go on I need everyone acknowledge that they made it. If for some reason not everyone does, I will take from the characters who didn't make it in. If anyone dies, those people who didn't make it in will have an opportunity to play.

Just as a note to help out, I volunteer to play both Ghost Dragon and Blackjack if we really need a decker. I've played two characters in a run before. It's no big deal.

Should we all post a short description of our characters? I assume that being the name of the game is Team Effort, that we have all worked together before.

OKay, sorry for joining the discussion so late.... I'm here and in for the fun. I would really like to play Ohanzee, however, if we need a decker there's always Nate. I created him for another game here on DSF which never really got started.
I'll submit both, my current Ohanzee and Nate. However, I probably gonna have to 'tune' Nate a bit so that might take another day or two. Also I'm not too familiar with the decking rules but this would be a great way to learn. I do have all the appropriate sourcebooks though.

P.S: I would definately enjoy to have Ohanzee and Arden play together again. Pitty that the rest of the team isn't here.

Dont bother with, Nate, Sandman unless you really want to play him... However, I need you to play Ohanzee in the game.@ Raiko, thats cool, the game will probably not even start till next week.


Heres the deal with the game name. The OOC is going to remain Team Effort. However, we will have a different name for the IC, I am not sure what it is going to be yet, but it will be pertinent to the story line.

Well, if you need me to play Ohanzee, then that's who I'm gonna play. Nate would be fine with me as well since I've played Ohanzee in three different games with three different teams already and Nate is still somebody who I'd like to try out. Also, I've never played a decker and I'd like to try that.
But if you have reasons for me to play Ohanzee, I will do that. I'm very comfortable with him and personality-wise he's the best character I've ever made, IMHO.

I'm sure I'll find another game to try him out sometime.
