I haven't seen the new Runner's Companion yet, but there's some old Flaws I was thinking about taking. Specifically, I was thinking about "Hunted", or "enemy". Makes sense for a technomancer, especially with his back ground. Thoughts Alex (or anyone that has Runner's Comp).

I think that we could work with that one. RJ has RC (mine's on order but I won't get it until I'm back from Cali - love my dead tree books) so he might be a better source of info on rules. I'll try to check the thread tonight once I get checked into the hotel.

Alright, I think I've mostly got MITNick put together. Feel free to give him the once or twice over. If my ath is correct, I think I have 1 BP to spare. I'm building him with the "Left out to Dry" Flaw from SR3 in mind. He's got nobody, as he cut all ties, and is just now trying to reemerge as his new alias, getting jobs off the local shadow haven. So he purposefully has no contacts. This is building from the ground up essentially. Hopefully it'll work out, and I won't just be making things difficult. We'll see. I also left a bunch of cred unspent since I don't have hte books, and can't remember much of what he'll need, and I didn't have the prices on some basic stuff like an OS. I still need to put together his actual living persona, but I can do that when I have a bit more time.

What are you thinking for the Mysterious Cyberware?
Also, take a read at the City Cafe info that I posted a little bit back for RJ. Let me know if you need/want something else.

I assumed that you arrived at the Cafe earlier in the afternoon. If you wanted to arrive around half an hour early, then I will need to edit. Please let me know.

Cranial Bomb! Cranial Bomb! Its worth 10bp!
For Mysterious Implants, there are some great variations:
5bp - Cyberware Backdoor
5bp - Headsafe (contains someone's elses data)
10bp - Killswitch
10bp - Permanent Infusion (Aug. 94 + Permanent Moderate addiction, BBB 80)
5bp - Traceless ( = to Print Removal (Aug pg89))

Hey Guys,
I just wanted to let you know that Ben's base has been put on effective lockdown due to Hurricane Ike. He's restricted to the barracks and chow hall so, unfortunately, he won't be able to post for awhile.. (unless he tells me what he wants to do and I post for him... which is an option.)
From what I know, there's no immediate danger to the base but they are receiving a ton of military personnel evacuees from Corpus Christi. I'm not sure when lockdown will be lifted but I'm sure he'll be on as soon as it is.

Alex - don't need a thing. I'll post heading down to the meet.
As Alysha mentioned, I'm going ot be locked down for a while. Friday through Sunday to be precise, so I'll be posting again on Monday. *bleck* Since Alex's posting is a bit slow ATM, probbaly shouldn't be too much of a hold up. I'll have Plan B and SinN keep me updated on anything important. If there's something I NEED to post on, I'll have Plan B take care of it for me. Otherwise, just asume I'm kosher and a little quiet at the meet.

Sep 13 2008, 01:23 AM
Yup, he's actually an international employee here on a temporary visa. From Moldovia, I think. The company had Police waiting in Anchorage at the airport to search the bags of the 40+ employees going home after finishing there contracts. Before the police had gotten to him, he confessed, gave it back. And was released to go home. His punishment, was his bonus check(As all employees get at the end of the season) was taken away, and hes banned from the country. Temporairlly or perminetly Im not sure. But It ended up being a felony, so im pretty sure its perminent.

@Alex: Rolling Judge Intentions on Mr. J. just to see if see if he's telling the truth.
9d6.hits(5)=3 3 hits.
Also rolling Tuscaloosa Area knowledge to see what Steve remembers about the Bule area. (And is that Bule or Blue?) Roll =
10d6.hits(5)=4 4 hits.
Also I went through my knowledge skills and rated them as Street , Acedemic or Interest, you want me to post them here or PM it to you?

Yes, for reference, please PM me that information.
Re: Johnson - yes, he appears to be telling the truth.
It is indeed "Bule". Hey, I didn't name it.
He knows that Bule is named area only because it is a spot on the edge of Tuscaloosa that resists all attempts to tame it. "The woods are alive" would be an adequate description. For some reason, this didn't happen until about seven years ago.

@ RJ
I have to assume that you are rolling for the Bule area. If so, you will know much the same as what I gave Meriss. If that is not what you want, please let me know.

Kay some rolling of bones to add to my atempt at raising inital pay.
I'll try an opening Con roll activating Improved Con to disarm Mr. Johnsons suspcions. I want him believeing that Steve is simply an avarice driven redneck (not too far from the truth but Steve is trying to open a road here) So maths Cha = 5 Con = 5 Fastalk is not included Since I don't think I'm actually fastalking him Improved Con level 3 so 13 dice? On we go then. Rolling
13d6.hits(5)=6 6 hits not bad.
Then I'm going to wind up and hit em with a Negotiate to see if he'll accept my take on the situation. Rolling
8d6.hits(5)=2 2 hits crud muffins.

I just realized I forgot to give an actual physical description of MITNick. So...
Nick stands of average height and build for a dwarf, with a light frame that goes against all of the sterotypes. While lean, he still seems to exude a bit of that shortguy dwarf attidtude, looking at most of the world around him as if it's challenging him. Not quite a sour face, but he seems to be on guard most of the time. His blond hair is cut short in the back, longer on top in what might have been spiky, but has since grown out a bit much. He sports a goatee with no mustache as well, keeping the rest of his face clean shaven. A single datajack gleams chrome on his left temple, and older model with a new wireless adapter plugged into it.
His clothing is aerage non-descript street, mostly jeans and single tone t-shirts, with a light armored jacket over the top, with no apparent weapons.
His PAN is top of the line, with extra care given to the backgrounds and subtle feel. His profile it's self carries little personal information, but is well scuplted, showing cascading matrix code in hues of electric blue and green. Everything around him has the code rolling over it, although most of it in matching colors, so that it isn't readily apparent. On closer examination, items around the area such as glasses can be seen to have the code rolling down the side, giving the suggestion that maybe the real world is as real as the matrix, or vice versa. His icon it's self is that of a dwarf in a black suit weraing a black fedora hat, his white shirt beneath making a stark contrast. Beneath the hat is a floating reflective chrome head with no facial features, save vacant eye holes that emenate a greenish-gold glow. The same glow comes from his sleeves, where metallic hands hang at the end without the need of such details like wrists.
