Spell Defense Roll for Gwyn: 11 10 04 02 01 #D:5 TN:5 H#:11 S:2
Not too shabby, but the spell still had net successes, but you took out two that staged up the damage level

Gonna need dodge rolls from everyone. The bench does provide you some cover, but remember, it's made of wood

Dodge (5 pool used): 09 05 04 04 02
I've also got rating 3 fire resistance on my armor, so that should help me out at least a little bit.

Using 4 dice from my pool (4 are left).

So just to make it clear for myself...the mage is prone on the ground in front of us, and the katanaman is standing behind her doing nothing?

At this point, yes. The Mage is in front of you in a sitting possition throwing a spell and the katanaman is standing at the doorway to the hallway (out of which the mage came) with his katana at the ready, but tip pointed to the floor watching. He looks prepared to engage, but as if he's waiting for something.

Oh! While I wait for Soluna to roll her dodge, since I don't know how much combat pool to put into play here, I'll let you know that both of your characters have dodged the spell.

You mean, like a huge fireball to be thrown at us?

Soluna was busy this weekend, so she told me to roll 4 combat pool for her.
10 09 05 02 #D:4 TN:7 H#:10 S:2
She dodges as well even with the higher target number for drain and a sustained spell!! Damn, aparently not my week to blow you guys to smithereens
Dashifen
Jun 27 2004, 03:52 PM
Elfie: You had targeted the mage with your shots. Since she's down -- very down -- at this point, do want to hold your actions, or blast the guy with the katana who hasn't done a damn thing yet.
Elfie

As Lex looks up from over the bench, he'd probably see the mage lying in a pool of her own blood, so he'd target the next viable opponent, which would be the katana wielder. Same rolls, same actions, 2 bursts, ExEx ammo.

Well shoot, Lex. He didn't dodge either shot. Probably should have wasted all of the CP on dodging one shot and kept him alive through the second with a karma point reroll if I had to but we're at the end of hte game anyway
We can stay in combat mode if you want to. Or, if you want to let anyone else live through this little adventure, we can go back into normal posting time.
It's up to you guys

Perception: 08 07 05 04 04 03 03 02
...then move to untie the two and do a quick triage incase either of them are injured...

Okay everyone. Thanks for a fun game. We slowed down a little there at the end but that's okay. What I'm going to do is this: I'm going to finish up all of the story line in a few long posts. I'll get them up probably tomorrow or Friday. From here on out you pretty much just have to reunite Geoff with his family and get paid so I figure I'll get everything running myself.
As for karma: Eccy and Elfie can give Lex and Akuma 37 karma. That's 1 karma per week of the game (since Oct. 13 if you can believe that). Soluna, Gwyn gets 17 for the work from now back to March 8th when you joined. Also, everyone give yourselves another 8 for being good players and hanging in there and to make it an even 45 and 25 for all around.
Watch for that last post to wrap things up. Other than that -- we're done with this one. Watch for a new game I may be starting shortly called Ghostwalker's Truth.

I'm out of the country until August 1st, but I'll put that Karma to good use eventually. I look forward to reading how the story wraps up, I had a lot of fun playing on the boards ^^

I posted a wrap up for the game. Thanks all for playing. The question at the end of the wrap up is rhetorical and I don't really intend to watch the thread any longer. I want to download the whole thing to my computer and archive it for later use as a module.
If you have any comments on the game please drop me a PM and remember that eveything after the death of Medea was pretty improvisational.
Thanks again!
