Ok, here we go:
Free Action: Quickdraw Pistol - 09 07 05 04 03 03 01 01 (success)
Simple Action: Shoot Hellhound (+4 Combat Pool) - 10 09 07 05 04 04 04 04 02 01 01 01 (Base Damage 7M Stun + 10D Gamma Scopolamine)
Simple Action: Shoot Guard (+4 Combat Pool) - 14 11 07 07 05 05 05 04 03 02 01 01 (same damage)
I'm not sure on the TNs because I'm not sure of range. I have all the vision mods and a Smarklink 2 with rangefinder. Keep in mind that the second shot is at +1 TN for switching targets.

Hellhound: I have 6 levels of Fire Resistance on my armor. Does that take all the damage away or just reduce the damage to 2?

i wanted two small groups to distract guards/cover car pool
while a third group, of the most stealthy, went in the building and found Belle. That would probably be Tigger, Bishop and Graves.
Outside, I will take care of the hellhounds...hehe

Folks, it's a ski resort not the Ares Corp Center! I've played with McQuillan before and he's thrown out signals left and right that this is not a top of the line security force. We're looking at maybe 10 guys-ish with a mage. We're prime runners as they say, this is a cake walk with our karma pools alone. At this point all it takes is the guards to comm back and the then we do this all over again. I think we can handle it.

We also have the advantage of being out in the middle of nowhere, so HTR is going to be taking their time.

Sparky I need astral combat rolls from you, herne and the spirit.
You and Herne can use Sorcery or a weapon skill, the Spirit rolls reaction. Add Astral Combat pool where you want it, and don't forget the extra dice from your weapon focus.
Anyone with Security procedures or something similar can roll it to try and estimate the response time for external forces.

Ecc--The engine is about a mile down the road you're guessing. Sounds like the heavy diesel of a van like the one you drove here in.
The 2 other guards and hellhounds are on approach, one is about 50 m to your left he's moving at a dead run. The other is about 350 m away, near the fence. You don't see him but can track the thermographic of the hellhound.

Team--Presuming that the HTR team was based in the closest town that you passed by, they could arrive in 15 minutes. If they are based in a larger town (upwards of 1,000 people) then it would easily be 30-45 minutes from the time the call goes out.

Yeah, the guy 50 meters out is short range for it, so I should have 10 successes to hit them. The stuff doesn't do damage anyway, but I'll get better coverage.

Yes you can, using indirect fire rules. You'll have to check ranges, I don't remember the precise number for extreme range on the launcher.

You do indeed. Seeing in that post that you have a Grenade Launcher, you *can* use the BattleTac to shoot as people you can't see (Indirect Fire rules). So if things get REAL bad, you wouldn't even need to come over the wall to lay down some cover fire.

I already mentioned that you guys could be doing that. Ranges for Grenade Launchers are 50/100/150/300.

Pending any treats heading towards me, I take two rounds to deal with the freeze foamed guard and hellhound. Two aim actions and then a shot.
First Shot: 08 08 07 05 05 05 05 04 04 04 03 03 03 02 02 01
Second Shot: 11 10 08 04 04 04 03 03 03 02 02 02 01 01 01 01
I'll be careful not to do D damage with the bullet, as I don't want the drugs to OD them with overstun. Will aim for the leg/arm/etc so I don't kill them.

From crossing over the wooden fence, it's 300m to the rally point. All in all the run people covered was ~ 1.8 km
I'm siply uniting the timeline since some were taking actions in minute increments and others were measured in seconds.

I figured a scene like this would happen, given that Helios comes from a completely different world than the other characters. I like playing this guy (it's a concept I've created and re-created many times over the years, sometimes as a street sam, other times as an adept like this), so I'm just having all the fun I can with him

On a side note, I seem to recall there was a website where the events of this run was being transcribed. Does anyone remember the address? I'm currently working on an anthology of stories starring this character, chronicling his life since he began hunting the Infected, and this run would definitely make for a good story, so I just want to remember everything relevant.

There are no more moving guards outside. The guards that have been sedated appear to be wearing armored jackets.
A sustaining focus can only sustain one spell at a time, and only the spell that was linked to it at the time of bonding. You can sustain additional spells with a +2 modifier to all tasks.
