I don't think repainting our truck is a good idea. While the "clown" disguise isn't perfect, it's at least professionally painted, etc. Rolling around with a hurriedly primered panel van will just scream "trouble" or "kidnapper van" to anyone with an IQ over 5. Best we stay with what we got and keep our heads low.

edit: If our places have already been rolled by Horizon I'm putting a burst of flechettes into Ascon. Aiming at his stomach, too. There is no way we'll get enough cred to replace all of our gear and repair our reps in the Seattle shadows after this kind of furball.

If there weren't bullet holes and scorch marks on his suit that he's wearing TW would be heading inside for a pint of vodka. Seeing as how that would probably raise eyebrows with the security guard, however, he will wait until he's picking up his bigger toys to grab his flask and fill it.

You could ask Mr. White to get the bottle of vodka. Mr. White managed to get out in style without a bullet hole or scorch mark. He did get a bit of dirt on his coat when he landed from the rappelling, but nothing too bad.

When he gets back, Eclipse will give TW two magazines of 28 subsonic ammo each(reduce range 20%, +2 AP, -6 to be heard in the Ingram).

Gardner does in fact have the "hand cannon" Ruger Super Warhawk that the maitre d' whipped out at us. If anyone asks, he'll hand it over along with the extra speed loader of APDS ammo that he found.

Once geared up, the plan is to go to the pier for the meeting with one of the Foundations, where we suspect we may be ambushed due to contact dickery. If we survive and he fails to offer us a great deal for Ascon, we then go to the other foundation.

Did I miss anything?

The part where if neither party offers us just compensation we throw Ascon (or what's left of him) into the Puget Sound.

Seems about right, sadly.

And depending on the timing, some of us might be able to rest and drop some of our damage...

Alright, fair enough. What then, is just compensation?
In my mind, what we should be asking for, each, minimum:
10k for getting out of bed
5k for getting shot at
5k for the run being against a megacorp
(total of 120k for group)

or maybe a percentage of what the cordex is worth, if more? I think we're more likely to win that negotiation since Ascon isn't the one paying us... though he definitely owes some favours.

Some rest would be good, but I gather the theme for this mission is "you're always one step ahead of the reaper if you keep moving, otherwise..."

Well, we actually did agree to 8k each (whether or not Acson actually had the money to offer), if I'm remembering correctly he told us where the target was ahead of time, so we knew it was a corp job... That's part of the biz. Otherwise, apart from your "getting out of bed" fee, the 10k each would probably be an appropriate amount of money.

It's what he gets for being a jerk! Had he approached us professionally and said: "Hey, in a couple days Ascon be on this balcony. Horizon owns it. Extract Ascon and sell him to the Atlantean Foundation," we would have known what we were getting into and had the prep time to make sure we didn't get shot... and so that we wouldn't have a strike team hunting us down.

Unless we could have managed to get in and out without being noticed. Period. I don't think we could avoid the whole strike team thing...

Sorry, been a rough day so far. Just now had a chance to check for posts. We can fast forward to the pickup of gear at TundraWolf's place. As you left the StufferShack parking lot you noticed the confused look on the guards face as you guys just parked there for 10-15 minutes without anybody even trying to go inside. But he seems to be nodding to himself satisfactorily as he mouth moves in words you can't hear.

The drive to Tacoma is largely uneventful though a couple times Needle got concerned over the level of encrypted wireless traffic in some areas you drove. It never seemed to turn into anything though.

If we have trouble getting a good 'finders fee' from a corp, Mr. White suggests (in front of Acson) that they check and see how much black market medical testing gives for live test subjects.

Sure, he's worth something, but not on the magnitude to have made this job anywhere close to a good idea for you guys. A few thousand at most, total, not per person on your team.
