The shen is taking a non-action to turn Materialization off, then searching the compound looking for anything unexpected or hostile-looking. If it does find something it might want to take action, depending what it sees, but otherwise assume it's spending its actions to Observe in Detail. Let me know if you need any rolls.

Ok so did you want the spirit to whiz through the rooms and take one Observe in Detail for the quick pass or were you thinking more of a going from room to room sort of deal? If doing the room to room I would then follow up with a pick a room and roll the Perception.

Cypher please roll Hacking + Stealth vs the IC doing a patrol of the node and scanning for icons.
Also last night at my table top game I realized I need to give more information with node and VR environments so I will add some more IC posting and will back it up with this post. So the icons in the node are:
The rippling on the surface
The points of light on the surface
The lattice of light - in particular each intersection of light
The shadow orb
I think more information up front will make matrix less awkward and more like a real world setting. I would describe things to the players like doors, chairs etc. Anything that had an impact on the environment. Most sculpting is designed to help the user not hinder them - occasionally you will encounter the whacked out node that fucks with you with its iconography and like combat there could be things hiding and lurking but my hope is this will help streamline the process. Let me know what you think.

Umaro--don't forget your TacNet bonuses to dodge.
All -- remember we need the clinic in one piece, so no grenades on the drones. And also, if they're shooting ex-ex rounds, that's going to do a lot of damage to the walls--so interjecting your body to save the architecture would be nice, but make sure to soak it all so there's no blood splatter.

I'd offer to take the hit, but I have this bum knee and all...GO TEAM!!

Actually, Fat Man might have wound penalties on the second shot but there were no hits and no 1s, so it doesn't really matter, and if Edge is spent he's better off using it to soak rather than dodge anyways.

Emilio the gun is an Ares Crusader (Arsenal pg 22) with a full clip of gel rounds - you have no idea what is in the extra clips but they are for this gun.

Fat Man is going to pass on the Interception; he's not very good at melee and I don't think it's worth risking the critical glitch.
EDIT: Actually, I forgot the TacNet. I think it's worth a whack. Agility (1) - Defaulting (1) + Reach (3, applying all of it to hit) + TacNet (2) = 4d6,

OK consulted with another GM (
BishopMcQ) so here we go. I like to keep things transparent as much as possible so the gage needles will function like a dart gun so no armor and I need to score two net hits to inject but it is only the drug no actual damage from the needle.
