I am incredibly non-stealthy (like in the category of "HEY GUYS, I ROLLED A FOUR!!!"), so I want to ask if Fat Man's spirit is using concealment on us before rolling...

From his post above, it was Fat Man, Zerone, and Cypher, and either Eklipse or Ayo.
If the cameras are doing their job, no one inside should see you. Because they stuck with a wired approach, it's unlikely there are cameras in other buildings. (It'd require digging lines under the sidewalk which gets noticed...) We're worried about someone hearing you through the walls, seeing you during their smoke break, or peeking through a crack on the boarded up windows.
You can toss some Edge to help out or worst case, they open the door and start shooting--if that happens we go loud early, but you don't have to worry about opening the door.

That's right, I forgot about Umaro's post. Thanks to defaulting on stealth and sustaining my charisma spell, I'm rocking a 1d6 pool for stealth. That's why any extra dice from the spirit would really be helpful.

The spirit actually drops dice off people trying to notice you, rather than adding to your own check.

4d6 for 1 hit. I forget if penalties can reduce the Edge pool as well, but you can knock off the last die and it's still one hit.

Apologies for being offline for a while. Think I was a little burnt out after xmas and new year. I would love to jump back in if that's still possible. I am trying to get up to speed with the IC track and could get up a post sneaking up to the facility pretty quick. Just let me know which team I am on.

I think we all figured you were still with the group. It's up to you if you want to be part of the Cloak and Dagger team (which is Ayo, Fat Man's shen and Cypher?), or the BFG-Toting team (which is Mages R Us, Inc and Zerone's ravmalakh).

Eklipse is pretty stealthy and fights with either a suppressed SMG, a katana or his bare hands so is probably better suited to the stealth team.

8d6.hits(5)=2 - only 2 but Traceless walk give opponents a -4 dice mod to hear him and Cloak gives a -1 dice mod to detection spells to detect him.

So, just the two hits, but anyone rolling visual perception has a -4 dice pool penalty to see me.

1. Cypher technomances it. Not sure if he can but this would be my preferred option as it's quiet!
2. One of the spirits kicks it in.
3. One of the mages ram spells it.

I think Cypher is with the back door team. I think when it's go time (meaning when we are at the door and the back door team is ready to actually take advantage of the distraction), we're just going to have to have the fire spirit melt the door - neither of us have Hardware.

For the record, Cypher is a hacker not a TM. Sadly, all of the devices seem very limited about what they talk to. Hopefully I will be able to gain more control of the system once I'm inside.
I second the Burnination plan, it makes you guys a really REALLY big distraction. (Though do remember, minimal property damage. If a spirit could materialize on the other side and open the door, that'd probably be easier. Do mages remember pushbars or complex locks?)

That's kind of vague and up to Buddha, but generally stuff like "assist us in breaking into here and beating everyone up" is one service.

Hey all - sorry again for the lack of posting this week.
JxJxA/UmaroVI - I agree that it could be one service. Just run it by me in OOC and we'll muddle it out. I want to avoid commands like "Go in and open the door then conceal me then take out the guards then...." and have that be one service.
BishopMcQ - noted on the the expenditure of Edge.
All - Please make a Reaction + Intuition + 3 Test (surprise test) and we'll start the break in on Monday possibly Sunday if I can make some time.

@ Buddha: Cool. The command is basically go in and open the door. If the room is empty, then just materialize and unlock it. However, if the room is full of bad guys, materialize and burn out the lock. I'll tell her to go about killing the bad guys, but that would definitely be a second service.

JxJxA: I think you might have forgotten to account for all foci losing 1 force in the BGC (ie, your f3 sustaining focus drops to f2, and thus only holds a f2 increase reflexes).

For the spirit to materialize would be a complex action - an IC post would be great since I always feel hesitant to describe personal things like magic themes and spirit for players. It's a place for their characters to shine and distinguish themselves from other Awakened folk.
