Thanks for the postings of your positions - I had a rough night with our littlest - 3 1/2 hrs of sleep with little chance of a nap today so I will be posting either tomorrow or Friday by the latest. Hopefully everyone else can use the time to post their positions as well.

Ok so Fat Man, Eklipse and Zerone all have delayed actions and your actions all go off at the same time:
Characters who have held an action and intervened in this manner go before anyone who is normally taking his action during that Action Phase. If multiple characters delay their actions until the same Action Phase, they act at the same time. Note that a delayed character can choose to intentionally act after another in an Action Phase
From the main book - so you all can unload on this poor soul or decide amongst yourselves in which order you all act.

Zerone will wait until someone else acts. However, if everybody else is as petulant as I am being, then Zerone will fire a stunbolt at the target.

Fat Man took a simple action to command the shen (this is the 2nd of its two services, although after this it will still hang out and maintain Concealment if needed). The shen can now take its Pass 1 action, which it uses to manifest in front of the guy with the SMG and look scary (Complex action), but it can't do anything else until next phase.
Fat Man takes his second simple action to look around on the astral plane (as a dual-natured being, he doesn't need to take any time to turn Astral Perception on/off); he's hoping to spot any enemy magicians or non-watcher spirits before they jump us. Assensing 10d6 (3 hits)

14d6 for 6 hits total, but only 3 count.
Edit: Resisting Drain of (3/2) - 1 = 1
Willpower(4) + Charisma(5) =
9d6 for 2 hits. All drain resisted.

I'm not sure if we're playing with the optional rule that you add net hits to drain for direct combat spells (Buddha?), but if we are, you add
net hits, ie, your hits minus the target's hits on Willpower+Counterspelling, not all your hits.

One other note, to add to what Umaro said, Direct Combat spells are resisted straight against the Spellcasting Test. The guard would roll Willpower (+ Counterspelling if present) versus the hits on the Spellcasting Test. Net hits from that, would then add to the damage with a base of Force, but there is not a soak test against Force + Hits. The Soak Test would only be for indirect combat spells like Fireball, or Lightning Bolt.

Still here - probably should have mentioned I was down a dad this week with Fenris traveling again on business. I will look up the rule and give you my ruling (get it rules - ruling - funny.....) about it. I will have a post up by Saturday morning at the latest - very sorry. I am aiming for tomorrow night though barring any child related catastrophes.

Ok sitting down to post - on the rule since I don't mind mages casting a lot I am going to not use the optional rule.
Ayo 1st burst: 2 hits (base power 7P) 2nd burst: 1 hit (base power 7P)

Just as a quick check before I scrabble around remembering how lethal SR4 combat can be, should I assume they succeeded on the Perception check to see me with the Rhuthenium? Just wanted to make sure. Assuming they can, I'm dodging

I'm AFB at the moment, so I'll roll dice once I know what the modifiers are.
Question: I can't recall if moving up (not running) counts as a simple action or if it is always a complex action.

Walking should be a free action, Standing Up is the only one listed as a Simple. Does Twist have Low-Light? (Presuming Partial Light, Low Light gives no penalty, Regular or Thermo gives a -2)

Buddha, can PCs speak outside of their turns? I'd have Zerone shoot off a text to let the group know that the one guard most of us can see is magically protected if possible.
