Cypher you recall a small home in the outskirts of the downtown core - it was originally being used as a drug lab that was shut down over a year ago but must have gotten lost in the paperwork though you had rumors of a hacker keeping it that way. It's a modest 2 bedroom home in a small suburban neighborhood.

Task spirits (which Fat Man can summon) can get Infiltration, but AFAIK there's no other spirit that can have that skill. I think the most effective way for us to work together on this would be if you could summon a spirit that has Concealment, I'll summon a Task spirit with Infiltration (I can't get both on the same spirit without taking Physical drain), and yours can conceal mine while mine does astral scouting?
Fat Man has
Rating 4 Goggles (200) with Image Link (25), Ultrasound (1000), Vision Enhancement 3 (300)
Rating 3 Contacts (150), with Image Link (25), Flare Compensation (50), Low Light Vision (100)
Ratiing 3 Earbuds (30) with Audio Enhancement 3 (300)
So I think that's 4 senses, which is enough for a rating 2 tacnet. He doesn't have any sensory programs on his (extremely bad) commlink, so he'd only be able to run on a master-slave tacnet, not a distributed one.
Summoning a force 5 task spirit with optional power: additional skill (Infiltration)
Spirit gets 3 hits on 5 dice
Fat Man gets 3 hits on 10 dice
Fat Man soaks drain with 6 hits on 11 dice (no drain).
Trying again:
Spirit gets 1 hit on 5 dice
Fat Man gets 4 hits on 10 dice
Fat man soaks drain with 4 hits on 11 dice (no drain).
Fat Man puts the spirit on remote service: scout out the facility (giving it the location), don't try to break through wards or do anything to alert them.

The spirit's Infiltration roll: 6 hits on 10 dice (Logic+Skill, since it is astral). It may be getting Concealment as well (which would subtract from observer's Assensing checks).
The spirit's Assensing roll: 4 hits on 10 dice.

Image Link, Vision Mag, Smartgun all attached to a Transys Avalon with default settings except for the Rating 6 Firewall. Everything else useful is pure biologicalz, baby.
Torrey, feel free to bump up and through recon if nothing exciting happens. I'll stay 500m or so (about a quarter mile). Vision mag is (correct me if I'm remembering wrong) 50 to 1, so being 500 meters away will be visually like being 10m (~30 feet) away. I'll use the ruthineum to stay hidden, and avoid light/open streets/other secured areas. Trying to get 360 footage around the facility, make my own Perception checks, and get stuff we can review later.
Stealth Group is 2 with an Agility of 7, Perception is 3 + Intuition 3 + Vision Enhancement 3. Don't forget the invisible cloak

@ Buddha: First-Sure, no problem. Second-I've got the sustain modifier of -2 noted in my summoning and drain tests for increased charisma. Does the sustain negative modifier apply to the resist drain test for the spell I'm going to sustain (i.e. I cast Increase Charisma, intend to sustain it, and then roll the resist drain test)?

I can actually answer the latter. Actually, you never apply Sustaining penalties to Drain tests. SR4A p184 (a side note - you don't apply wound modifiers either).

I forgot that Zerone can summon guidance spirits and use divining. If the group would like, Zerone can ask if anyone has a material link for Emilio I can send a spirit to divine the location. If you'd like, Buddha, I'll just summon the spirit and post the stats so you can make the dice roll.

Looks like Fat Man, Zerone, and a guidance spirit are going to do some quick astral scouting. Fat Man in particular wants to know:
Layout of the building(s), and locations of people.
Is there a negative background count here yet, or is it not that bad?
Can he guess which people are guards/employees versus prisoners, from a combination of where they are (ie, people who are tied to tables are probably not guards) and assensing emotional states? 3 hits on Assensing (Aura Reading)+Intuition. Also, we know Emilio is cybered, so Fat Man is specifically looking to see if anyone here has missing essence but seems to be here against their will, unconscious, or otherwise restrained.

Guardian spirits can't get Influence. From the guardian list, I'd go for Concealment. That plus Magical Guard should be a heavy protection for you two.
If you meant Guidance Spirits instead either Influence or Enhanced Hearing. Influence gives up the ghost a bit that someone is planning on hitting them. I'd prefer something that didn't tip our hand or leave signatures.

I am keeping time a little fast and loose for the recon part of this run since you aren't on a time clock for this particular job. Go ahead and give me your rolls for the astral sweep. Going to throw up a quick IC post as well for right now assuming the astral team has headed out. I'll need at least a Stealth and Perception roll along with any other things you might be doing to stay unnoticed.

For safety, we'll presumably have concealment up from Zerone's spirit (although we are expecting nothing on the astral that could spot us, so if we do see something, that may change our plans).

If you want to summon a shen of your own to keep us concealed as we sweep the area, that might be best. It does have guard and magical guard, though, so it can help protect us if something really bad happens.
Stealth roll: I'll use a point of edge to cushion my dice pool.
Logic(3) +Edge(3) - Default(1) - Sustain(2) =
5d6 for 2 hits 3d6 for 2 hits if you knock off the last two dice.
Assensing: Using a service to ask Servan to assense the area while I help him
Zerone(Secondary): Intuition(3) + Assensing(2) - Sustain(2) =
5d6 for 3 hits 3d6 for 3 hits if you knock off the last two dice. It seems that I RP like an angel, but I roll like the devil. 3 extra dice for Servan's dicepool.
Servan(Primary): Intuition(5) + Assensing(5) + Teamwork(3) =
13d6 for 7 hits. Booyaka-sha!
Zerone is now down to 1 point of edge.
Edit---Forgot that I was still sustaining Improved [Charisma]. Knocking off the last two dice of each of Zerone's rolls, but if you think that's dickish because my rolls were top-heavy then I'll reroll.

Ok here's the link to the map of the clinic you will be able to hash together from the recon, records off the matrix and the drive by of the site:
Shadow ClinicI will be throwing up a post describing the results of the astral recon - exam rooms will be in two clusters. The six in the lower left corner of the map are going to be numbered A1 to A6 starting at the top and going left to right so:

with A5 being the exam room with an external door off of it. The cluster of three on the top of the map will be:

Offices will be:

with O1 being the office with the deck entrance off of it. The cargo that
Ayo saw loaded into the site was through the entry at the top of the map. The clinic has a Background Count of 1. You think they are 6 security personnel and 3 to 4 medical staff working out of O2 along with
Dr. Takayasu who seems to be the sole occupant of O1. You think
Emilio is in exam room A4 and there are 3 other patients recovering in B2, A1 and A5.

PS Hand waving some the astral stuff since you have to drive by and see the location with your meat self first and it's incredibly hard to arrive somewhere straight from the astral especially looking for complete mundane landmarks like a building.
PPS I need new copies of Emilio, Ayo and Cypher's character sheets please.
PPPS Let me know if there's anything else you astral types are doing at the clinic before I bump you back to the safe house with the rest of the team.
