That was a Powerbolt on Fido I; it just gets OR (that was why it was 1 net hit only), not a soak check. Objects that get hit with Direct Combat spells use OR and don't roll to soak (ie, it should take 7 damage, not 2).

Fat Man does have Reach 3 (staff 2, inherent 1), dodge: http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/3540944/ 3 hits
He's still hit and takes 9S versus half impact. He soaks with Body (11) + half impact (18/2=9, no shield accounted for) + 6 (nonconductivity 6) = 26d6, http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/3540950/ 8 hits, so 1S. He's now taken 3S, 3P and is at -2 wound penalty. He also has a -2 electrical penalty to all action tests for 3 combat turns.

Fat Man checks against Incapacitation from electrical damage: Body (11) + Willpower (4) + half Impact (9) + nonconductivity (6) = 30d6, http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/3540952/ 8 hits versus threshold 3, he's not Incapacitated.

Quick question: Eklipse is at the corner of the hall by the A rooms, currently looking south. If he looks east along the corridor, can he see any of the drones or would he need to move along the corridor?

Crap, I totally forgot about Isabela delaying! Is it possible for her to get a shot/attack off at one of those drones in the hallway?

You might also want to Armor one or more of the physical fighters.

Beyond an Armor spell, other options could be:
Suppressive fire in the area between the drones and people (make new drones start dodging or stay down)
Smoke grenade
Pull people to their feet (use your action instead of theirs)
Engage in melee (gives allies friend in melee bonus)
Throw a sheet (improvised net) at the microdrones to make them burn actions and maybe entangle

I think changing clips is just a simple but stashing the first one might use up the other simple. If not then Eklipse will fire a single narrow burst at the rotodrone.

Agi 5 + SMG 5 + smart 2 - wounds 2 (no recoil penalty for first burst) = 10d6.hits(5)=3, damage 5P base + 1 for explosive + 2 for narrow burst, -1 AP for explosive.

Notsoevildm it would have take a Simple Action to stow the other clip but feel free to copy and paste the roll next time you take a shot if you want.

JxJxA from her current location she can not, if she moves to the junction she could see the rotodrone that is poking Fat Man with the oversized cattle prod.

Agi 5 + Unarmed 5 + edge 2 + combat sense 1 - wounds 2 = 11d6.hitsopen(5,6)=3 - bugger, 1 short!

Resist damage:
Bod 4 + Tough 1 + ballistic/2 3 + non. conduct 3 = 11d6.hits(5)=3 - stages it down 5S but that still knocks him out and deals 2 points of physical damage to boot. frown.gif

If it's possible, I'd like to make an Engulf attack. If not, then she'll use her Elemental Attack(fire) power. Just let me know which one I can do, since the dice pools are different. ^_^

I think they should both be the same dice pool, actually - both are Agility, and spirits have the same Unarmed and Exotic Ranged Weapon skills. What changes is the target's defense pool.

Since she moved already I would do the Elemental Attack (Fire) and try to burn the little fucker down. Engulf has a range of touch so she would need to move again to get close enough to use that power. She would roll Agility (Force + 2) + Exotic Ranged Weapon (Force) to hit.

Hey sorry for the late reply, I was out of town till about 5 min ago, I though I'd have time to log on and post while out of town business travel sometimes doesn't let you breath.

Logic 5 + Willpower 2 = 7d6 = 3 hits

Should I be acting now? Or am I understanding correctly that someone delayed and is taking their action now? I go after?

Okay, here we go:

Elemental Attack(Fire) on Twirly she can see:
Agi(7+2-1) + ERW(7-1) = 14d6 for 7 hits. Crap, and I was debating using Edge for open hits. Oh well.

Nah, it's no problem. It can be hard to track that sort of thing in PBP's, because you tend to have all the information spread out over a thread.

I think the closest dead and/or unconscious body has some kind of a pistol right? Is that pistol in an open area where I would be in grave grave danger?

Hamagen with the destruction of the rotodrone that end of the hall is relatively safe.

I want to run over to the body with the gun and do a cool baseball type slide stopping at the body and looking for the gun and ammo clips.

Need me to roll any kind of Athletics? or something? Or that does really require any rolls...

You can slide and be prone without any skill roll what so ever. With an Athletics Group or Gymnastics skill roll and some successes I would definitely add some sort of benefit to the action like sliding under the body for cover etc. Your choice of course.

Can't remember if I had said this for this game but I am always open to skill rolls to try action movie style stunts in SR (it's a standard feature for my tabletop games). A session or so ago we had one character shoot a hole through the floor of a club for another character to slide through and bracing her legs on the edge to shoot down at a heavily armored target on the floor below with the gunman character stepping on the soles of her feet to brace her as an example.

Gymnastics roll to slide and use the body for cover and I'm pilfering the guards gear...

That's enough to get +2 modifier to your defensive actions by using the guard as a shield & your still able to reach any gear she dropped or has.

Movement is free - you can Observe in Detail as a Simple Action leaving you a Simple Action to grab something. So perception test please with visual enhancements if any.

Hamagen the gun is an Ares Crusader (Arsenal pg 22) with a full clip of gel rounds - you have no idea what is in the extra clips but they are for this gun. The commlink is an Erika Elite with an Iris Orb OS (Main Book pg 328). There are 4 extra clips.
