Bod 5: 5 4 4 2 2
Decker will take M damage.
Agent 1 goes on 24. Simple action: position attack (10 7 7 5 5 5 4 3 2 2 1 1). Simple action: Attack 8S [penetration, targeting] (11 8 7 5 5 4 4 3 1 1 1)
Agent 2 goes on 22. Simple action: position attack (11 10 8 7 5 5 4 1 1 1 1 1). Simple action: Attack 8S [penetration, targeting] (8 7 5 5 4 4 3 2 2 2 1)
Decker goes on 17. Complex action: medic 6 (6 5 5 4 2 2)
The position attacks are opposed tests, you need to roll sensors against a TN (9).

Slip- If you want to search astrally for the clinic from your apartment, the TN will be an Intelligence (10) test. You have no idea where it is, but Scrap was able to describe it a bit, enough to give you an idea. However you only need 1 success to find it. Of course if you go there physically and then project, you find it.
Scrap- Your post is fine, no need to change it.

How are you handling the two attacks? The first one has eight successes, the second one seven. Depending on the results of the positioning attacks.

No, the agents will stay until their instructions dictate otherwise or they are crashed. You need to make a Sensors test against a TN (9) to resolve the position attack by each agent. Then roll shield against the attack's power. Then bod against the attack's power minus armor. You can't evade as it isn't your action.
Ecclesiastes
Jul 15 2005, 10:11 PM
Sorry, i thought you were asking for Evasion tests, you can use the same rolls though, the same number of dice get used. I have no Shield, but I do have Armor 6.
Bod 1: 10 10 07 05 05 05 04 03 01 01
Bod 2: 11 05 05 05 05 04 03 02 01 01

That's two successes on the position attack, which puts you up one against the agent. Each of their attack programs has targeting, though, which drops their target numbers by two. They're looking at 4 to hit. Which gives the first attack seven successes. You rolled eight to soak, which gives you a serious wound to your icon. That'll jump up your target numbers for the position attack by the second icon by three, giving you one success to tie. No bonus either way, it's target number is 3. Seven successes again. Again, you roll eight success to soak, taking a serious wound. You'll get dumped from the system, soak 6M (stun).

Everyone- I have a wedding all day tomorrow (Saturday) so I won't be posting at all. I doubt it will affect ASVW much (or anything else), and I'll be back Sunday. Just a warning because we are in a combat situation in SVW, which usually moves faster than normal posting, but by the time my turn comes up again, I'll probably be back.

LitS ANNOUNCEMENTNeuron Basher is currently beta-testing Dumpshock / Invision on the new server, which means all content on these forums has been copied to the link mentioned in
this thread.
For the time being, all
our new posts stay here: not least because, being a test site, any data entered there constantly risks deletion without warning. (We had a narrow escape yesterday
here from another data-loss like the last one.)
In other words, everything is fine, don't change a thing, situation normal ... how are you?

Stealth is an open test, and not an opposed test, which means that spending 1 karma pool point allows you to reroll 1 die of the test.

Sigh, well they say all good things must come to an end...got a talking to today about all the time I spend on the internet at work. Not busted or anything, since they don't have any work for me to do, so they can't get angry, and they haven't given me anything else to do either. Until today.
They want me to take the CPA exam ASAP, so they thought it'd be 'helpful' if I studied for the exam and enlightened myself as much as possible about tax and other accounting related matters during my free time. I prefer studying at home, since the work environment is actually very distracting to me, but we all know how 'suggestions' at work are to be taken.
I'll probably be able to post and email and reply a lot less during the work day, mostly centered around when I get to work, and at lunch, and when I get home. So if there's a sudden drop off in my posting rate, especially during the day, from here on out, well now you know why. Sigh, and it was so much FUN going to work when I just spent ridiculous amounts of time online.
