Felix did not pick up his stuff. Splintered Crash's former turf had quite a few ghouls in it during the time you went, so it wasn't going to be an easy trip and survival was by no means guaranteed.

For fairness sake, I prefer to say Felix simply beat a retreat out of there once the ghoul spotted him and did whatever else you would rather him do in the interim, planning to come back later (probably with Shade and Aziz to back him up) to retrieve his stuff.

Heya Winter - just to confirm that my accelerated training dream is coming true...wiki says max 4 hours training in a day, up to cap of 8 by spending karma.

If Christmas has come early this year, I am NOT complaining - you know I will be Johnny-on-the-spot with those IC posts.

You are correct. Of the 12 hours available, 4 may be spent training, 8 if you spend karma per the wiki.

Note that most characters should still be resting at least part or even the majority of the time, for role-playing purposes if not necessarily healing/statistical ones.

If I get the sense your character is not resting adequately throughout the course of the game, I will smack you with fatigue modifiers out of nowhere. Fatigue is nasty like that; you think you're doing fine, plenty of energy, then BOOM! Fatigue kicks you right in the nuts and you crash.

For the record, I highly doubt that will be an issue, people have been great about realistically sleeping/resting/crashing. This was more of a 'don't abuse these downtime periods by trying to do nothing but train' warning.

Grack is probably the sole exception to this currently since every time I turn around, it seems like he's sleeping.

Sure - It's called 'penalty to all actions due to being sluggish from too much sleep', typically incurred when the target tries to mine for additional bonuses/benefits on top of the ones already bestowed.

i am terribly sorry for dropping off the radar like that. to make matters worse, i don't even have an excuse.
i just got kind of overwhelmed with my first ever university experience and somehow simply ...forgot about DitG.
that is, until i got a newsletter from wikispaces which produced a little bit of a "oh shi~" moment.

so... i kind of wondered if i am still in the game and wanted.

I think I told you yes to this before, if not, consider it a yes now. As long as there is a clear and easily viewable method of tracking your training time, that's all I want. The tracker was simply instituted as a standardized method for those not as pro-actively organized as yourself.



Your local recon will not run into trouble unless you do something insanely GM provocative. If you do decide to do something along those lines, consider two factors:

1. I did this time jump to sync everyone up again and reunite the gang so we can move on to the business of actually beginning to build the gang from the ground up. If someone was to foul up those plans and force me to delay moving forward, I might be very, very upset.

2. Someone (who shall remain unnamed) still has an automatic critical glitch hanging over his head somewhere. Not that I'd use it to arbitrarily punish him or anything, but I'm just saying they might want to be aware of that fact before doing something unnecessarily stupid to provoke the GM.



This is correct, you may train prior to actually getting the karma, since I hand out rewards a certain points in time in chunks, so it's only fair you can utilize your time in advance without the karma, and then spend it when you do, receiving the benefits of training at that point in time.



Neuntoter - The long absence from someone new to the game does not speak well of your commitment, but this game is not one that requires all players to be 100% invested 100% of the time. We are generally equipped to weather the occasional absences everyone, myself included, succumbs to, and in fairness it may simply be a case of you taking your turn at having RL issues prior to getting started playing, which I don't want to hold against you.

So if you are still interested in the game, we would still like to have you.

Your character has already been approved and you are free to post. My suggestion is to set something up with someone OOC to arrange for Will to meet up with and join the gang through meeting someone as they go about establishing their turf and building up their new empire. Let me know if you have any questions, and feel free to ask for help in getting the ball rolling for your PC, there are plenty of people here who are willing and able to assist you.

Pretty much nothing. Lights don't work, no running water, obviously no wireless. Basically no electricity, plumbing, sewage, water, gas, heat, etc. Nothing, ixnay, zero, nada. You do have a nice artificial potted plant in the lobby though. Maybe even more than one.

You certainly can fix/steal what you don't have, that's part of the fun of this game. What's more important, getting high, or obtaining reliable running water? Dilemma, thy name is hygiene.

well, i actually have to recap for myself a little bit...

Will had originally planned to outlast the gang war with his fosterlings on Splintered Crash turf which he assumed to be comparably safe at that time. And he certainly wasn't cocky enough to do that completely without any consent from the Crash, so i'll be going out on a limb and assume that he was at least casually acquainted with them (unless that poses too much of a problem). Of course all that turned out to be quite a miscalculation when the 162s went grocery shopping on Splintered Crash turf.
While Will miraculously survived the onslaught by simply being not there (and instead being out and trying to scavenge something for the kids to celebrate Halloween), his charges weren't so lucky. Their hideout was found out by one of the gangs of ghouls that roamed the turf after the main horde had dealt with the Crash.

By morning of November the First Will was still on Crash turf giving his fosterlings the last rites so to speak. Which wasn't exactly a desirable place to stay. I figured that he would still have tried to first find surviving Crash members by carefully making his way through their turf within a perimeter of his own Watcherspirits in order to elude straggling ghouls. (which still is pretty damn suicidal, if i understand things right)

so, proceeding from this point for now, is there anyone in the vicinity of the former Splintered Crash turf?

Ok, here is the plan for Nevada and Baby to get the doves to the new HQ.

Baby will run as an outrider, just ahead of the group to look for trouble. Nevada is going to stay with the rest of the group. Baby is going to stay within Comm range if she is able.

I figure Baby will take a route that she knows is close to safe houses and bolt holes, so if they need to get hidden quick they can. She will lead them north on 124th Ave NE kind of bouncing back and forth between old LoCoS turf and old Corsair turf. Per IC post she had let Nevada, Frankie and Rags in on some of the bolt holes in case they get separated.

She will have given any clothes out to the girls that she can to dress them down so they don't draw any more attention then they need to.

If they get in to where they can't go anywhere as a group then Baby will try to find a safe house they can hole up in and ferry them to the park one at a time on her bike.

If you feel they will all get there safely then Vegas and I will continue posting, but I wanted to give you a heads up if you have anything to were planning on dropping on us on our way there.

Depends on when we're talking about, and thus the level of gang activity transpiring while he's traveling. Straight distance-wise it's only several blocks, so it wouldn't take that long. Factor in having to either go around or sneak through other gangs' turf and Felix's sprained ankle, and it could take upwards of several hours, depending on what time he's traveling.

Slip and Vegas - You girls will get to the new gang HQ safely. Like good gangers, many of the gangs in the area are sleeping or resting, ready to wreck havoc on Kingsgate once the sun goes down.

In the IC I just threw up I assumed the gun had no usable smart features, laser sight or training mode. If any of these assumptions are false, I'd rather Thumper not use up the ammo in training.

Yeah, he's done at 14:00 or 14:15, though I don't really have a problem with him sleeping a little later if you'd like to use the shooting IC.

To sync everyone up better, I would like the conversation between Aziz, Ink, and Shade to take place around 14:00:00 so everyone can sync up and RP together from there. This way Rico can also join the conversation when he goes looking for Shade, as can Nevada and Baby when they arrive. Everyone please change their timestamp(s) for the related posts from 10 to 14 to reflect this.

Shade will respond to Thumper when he talks to them, and he will respond to Aziz as well. I'll work his reply into an IC post and put it up tomorrow.



You are correct in all your assumptions. The gun is a Beretta 101T (Arsenal pg. 21). It was fully loaded (12 bullets) when Thumper acquired it.

If anyone has any questions, let me know, otherwise I think this is a good time to have everyone adjust their timestamps and characters appropriately so we'll have a large group of the PCs regrouped, synced up, and in position to kick of a good IC conversation.

OK IC post is up, relevant parties go ahead and edit previous time stamps and adjust your future timestamps around my most recent post. This is simply so we can all get on the same page and coordinate our post times in a logical, organized fashion, and that should keep us moving merrily along.
