Grendel,
Donum's goal is to drop the Invisibility spell, reach David's apartment door, and knock. If by chance he meets others in the hallway in the meantime, he'll politely nod and/or greet them in whatever way he is greeted, with the goal to act like he's been here before.
He'll knock a few times at David's door.
If there's an answer, his response will depend on who answers, and how.
If there is no answer, he'll try a few times, and then move to the closest neighbor's door and repeat the process, hoping to talk to someone who knows David.
Donum has Charisma 4, and First Impressions, and is as polite as can be.

To leave the dorm, I am repeating the process that got me there - I'll attempt an invis spell once I reach the bottom landing of the stairs, wait for someone to come through the main door, and attempt to slip out just as I had slipped in.

As you can see, reports of my demise have been somewhat exaggerated.
My first priority is getting DITG back on track. Grendel has been holding down the fort here in LITS. Once Vegas and I work out whether or not she'll be playing Sybersnake or another PC, we'll be jumping back into LITS under Grendel.
Currently I have no PCs in LITS so I'm not going to be GMing, but we'll see what happens. DITG is quite a handful, since it's basically LITS-style in a more defined sandbox (Kingsgate). That results in having a lot of IC posts and GMing, functionally for about 11 PCs or so, which means it is pretty time consuming to GM well. We'll worry about what happens with Grendel getting overloaded in LITS when it happens.

The temperature receptors and restlessness simulators are obviously just flavor, I have no such cyber enhancements that offer any real benefit, it just made sense.
Rod and I will station ourselves where the target is in sight and wait for the other runner's truck to show up. I am just riffing the description off the google maps visual street thing for the area, and it seems like there are deserted places to have a stakeout near that street. If I mistakenly have us in the wrong place, or what I describe is impossible, let me know and I will edit, I didn't see any specific location for the container mentioned.
Hopefully they are coming today; I suppose we can take turns resting in the car if it goes into the night, but we'd look like some real jackass shadowrunners chilling in a parking lot for days on end.

The only thing Leo is specifically watching for are drones that seem out of place (tons of guns, on fire, shifty eyes, etc), or loaders/trucks going near "our" container. If there aren't many people working the docks, I will watch out for people as well. Otherwise, Leo is just on "passive alert."
Are these loaders automated trucks? Do they have any manual control for meta use from what I can see? Is the site as a whole relatively automated, so few meatbags around to yell for the Star when the drek goes down? Do I wish I had had more time to legwork these questions earlier rather than on site? (hint: yes).

Hey all,
So I was looking at the "special projects" thread and saw the entry on a Shadowrun Stock Exchange. I was thinking, what if we went to a site like Virtual Stock Exchange and create a game. Each of us makes a portfolio for one of the iconic companies in the universe, until they are all assigned. The portfolio will consist of "subsidiaries" which are real companies that most closely match the subsidiaries for the selected SR company as described in Corporate Download sourcebook (we can all have fun deciding here on the boards what companies are most like evil Aztlan subsids for instance). Then we let the thing loose, the companies do better or worse depending on actual market forces, and anytime we see a big piece of news for a subsidiary in the portfolio, we post a similar inspired story on Shadowland (what's that, Astrazenica ie EvilBiologics Inc, the Aztlan subsidiary just went through a merger! Sounds fishy to me, Shadowland ho!) It would behoove us to pick some companies that aren't exactly stable so we get more "cool results".
Anyway, let me know what you think. Seems like it could be a nifty community building thing, and maybe even educational, so there is that negative.

We always try and have a reserve GM or two on hand in case we get players showing up with generics. Which we always do. So you'll probably be in luck. Who knows, you might be really lucky and I might have to step in and GM.

Hey all, I'm sorry to report that Ronin, Bandit, and myself will not be at GenCon this year due to work/money issues, and thus will not be making the annual LITS Midnight Madness game. Judging from the laughs and fun we've had together the last few years, I know we'll be missing out big time.
But we expect to be back next year and ready to play! Have fun everyone!
