Burst fire mode. Ludi is second again in the order, Vadim will go first, three passes during this turn.
Mister Juan
May 22 2013, 09:13 PM
Well, I guess her actions will depend on how the situation evolves from here.
grendel
May 22 2013, 09:16 PM
Vadim has moved past the second floor landing and is firing up the stairs. That's about all Ludi can tell right now unless she moves after him.
Mister Juan
May 22 2013, 09:20 PM
In that case, she's going to put some fire toward the 6th floor landing (if there's still someone).
Does the AK have any RC beside the stock? (and does that even count?)
Mister Juan
May 22 2013, 09:39 PM
To save on time and get this going forward, if there is someone still on the 6th floor landing, this is what Ludi will do.
Simple Action 1: Fire one Wide Burst from Good Cover (-2 dice pool):
http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/4059751/ 6,3,1,2,2,6,3: 2 hits
Simple Action 2: Held until Initiative 1, IP 1, in case someone comes through the door

Free Action to ask "Got him?" ?
I really hope Vadim makes it. He's by far my favorite NPC
Mister Juan
May 23 2013, 01:28 AM
Are we still "in combat"? I'm mainly asking because I was going to post and realized maybe I couldn't.
Basically, Ludi thinks that now would be a good time to cut things short and get the hell out.
If we ARE still in combat, she'll tell Vadim to take the chemist and make a run for the car while she provides cover. She'll then proceed to go full auto and use 20 rounds for actual suppressive fire (I've ALWAYS wanted to do this in SR)
grendel
May 23 2013, 03:51 AM
Yes, we're still in combat timing.
grendel
May 23 2013, 07:56 PM
You can go ahead and post Ludi's action. Keep in mind that suppressive fire is a complex action, so you can only use ten rounds from the AK-98. If you had a supermachinegun or minigun class weapon, you could use more.

Probably around 40 minutes if Josslyn pushes it on the way back to Danny's.

I would've sworn that in SR4 they had bumped it up to 20.
Anyways! I'll probably write something up tomorrow (and change my mind 20 times before I actually do it

)
grendel
May 24 2013, 04:26 AM
You're right, it is twenty rounds for suppressive fire. Just had to recheck.
Mister Juan
May 24 2013, 06:32 PM
I know that mechanically speaking, "covering fire" doesn't really exist in SR4. I mean, sure, there's the suppressive fire thing, but rereading the rules, it seems horrible, because unless you're going first in combat, it serves almost no purpose, since it only lasts until your next action phase. At least, that's how I'm reading it. If you interpet the rules different, do chime in

All Ludi wants is to provide covering fire while Vadim retreats with the chemist.
So, unless you tell me that I've misread the rules, Ludi will tell Vadim to grab the chemist and make it for the car. Then, hold her action until Vadim makes a move. As soon as he starts moving, she'll swing out of cover and either fire at whomever she sees (wide burst again), or hold her action until someone pops out.

All right,
Remy is up first in combat, this turn will have 3 passes.
This is what the pawn shop looks like on the first turn of combat.
None of the attackers are wearing any insignia, the quick glance
Remy has shows them to be dressed in digital urban camo jumpsuits with respirators and goggles.
Mach_Ten
Jun 2 2013, 09:15 PM
How do you want this? Ooc intentions first followed by IC or vice versa ?
For example, Remy intends to step quickly to cover between Joslyn and Alpha.
His complex action is to grab and subdue Alpha, thus using him as human cover from the rest as well as the physical cover from the wall.

Subdual combat is handled as a standard melee attack, Remy has no modifiers so go ahead and roll his pool.

Holy crap. Apparently, wikispace became "subscription based" since we've started using it (2007!!!), so technically, we are now limited to 5 members only if we want to use the free version. Luckily enough, by kicking out all the inactive players, I've been able to make a spot for DeliciousD.
All this to say that I think I'll start searching for another platform. A plain ol' Wiki might just do the trick.

Let me know if you guys need another editor. I'm happy to help again, whatever platform we go to.
And I think if an "owner" of the wiki validates/verifies the account it can be made public again... but then again I only skimmed the info when it kept yelling at me to look at mine.

If I survive this, I'm not stepping out of the house without armour again...preferably milspec.
It's fine though, it's only stun, I'll just slap on a Stimpatch and...damn, I knew there was something I forgot to buy something at character creation.
I've got a bunch of Cram for this exact sort of situation too but it's probably in my armoured jacket...safely at home. At least I'm saving on armour repair.

I didn't realize that wikispaces had gone to a subscription service. That's unfortunate.
Danny spends a simple action to ready weapon and a simple action to load (agility) rounds. This ends first pass.
Remy is up on 17 again.
