This is a WIP, a little rushed and perhaps not as carefully considered as I’d like but all that aside it should give you all something to latch on to and run with, I hope!

I’ll update this as you find out more or more things occur to me…

• Ryl is concerned with a faction that has a latch on the Ordo Nobilis
• The faction isn’t directly leading the Ordo
• The faction has, presumably, already recruited likely candidates from the Ordo so any newbies will need to be vetted for suitability, Freija and Tuesday are the honey trap!
• Compte (Count!) Fabian Auber, old world order, woman hater & William Fitzroy, corporate raider, have shown unusual interest in those two (and their protectors)
• There might or might not be rumours of Black Lodge involvement! They are rumoured to have worked against the Dragons in the past so…
• The faction is presumably working counter to her desires otherwise there’s no real reason for her involvement. You get the feeling she thinks the Ordo is a bit of a joke…
• Ryl moves in unusual circles (from your subtle digging in to her background) – there are rumours that she is involved with something outside the normal purview of the dragons.
• Her travels often take her to the Emerald Isle / Tir nA nOg (hardly the typical place for dragons to go) as well as Seattle and other European locations
• Rumours have linked her to Imago, Cereberus and matrix machinations…but then that could just be part of the rumour mill associated with NeoNet and Celedyr
• Names that occasionally come up in connection with eTher (the handle she uses in the shadows) – Aria, Summer and The Old One
• The most likely ‘Aria’ is a matrix user who is closely linked with The Citadel virtual game hosted in Seattle
• Could also be a shadowrunner who ran with a Prime Runner group called Balefire
• Summer, again the most likely is a matrix user (decker/techno?!?) based in Seattle
• The Old One – he’s old, other than that, who the hell knows?

Thin, skin seems a bit loose
Complexion pale, almost yellow.
Bags under eyes.
Facial bone structure even, but nose has obviously been broken a number of times.
At first glance looks mid- to late-60s, but upon closer observation seems more like his own weather-beaten, worse-for-wear 47-year-old self.
Bushy mop of sandy hair, bangs cut above the eyes, around the ears, and roughly at collar-length (no, not a mullet). Appears to have been hacked off with a knife. Probably hasn’t been washed in a while.
Sunken cheeks, prominent chin, moderately heavy brow over bright, deep-set blue eyes.
Side-burns, not bushy
Generally sports a few days’ growth, but usually uneven, as though he missed some spots the last time he shaved.
Teeth hopelessly tobacco-stained. Fingernails, too.
Wolfish grin.
Hands and forearms mottled with terrible burn scars.
Wears beat up brown workmen’s boots. Faded, ripped jeans. Currently they are quite loose, but cinched tight with a brown cracked-leather belt. (Sometimes trades the jeans for olive-drab cargo pants.) Stained yellowish-white T-shirt or, on very hot days, yellowish-white wifebeater. Ancient, weathered brown real-leather jacket – quite bulky on his emaciated frame.
Filterless Lucky Strike omnipresent, usually in corner of mouth, even if speaking.
No visible jewelry of any kind.
Very hairy – extensive hair on chest, shoulders, and upper arms.
Visible tattoos –
Inside right forearm – a good piece of work. Full-color. A gnarly sea serpent crushing and cracking a representation of the Proteus AG logo, its fanged visage striking forward at the viewer, this done in excellent perspective. The image encompassed by a neat circular banner, ‘Troubleshooters’ emblazoned across the top, ‘Proteus AG’ across the bottom. Inscribed neatly but much smaller underneath it all – “No. 1 Bilge Rat”.
From top of left shoulder, extending downward to elbow – a list of names, all in different styles of calligraphy/font/whatever, varying levels of quality, some in Roman letters, a few Arabic, one in Chinese characters. All have neat Xs tattooed through them. Ten total.
Right upper arm – black & white a nude woman who – you guessed it – seems to sway erotically when he flexes his bicep.
Right shoulder – shoulder patch positioning – Confederate stars and bars in color.

Generally no readily visible tech.
Always reeks of cigarette smoke.
If he takes off his jacket one can see a big survival knife, sheathed, stuck into his belt at the small of his back.
Voice is sometimes too loud, and very gravelly/scratchy. Physicality usually very subdued – brash voice from mostly still frame.

Rimbur is a brownskinned elf standing about 167 cm tall with light brown eyes. He has thick black hair streaked with green dye that falls to his sholders but he tend to keep it tied in a ponytail.

Rimbur is a citizen of the UCAS. While never knowing his parents whe was never the less drawn towards the Tribal people of the world and has a affinity for them. A bright student, he discoverd his Awakened technomancer abilities early in life and manuvered into a Scholarship to study a Technical Craft.

Without access to invisible castle I made up a roll system so so integrity would be in the system....

He's got a string of chicas he crashes with until they eventually throw him out after his mom died from the plague ravaging Puyallup. He's busy a lot with the Firebreathers, the go-gang he belongs to, but is still tight with his maimed ork friend.

Enrique is Scrapheap's former BTL pusher. He's connected with the Mafia, where he gets his product from, and is still trying to become a made man. Being Aztlaner makes this about as likely as Kenneth Brackhaven marrying a troll, and is a constant source of frustration for him. Scrapheap keeps tabs with him more as a source of information for people on his corner that could cause the tribes trouble since he got clean; the money Scrap pays for that data spends just as well, so Enrique's good with the arrangement.
Podolski Con 2 Loy 3
Podolski is Scrapheap's mechanic. Scrapheap is his go-to when he needs a hard-to-find part or six out of the junkyard or a hard message delivered to someone not paying their bill, and in return he's helps him keep Scrapheap's motorcycle running. He was where Scrapheap got most of the funds and expertise to repay the Firebreathers without having to join the gang, something the Polish dwarf sees as his good deed for his lifetime.

Scrapheap is a seasoned member of the tribe and is a fire-team leader when shit inevitably hits the fan around the mall. Becoming a known and useful member of the tribe has let him move from his curtained-off flop into a one-room "apartment" that at least has a locking door and a warming plate.

Scrapheap has matured a bit over the last three years, the hard experience of watching people in the tribes he knows die from something he can't fight stripping away the sense of immortality that all teenagers have. The rage that coursed through him during the assault on the Fre∑domers has been tempered by both the leadership given to him of his own fire team and by the requirement that he kick his BTL habit to continue that leadership. Hate still holds a spot in his heart for the gang that butchered his family, but their destruction has become a "want" compared to the list of "needs" that the tribes' survival requires both in combat capability and resource acquiring.

Jermaine Con 3 Loy2
Jermaine (or "Doc Aught" as the street knows him) is an unlicensed street doc who travels via heavily-armored-and-guarded RV that he has converted into a mobile surgical suite. By playing the indifferent stitcher to whatever blow-up that's happened on the street he's kept the gangs from trying to co-op him. Chiisai was referred to him by a DocWagon paramedic whom the recently-arrived refugee helped keep a contractee alive following a car accident he witnessed just after arriving in Seattle.
Buzz Con 2 Loy 1
Buzz is Chiisai's illicit substances/chips pusher. A small-time criminal dwarf with enough connections to a couple "bigger fish" to get his supply from with no motive to push higher than he is currently. "There may be bigger money up the chain, but there's also more people gunning for you, too." is his take on it.
Theo Con 3 Loy 1
A blunt, sarcastic hermetic mage who runs a shop aimed squarely at that market and nothing else. Has a reputation for driving younger/more naïve shamans from his establishment in tears from his acerbic commentary on their practices. Chiisai has discussed a couple finer points about their respective takes on hermeticism, but that shop talk is as far as it's ever gone.

A Native-American stripper at one of Puyallup City's assortment of pole joints/whorehouses who finds Chiisai's manners a welcome change from the boorish and vulgar behavior she regularly gets from the slumming sararimen and gang-bangers. He's still only a client, but his ability to help her recover from a vicious STI she picked up from a dockworker has her thinking maybe he'd be better as something more, though.

Chiisai is new to the tribe but a welcome addition to the ranks of the clinic's staff, despite his occasional eye-rolls at the tribe's artistic flair. He might not buy into their love of steampunk, but he knows a good place to live when he sees it.

Josh was the son of a Japanese-American middle manager at a AA-level corp in Chicago, a studious yet artistic child. He was ten years old when it became Bug City. Dad never made it home from work, and mom threw in with what she thought were Yakuza in the ensuing chaos; turns out they were just a gang that played at it. His mother did everything the gang leader required to provide what safety and survival she could for her only remaining family. His Awakening was quiet (and not quite unexpected by his mother), no lightning bolts thrown in a puberty-angst filled tantrum or malicious poltergeist behavior. The gang had another refugee, an older gentleman who advised the gang's leadership while helping tend their wounded. Unbeknownst to them, he was an actual Yak whose group were annihilated by the rampaging bug spirits and was simply using them as a safe place to stay until the walls eventually fell and his true masters returned. He took Chiisai under his wing and tutored him in both what martial arts he could show him and also the ways of healing. When Ares' Firewatch teams went on the offensive and the city was "cleared" the old man's masters did indeed return and butchered the gang and their hangers-on, Josh's mother included. The young man was spared by the intercession of his teacher, though it required the old man's seppuku to balance the scales. Bereft of a home and any family, Josh wandered the city for years, never settling in one spot, staying only to learn more from people who could teach him. He picked up tattooing along the way, a way to allow his creativity to flow while earning enough to survive when times were lean. A chance encounter with a kobun of the Yakuza who had spared his life ended in a single, regrettable act of violence and the death of that man. Needing a quick exit, Josh fled the city on a t-bird headed for Seattle.
